First of all, we usually get salads and I really appreciate the fact that there is a healthy and affordable option right around the corner from our house. We decided today we wanted to try the wraps for the first time. My husband ordered the fajita wrap and Decided he wanted steak so there was a $1.25 uplift for that. He said it was tasty, but some of the steak pieces were a bit chewy. He loved the heat level and it was chock full of fajita type veggies I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap and I enjoy the hot sauce and blue cheese mix of dressing. I only have one complaint and that is I had opted out of carrots and they gave me a choice to add something else so I said tomatoes and they basically put whole cherry tomatoes in my wrap, which were kind of impossible to eat . Those really need to be sliced up or use a different kind of tomato, but I'll not make that mistake again! All in all- great option when you want to eat fresh and decently healthy food- I order the dressing on the side to keep it lighter as well.

I've loved Salad and Go from my very first visit a year or two ago. Their menu is simple and healthy so I never feel guilty whenever I get something from here. Their prices are great and for the portion size, you can't complain. This time around, I went to the drive-thru and ordered the Cobb Salad with ranch dressing (instead of blue cheese). The lady over the intercom said, "oohhkayyy." When I got to the window, the guy asked if it was okay if it had blue cheese crumbles on top. I wasn't feeling blue cheese, but I kept quiet to avoid confrontation, plus it seems the salads are pre-made that way. Other than that, this place was quick and the drive-thru was efficient and convenient for me. The salads here are always on point and today's Cobb was no exception. I also like their flavored lemonades, but resisted temptation today, lol.

Ugh this was so sad! We order s 8 Caesar salads for a church event and threw away 5 of them! The lettuce was completely rotten. I was trying to stay away from bagged salads for the event and wanted fresh crunchy Salad and Go salads like I'm normally used to. We live in Gilbert and frequent Salad and Go 3 times a week at least. What a disappointment. We got to the event and then realized it which at that point we didn't have time to request replacements. I will not be going back to this location.

Many people go to Salad and Go for their fresh salads, wraps, and bowls, but it is also a great place for breakfast burritos and bowls as well. I was amazed that for $3.80 you can get delicious breakfast bowls or burritos with fresh and healthy ingredients. I chose the traditional breakfast burrito with fresh eggs, breakfast potatoes, pepper jack cheese, and turkey sausage instead of bacon with a choice of red or green salsa. I gotta say the burrito was thick and packed with healthy goodness. I didn't like the salsa packaging, but the rest was pretty good and a definite bargain at $3.80, and you can feel good about eating it too.

Tried their seasonal Crisp Bacon & Apple salad with chicken and it AMAZING! The maple apple vinaigrette on it was so good that I want to get the recipe. Definitely will be back to try another one of their options! It was hard to pick just one. Love that there is a quick, healthy option - less than 5 minutes through the drive thru. Finally came to Phoenix and I am Loving it. Friends and family in Chandler,Gilbert and Mesa always said how great the salads are and now I have one near my work! I literally eat a salad almost every day here. So fast, fresh and delicious, not to mention affordable. I drive through, on my way to work, every couple of days. I buy one salad for that day and one for the next. They stay super fresh up to three days. LOVE IT!! read more

I was okay with this place the first couple times I went, but I'm not too sure anymore after getting home with my food today. I decided to add steak to my wrap and it doesn't taste fresh at all. I don't know, it could be the quality of the meat too. It had a strong old taste to it. And the first time I went I got chicken added to my salad and that didn't taste fresh either. I picked it out and ate my food anyway because I was so hungry. I'm kind of turned off now and probably won't be back. I'm so sick of wasting money when I go out to eat. Why is it so hard to have good quality fresh food?! read more

Wow wow wow! Finally a healthy fast food drive thru. The staff is helpful and patient. The prices are very affordable for what you're getting. I ordered the lemonade but probably won't get that again, it was a little watered down. The Cobb salad was so delicious though. I added steak to my salad for an additional $2. Overall I think my meal was $11. Not bad for a healthier faster optional. Will definitely return sometime this week! read more

This place is amazing! I have said for years that we need a salad/wrap/smoothie drive thru. While on a business trip I went four times. I love the bbq chicken wrap and especially the breakfast bowl with quinoa. Amazing the food came out fast and if I lived in Phoenix I would be here all the time! Please expand to San Diego soon! read more

