I went into Salon Beyond for the first time today and I will not be going to any other salon! I was in need of a good cut after not having it cut for months. Sarah took care of me and was amazing. She cut, blow dried and styled my hair exactly how I wanted it. This may even be the best cut I've ever had! The price was great as well. My hair was pretty long and needs a few inches taken off so the shampoo, cut and blow dry was $55 total. Such a good price! Sarah took my temperature before I entered the salon and wore PPE the entire time. All other stylists and clients were also wearing PPE. Took my mother there on an emergency situation due to her stylist no show that day across the street from this Salon . Upon arrival was told for Women root touch-up color it's $75 , I agreed on the prices and met a stylist Named Sarah who did the touch up for my mom , and then washed her hair and blowdryed . Upon exit asked how much she stated OH ! it's $75 for touch -up and $35 for blow-dry . Never have I ever gone to a Salon who do root- touch up color and not do the wash and blow dry with 2 different prices which were not mentioned before the service . beware they think people are stupid . This week is my 35th birthday and I have a Vegas trip to take on. However, I have neglected my hair for a long time. I've had bad experiences in the past and so I just have a lot of anxiety when finding a new stylist. By luck, I stumbled across Salon Beyond - who happens to be in MY NEIGHBRHOOD! - and decided to check out their reviews. I liked what I saw so I walked in , got to meet Rahima and booked her. Rahima is AMAZING!!!! I came into see her with a hot mess on my head lol. 9 months of no hair maintenance -dead ends, grey hairs galore, and faded burgundy. Sadly, we didn't take a before picture because I feel like we were both eager to get started. Let me just say that my hair is an ALL DAY JOB. It's really straight and REALLY THICK. I wanted a change of color because my grey hair comes a lot more frequently now. I showed Rahima a picture and explained that I didn't want to cut too much off, but I did want my hair to look and feel healthy again. She's so friendly and funny! The entire time I felt comfortable, taken care of and, even though it took 6hrs, l actually had fun being there. My hair feels and looks incredible! I'm not kidding, people! I can't stop touching it. Bad for making appointments -- especially if you're going to get something low-cost done like a haircut. I went yesterday as a walk-in customer for a haircut and was told they didn't have anyone available and was encouraged to set up an appointment for the next day, so I did. Come today, I got in at 4:30 for my appointment. I was told to wait and that Rahima (the owner/stylist) would be with me shortly. After 10 minutes of waiting, I talked to her and she said she'd be done in 10 more minutes. I was flabbergasted. They made me set-up an appointment yesterday, made me wait for 10 minutes today, and asked me to wait an additional 10 minutes?! My wait time would be longer than my haircut time?! That's bad business. I said thanks, and I walked out. Come to think of it, I was just a customer whose service would only cost $20. It just makes sense for them business-wise to cater more to other customers that would pay more -- like a couple hundred dollar Brazilian blowout, coloring, and everything. So if you're a customer who's gonna have a a few services done, then you should be fine. If you're only looking for a measly haircut, go somewhere else. read more

Sarah did a last minute appointment on my hair right before a wedding that I was a part of that weekend and did an awesome job. The salon itself is super accommodating especially given that I had wanted an early morning appointment and had only sent them a Yelp message the night before (they were really quick to respond). My original intent was to just get my hair toned to get rid of the brassiness, but loving my conversation with Sarah and seeing how great of a job she was doing, I ended up getting a bang trim and a blow out. The bang trim ended up being pretty much a full haircut as Sarah meticulously got rid of my fried ends, and worked on my layers in order to better frame my face. The final icing on the cake was the reasonable price. I could not have asked for a better experience! First time here. I loved it. Salon is clean and well organized. Rahima knows what she is doing and is a perfectionist. My hair had gotten too dark in front and light in the back so she suggested thin highlights in the front. They came out perfect and well blended. She even did a conditioning mask after.
