We were offered multiple sauces and recommendations for burrito favorites. It was really hard to choose! It has a folk art style decor complete with bottle cap mural molding around the room. I plan to try all their menu because the burritos we got were so big that I had two meals from one! Bonus!

Even with that going on, she welcomed us and we ordered a couple of burritos while taking not of all of the fresh pastries and other goodness. We ordered one beef and green chile and a Sausage breakfast burrito. They make their own sausage for these from a recipe that has been in the family for over 100 years, and I highly recommend it. Both were exceptional and they are huge and do not skimp on the meat. After those we could not pass up grabbing some of the Maple Peach bread pudding and an Apple Danish. The Apple Danish was outstanding, cannot speak to the bread pudding as that disappeared before I was able to try it. This place is awesome, great food, great staff, great atmosphere, and we will be adding this to our breakfast rotation for sure. I need to return to try the burgers, and I'm certain they will not disappoint. If you are in the area, this is the place you need to try for sure.

Second of all... inside voices?? Here's the kicker: it did NOT decline. I had the confirmation email, and my bank showed the charge (I didn't know this yet). Instead of verifying, she told me matter-of-factly that it declined, so I handed her the exact same card I used online, and she ran it again. Boom, double charged. And at that point, I'm starving and not about to fight over a fast food order, trusting that staff are doing their due diligence, not just assuming and casually charging a second $30 like it's no big deal in this economy. I had to go back through the drive-thru line (again), wait (again), and deal with it while my food sat getting soggy (not again, unfortunately, just once was enough). To their credit, the refund was issued and it did hit my account. So yes, they fixed it. That matters. But... this shouldn't have happened in the first place. It's a training issue. If an order is confirmed, don't assume it declined. And maybe don't announce someone's "declined card" across the building like it's a group discussion topic. Still a decent location... would be smart to verify before you charge people twice (maybe my expectations are too high?) and I will never order online again because of this, lesson learned first time around on that.

**-5 STARS** I recently had a terrible experience at Salad and Go that I have to share. I've been a regular customer, getting salads almost twice every week, but after this visit, I won't be going back to this location. The workers were absolutely horrible. When I got my salad, it was completely wrong. I had to go back up to the window to get it fixed, and the guy just chucked my salad in the trash can and remade it without any apology. To make matters worse, the lady at the window was insanely rude. She didn't seem to care at all about the mistake or my frustration. Her attitude was just unacceptable, and it made the whole situation even more unpleasant. After finally getting my salad, I went back to my car and started to drink my frozen strawberry lemonade. To my surprise, it tasted like coffee. Yes, coffee! I couldn't believe it. The drink looked completely normal and was the right color, but the taste was so disgusting. I thought maybe it was just my tastebuds, so I let two of my friends try it. One of them almost threw up because it was so bad. Maybe it tasted like coffee because it was rotten or even because the water wasn't filtered. This experience was incredibly disappointing, especially since I've been a loyal customer. I expected much better service and quality from Salad and Go. Unfortunately, this visit has completely changed my opinion of this location. To top it off, my stomach hurt for four hours after eating the salad. I won't be returning to this Salad and Go. The workers' attitudes and the mistakes with my order were just too much to overlook. It's a shame because I used to enjoy their salads, but this experience has left a really bad taste in my mouth, both literally and figuratively. I've been anxious to try this place because I was told (by a natural embellisher so I should have known) I could get a "HUGE chicken Cesar salad that is the best ever for like 5 bucks." I don't regularly eat salads for meals, but its a 5 min walk from the office. Best part, is the drive thru -- I was away from work for no more than 7 minutes. I'm pretty sure today was their first day being open so I gave them 3 Stars. Here are my comments: CONTENTS: Yes, it is a large "Cesar" salad, and by that I mean they give you a lot of romaine lettuce. My salad had very very little cheese (a real disappointment), 4 (split) cherry tomatoes, a good amount of croutons, a decent amount of dressing and about 5-6 cubes of heavily seasoned chicken. It comes in a bowl style container w/ a lid. OPINIONS: I like their Cesar dressing (gotta love those anchovies! hah - not really, but you can taste their presence). Not a big fan of their chicken. It was served cold, heavily seasoned, and cubed. I'm not sure why, but I've never been a big fan of cubed chicken. And, there was very little of it (the main reason salads are not meals for me). Their croutons are very good, and very well could be the best part of the entire salad. The lettuce was freshly cut, crisp, and all around good quality and quantity. I did not appreciate being cheap on the cheese--come on! All that was there, had fallen to the bottom of the large container so it made my last few bites very tasty. Oh and the OTD price would have been just over $6 if I skipped the chicken, so my OTD price was between $7 and $8 (I'd give you the exact amount but they said I couldn't get a receipt due to tech. difficulties). read more

My issue is that it is 2026 and that is just crazy that these are the digital gift cards between Prezzee and Rubios. They should have a scan capability. The manager did attempt to make the experience right which is why I'm doing 2 stars. Nerada manager kind and not really her issue, complaint due to the technology of the digital gift cards. But the 1st McDowell experience and then coming here & the gift card fiasco just set the tone. I apologize if spelled the managers name wrong but I'm good. 2 not so good experiences I have made decision it just isn't worth the frustration. The food is decent but I'm very cool on Rubios there is that experience that just says yeah no. Never again.