I go here a lot, but they recently changed their menu. They have done this several times since I have gone there, but they got rid of the two salads that were not seasonal that my husband and I order. They no longer even have a bunch of items they used to that you could add to your salad. The outside computers also barely work and it is really frustrating. Almost every time I go there I have a problem with it, but it is the only way to actually know what ingredients are available since they change their menu so frequently. They also got rid of all but two of their vegan dressings. We have been going there for a long time and will not be going back. read more

Bought lunch here recently and it was just decent. I liked that they had a drive thru, it was quick and easy to get me and my fiancé lunch on our work breaks. I got the sante Fe salad with chicken and it was very dry, even with the dressing, and quite bland. My fiancé got the southwest Caesar wrap and he said it was very bland for a Caesar wrap. It was a good way to get quick food, but the taste wasn't there. read more

I picked up a couple of salads via the drive through on my home. Saw the little specials board and ordered two of the seasonal salads they were offering. The dressings were tasty but seemed a bit "thin" and seemed a little too watered down. The employees were nice and were lightening fast- ordered, paid and received the food in like one minute flat. If you're looking for a quick place for a fresh salad this place is good if you're in the area. read more

I absolutely LOVE salad and go! Even when they had just a couple locations. Now that they are growing I am excited to know they are becoming more easily accessible. I went to the location at 7th st and Bethany home today while out on deliveries for work and like always the service was exceptional! Drive thru was quick and painless. Yes, they have self serve kiosks outside so if you don't like that then go through the drive through or don't complain. I for one love it. I still manage to get to see a warm smile from someone every time and that's all that matters. I can't say the quality of food matters because it's ALWAYS perfect! I had tried the BBQ chicken salad and their seasonal lemonade. Which was sangria. OMG! You have to try it before it goes away. And the salad was so good! I love the portion sizes you get for the amount of money you pay. Perfect price for a perfect meal. THANKS YOU GUYS!!! Keep up the great work! I'll continue to be a loyal customer with service like that! read more

I go to Salad and Go very often and every time I have been very pleased! I'm not a very big Salad fan, so when I first started going, when they first opened, I would get the BBQ Ranch wrap. Then I started to try other things and I fell in love with the Caprese salad with chicken. That is the best tasting salad I have ever had! The service is always great, and pretty fast even when they're busy. I usually walk up to the window since the drive thru is usually too long. This has become my go to lunch place and I would highly recommend, even to people who aren't fans of salads. read more

I purchased the chia seed yogurt without the Greek yogurt, and it was pretty tasty! I've tried a salad and the breakfast wrap as well. Great portions, and easy to order vegan as they have tofu and they'll take the dairy out, as almost everything is made as it is ordered. I'm very grateful to have this location so close to home. read more

For some reason they changed their policy, and you have to request salad dressing to be mixed in (which used to be by default). Now I have to verbally request this otherwise they place the dressing on the side. It's annoying and I don't understand the point of this change. read more

Loved the Southwest Salad with chicken added. I wasn't able to eat it until next afternoon and it was still fresh!! Also tried the chicken pot pie soup. YUM. I had the organic breakfast smoothie more than once. I really love it. I can't wait to try more. Unfortunately, I live in Tucson and there is no location here (as yet, fingers crossed). I stop by here whenever I am in the Phoenix area which is not often enough unfortunately. Can't wait until it opens in Tucson!! read more

Salad and Go is awesome! I got the Asian salad with tofu and it was really tasty and bigger than I expected - perfect for lunch. My boyfriend was really hesitant to try it with me but ended up loving his Asian chicken wrap and breakfast smoothie. Our food was super fresh and we couldn't believe how fast we got through the line.. we had our food within a minute of ordering it! It was kind of crazy. They have a few good vegan options on the menu and there was a vegan soup on the specials board as well. I'm stoked to have this place in the neighborhood! read more

