We started with the oysters, which I believe were from Wellfleet, and they were outstanding. They were meaty, fresh, and had no brine/salty taste at all. Even the bread with olive oil was memorable because it was perfectly salted and soo flavorful. For my entree, I had the chicken piccata with house‑made gnocchi--- simply divine. Truly one of the best gnocchis I've ever had! Wish there was more of them though. This was our first time trying the restaurant and it was SO good. Everything from the food, the wine, the service, it made for a fantastic experience. We'll definitely be back!

The staff was beyond friendly and the food was delicious. I had won a certificate in our school auction to use and the staff still gave us first rate treatment (not always what I've experienced from other places). The manager even came out to ask us about what school it was and to make sure everything was great. It truly made the night special. No offer to comp anything. Goes without saying the tip was more modest than my typical tip. I understand kitchen can get backed up and that end of summer staffing can be questionable. That doesn't make much sense -- if people want to share, especially for a tasting menu, it should be allowed.
