The staff at this location is always stingy with the amount of food they give and my salads never fill the entire to go box. If I am going to pay $9+ for a salad I want my moments worth. I know I am not the only one who thinks this because the three people in line behind me all had to ask for more toppings and one man got so upset about it he confronted the manager. read more

Today I visited here to get a fresh salad. It was great I loved everything about the salad was fabulous. My favorite is the prickly pear leamonaid. The reason why I didn't give them five stars is because I asked for my tomatoes on the side, I didn't want them on the salad I wanted them on the side. I didn't already have tomatoes so I didn't understand why the lady wanted to charge me 50 cents for some tomatoes! I am already paying 14.50 for a salad with if it wasn't so delicious I would never pay that much for a salad but to charge me 50 cents for tomatoes(it's wasn't like I already had some and I wanted more) I just wanted a few on the side then tell me it's a new rule new management .... I am upset to be doing this right now, because me and my girlfriend are both obsessed with salata, and we still love it of corse, but This location, we have been here many times because it is the closest to my house, but it seems to get a little worse every time. First of all, I have to ask for things three times, because I ask for Broccoli and she throws 2 pieces on and says OK what next, and then I have to say a little more broccoli, she will throw two more pieces on, and I will have to say a little more broccoli. Almost all of them are very rude and never smiling. They are very Inconsistent with the portions of protein, mostly in a negative way. But to top it all off. I bought my girlfriend a 25 dollar gift card, paid the lady $25, and she gave me the gift card. I came here a different day with my girlfriend to use the gift card, and the lady told me there is no money on it. I said what do you mean? I paid $25 for this gift card for my girlfriend so there should be money on it. She said no there is no money on it. I said well what do we do now? Because I gave you guys $25 for a $25 gift card, and there is not $25 on the gift card. She said the gift card does not work, there's no money on it. I said could I speak with the manager please? She said I am the manager. I did not want to look like a bum trying to get a free salad, so I sadly walked to the back of the line and we paid for our very rudely built salad. It's amazingly delicious! The wide range of choices and the colors give good eye appeal. The staff is very helpful, making suggestions and asking questions. My first visit was awesome and the price is very affordable. read more

Love this place! My best friend made me come here during lunch and I am not into salad bars at all but I must say I was very surprised! I moved out to Austin now and they just opened one out here, so I will be making a few lunch/diner stops for sure. read more

I have been eating at Salata for awhile and like my multigrain bread toasted. I was told today that they no longer can do that. When I asked why? There was no legitimate reason other than the fact it's from "Corporate". A piece of advice Salata, when the roll isn't toasted it's like eating a piece of cardboard. I have been coming to this location for quite a while now and have probably spent well over $1,000 here. It is a great way to get a healthy lunch and I enjoyed it very much. However, several months ago, they raised their prices. This was still ok, but after that, they started reducing their portions significantly. I only eat vegetables here, to keep it as healthy as possible, so it is important to get a reasonable portion size. I still continued going because, when I would talk to them, they would grudgingly give me the portion amount that they previously offered. Today, that changed, as they decided to charge me extra. After discussing with the manager and explaining that, not only did they increase the cost, but they keep reducing portion sizes, her attitude is what really bothered me. Her only response was that it is now corporate owned now and that I am welcome to continue coming if I want. I told her that my business there is done and she just smiled and said thank you. Clearly, they can run their business the way they see fit, but I will not give business to a company that operates this way and that allows managers that do not care about the customer. Houston has way too many options and I will happily take my business somewhere else. read more

This is a great concept. The Cy-Fair area is seriously lacking in healthy restaurants and good salads. I like that you can pick as many toppings as you want for your salad (unlike other similar chains). The small size salad is pretty big so be careful if you are getting a regular size. Love the salmon option - that's a rarity. I give it 4 stars because it's a little pricier than I'd like. They also have a great assortment of iced teas and lemonades! Ask them to let you sample their soups and salad dressings. Also very clean and friendly staff. Will definitely become a regular. read more

I love coming here for lunch or for quick meetings. Similar to Subway, you go in a line and tell them exactly what you want. You start off with salad base (3 different choices) and then you move to all the toppings (plenty to choose from and they have a large variety). I always get the large salad because it's only a little bit more. Here, you can choose from veggies, nuts, fruits, beans, and many different dressings to choose from. You name it, they probably have it. Then, if you'd like, you can add a protein for $2 more. I think the large salad is about $8 and you can add as many toppings as you'd like. You also get your choice of bread. And if like avocado, you can add some for $1 more. This place is a great place for lunch or if you are watching your diet. Great place to get in your fiber. My only complaint is that sometimes the ladies are a bit stingy on the toppings and they only give you a pinch so I always end up having to ask them to add a bit more. read more

Best salad ever! I went around 10:40am one day and they weren't open yet. So I came back the next day about, 11:30am and they were packed. Don't let the line deter you though because they are super fast. You pick your greens, veggies, more veggies, meat, dressing, and bread. I'm one of those people that hate being the one to hold up the line but if I see someone else is holding up the line and I'm offered a toothpick to help decide which chicken I want, of course I'm going to take an extra minute to try and make a great choice. Asian chicken is awesome! Now when I got to the end and got some pop with my salad my total came to $11.50. I was like holly shit! But by the time I was done with my salad I was satisfied. Because they fill your container to the brim not just with the lettuce. And I watched the chicken girl because I thought she was going to just put 1 scoop nope she put 2 and they were good sized scoops. So I will be going back because I love salad! read more

I go to this location about 3x per week. The people are so good to me. They are friendly and always seem to do their best to make me happy. The food goes without saying - so fresh. I've never had a bad experience with the food or the service. 5 stars for sure! read more

Salata is a great spot for lunch, overall their ingredients are very fresh. The only things I wish they'd change is to not to be stingy on the ingredients, and more drink options. I do love tea though don't get me wrong. read more