That location is close to a place I go to frequently, so this is another option for me if I should need some food and don't want to do Salad & Go, but want something healthy. I got an Asian Grilled Burrito with Wild Salmon. Was driving so a bowl I could not do. I could barely eat the burrito driving because it's sort of flat and had rice. It was very yummy. Something I learned was Angie's does not have straws and if you order a Refresher, they give you a packet of something to put in the cup. You have to figure out how to make the Refresher, which I saw at the soda fountain dispenser there was sparkling water, so I did that and some Vanilla Torino's. I went about 11 am, and the Torino's were nearly gone and the little table that it was on was fairly unclean. The area to order, where you pickup the order, the soda area, and the metal table by the soda area were all really close and crowded. Since this was my first time there, I didn't even understand that you had to order at some kiosk. They had one by the pickup area and 2 more on the east wall. Felt overwhelming for me. I did not see what the dining area looked like. My burrito was $11-12 and the Refresher was $2. My daughter said their prices were much better than Salad and Go and other places, but I found my meal similar. Oh, I guess the getting wild salmon was the costly thing. You basically need to be heading east on Thomas before 1st Ave as there are a few parking spots on the diagonal. Don't park in the First Watch parking lot. If you're coming west on Thomas, make a u-turn after you pass 1st Ave.

I had the Mescal Manhattan and it was properly cooled and diluted before pouring on the beautiful cube. The balance was spot on for me. Our bartender was attentive and accurate with our orders. The complementary chips and salsas are next level. You get three salsas/sauces to sample on the thin and crispy chips. Don't freak out when you see the pricing on the tacos. They range from $7-10 but these are not little street tacos. One could be a meal especially paired with the chips and salsa. Two tacos were almost more than we could handle. The Chipotle Cherry Steak was tasty -albeit a bit sweet for my taste. My wife loved the Carnitas and my favorite was the California or the Shrimp. Just do it! **-5 STARS** I recently had a terrible experience at Salad and Go that I have to share. I've been a regular customer, getting salads almost twice every week, but after this visit, I won't be going back to this location. The workers were absolutely horrible. When I got my salad, it was completely wrong. I had to go back up to the window to get it fixed, and the guy just chucked my salad in the trash can and remade it without any apology. To make matters worse, the lady at the window was insanely rude. She didn't seem to care at all about the mistake or my frustration. Her attitude was just unacceptable, and it made the whole situation even more unpleasant. After finally getting my salad, I went back to my car and started to drink my frozen strawberry lemonade. To my surprise, it tasted like coffee. Yes, coffee! I couldn't believe it. The drink looked completely normal and was the right color, but the taste was so disgusting. I thought maybe it was just my tastebuds, so I let two of my friends try it. One of them almost threw up because it was so bad. Maybe it tasted like coffee because it was rotten or even because the water wasn't filtered. This experience was incredibly disappointing, especially since I've been a loyal customer. I expected much better service and quality from Salad and Go. Unfortunately, this visit has completely changed my opinion of this location. To top it off, my stomach hurt for four hours after eating the salad. I won't be returning to this Salad and Go. The workers' attitudes and the mistakes with my order were just too much to overlook. It's a shame because I used to enjoy their salads, but this experience has left a really bad taste in my mouth, both literally and figuratively. I've been anxious to try this place because I was told (by a natural embellisher so I should have known) I could get a "HUGE chicken Cesar salad that is the best ever for like 5 bucks." I don't regularly eat salads for meals, but its a 5 min walk from the office. Best part, is the drive thru -- I was away from work for no more than 7 minutes. I'm pretty sure today was their first day being open so I gave them 3 Stars. Here are my comments: CONTENTS: Yes, it is a large "Cesar" salad, and by that I mean they give you a lot of romaine lettuce. My salad had very very little cheese (a real disappointment), 4 (split) cherry tomatoes, a good amount of croutons, a decent amount of dressing and about 5-6 cubes of heavily seasoned chicken. It comes in a bowl style container w/ a lid. OPINIONS: I like their Cesar dressing (gotta love those anchovies! hah - not really, but you can taste their presence). Not a big fan of their chicken. It was served cold, heavily seasoned, and cubed. I'm not sure why, but I've never been a big fan of cubed chicken. And, there was very little of it (the main reason salads are not meals for me). Their croutons are very good, and very well could be the best part of the entire salad. The lettuce was freshly cut, crisp, and all around good quality and quantity. I did not appreciate being cheap on the cheese--come on! All that was there, had fallen to the bottom of the large container so it made my last few bites very tasty. Oh and the OTD price would have been just over $6 if I skipped the chicken, so my OTD price was between $7 and $8 (I'd give you the exact amount but they said I couldn't get a receipt due to tech. difficulties). read more
