I was craving sushi while I waited for my daughter to finish her cheer practice so I googled places near me and came across this little place with very good reviews and well, they did not disappoint! This place is located in a shopping plaza and it is very easy to find. I sat at the sushi bar and ordered the Kani salad, plus 2 rolls. They have soo many special roll options it took me a little while to choose. Everything I got and saw was very fresh and the portions were very filling. The waitress was also very nice and very attentive, - absolutely no complaints (OH and the bathroom was also very clean!). They are BYOB so I have told a friend about this place and we will be returning for dinner really soon with a wine bottle this time :). read more

Yummy sushi! Came here a month or so back with a few friends and it was moderately priced but amazing sushi. We will be back!

This place has a very nice dim atmostphere, just how a sushi restaurant should be. The service was very nice and it didn't take too long for the food to come out. Had the udon here and was very disappointed. Tasted like fat noodles limp in a bowl of hot water. Would not recommend for sushi either.

First visit. I had the chicken teriyaki to go. It came with soup (which was ok) and salad with ginger dressing on the side (which was better). I asked for brown rice and was happy that they gave me a small portion. I will be back to try something else. read more

My family and I have been coming to this place for years. It's not the most exceptional sushi in the entire world, but for somewhere like Hillsborough, it's pretty great. The sushi is fresh, they have great seaweed salad and octopus appetizer, the service is always fantastic, and I would definitely recommend it if you live around Hillsborough and want a no frills sushi lunch/dinner. read more

This place is hidden in a small shopping plaza in Hillsborough, but once you're there, you realize it's a gem. It is a traditional Japanese restaurant with a traditional menu so I like to go there when want pure Japanese food. I've had virtually every roll on their menu as well as most of their entrees. This is the cutest little sushi place, and everything I've ever had here is fresh and delicious. There's a great selection here--both traditional items that you would expect at any sushi restaurant and other special times unique to just here, accented by the entertaining spelling mistakes on the menu. However, you can usually hear everyone eating and talking around you in the restaurant. Wonderful! This is a small restaurant, and even though there are several other sushi places in the same town it's top notch. The raw fish is always fresh, every dish is designed to be both tasty and visually appealing. Rainbow roll is as gorgeous to look at as it is to eat. I've been told the vegetarian section is "good." Going during the evening typically promises cheerful atmosphere (it is definitely more along the lines of "intimate" dining in terms of square feet) low music, and fresh fruit at the end of the meal. The staff is always smiling and very polite, and there are usually bogo (half off) promotions for regular rolls most weeknights. Their non fishy meals are also no slouch! Kids can have different sorts of chicken, and big groups can opt for a rather large wooden boat that is stuffed full of sushi.(According to the menu is feeds at LEAST 5 if I recall correctly). I am not going to talk about the food, though you should consider getting the spicy tuna handroll; these guys are the nicest restaurant owners in Princeton. The establishment itself doesn't look too fancy, but the quality of food, presentation and staff were top of the line.
