Decided to book a makeup appointment with Salon Creer after doing research and finding their makeup girl Elizabeth who posted beautiful looks on her IG. The reason I chose to book with her was because it seemed like her "signature look" was a smoked out liner look (no harsh liquid liner) with individual lashes and soft beautiful skin--mind you this is exactly what I was looking for so I was very excited. When I was in her chair I told her that I wanted that same look she seems to always post (showed her the posts too) and repeated the following just incase to be clear "No harsh liner--I like it smokey and brown color, no black. I also do not want a full lash strip, half lashes or individuals please and I also really love a super sultry and smoked out lower lash line". And I will start off by saying that the makeup looked great was very well done, she is a talented makeup artist, but I did not get what I asked for by any means. I left with a black sharp winged liner, a full lash strip and very untouched lower lash line (not smoked out). I went home and washed it off and re did my makeup with only 15 minutes of time since it was cutting close to my diner reservation. Great work but not what I had asked for. read more

Salon Creer truly goes above and beyond for their clients, no matter what! I was not only impressed by the results but also by the service provided. They managed to turn an unexpected "negative" experience into one of the best salon experiences of my life. I had an appointment Sunday morning to have my makeup done with Elizabeth for my friend's wedding. Upon arrival at the salon, Elizabeth was not present, and the salon staff were unable to reach her. It turned out that Elizabeth had experienced an extreme unexpected emergency. While waiting, Simon completely transformed my hair, free of charge. Even though Elizabeth had faced such a situation, she showed up and did an amazing job and for that I appreciate her. The dedication to the client that this team displays is beyond the standard. I went to get my birthday hair done and I was in for a pleasant surprise. They even surprised me with a cake after I was done getting my service done. Ladies , don't fall for the hype. I got a bad haircut here. And though it pains me to write a bad review for a local, small business salon. I'm doing it so more people are less intimidated to do the same. I came here with high expectations and left very disappointed. - My hair was "washed" with a shampoo that had no fragrance. No conditioner was used. - My long beautiful hair was butchered :( it is by far the worst haircut I've ever gotten. And the flattest blow dry. My hair was stuck to my head with zero volume. - The staff and owner were very nice and friendly. And when I contacted the owner , she tried to give me another appointment to fix it. Her availability was limited and didn't work with my schedule. She couldn't get me in sooner, and I had events lined up. - I was offered to come and get it cut by another stylist but after a bad haircut, who will trust a place for their hair to get even shorter :( - I went to my trusted place, she evened it out . But it cost me to lose all my length. I'm so disappointed. I'm also disappointed that Salon Creer didn't grant me a reimbursement/refund as I requested it. So Salon Creer, you need to do better !!! - oh and a helpful hint, I have been to multiple salons in many cities ( Glendale, Pasadena, Monrovia , Arcadia, etc) Armenian owned and American owned. I've been to countless nail and laser hair removal establishments over the years and wish I discovered Creer sooner. Nora did my Russian pedicure and she was very gentle, thorough and friendly. She also gave great tips on nail and heel care. On to laser, Creer uses the latest triple frequency laser technology which to my shock was completely pain free! Zero discomfort or pain in ALL areas. This is a long overdue post. My love story with salon Creer began by a chance encounter . September 2019 another salon over bleached my hair and it split almost from the root. My arm hairs needless to say were longer than what was left on my head . I was meeting a friend the day after this unfortunate event and I was devastated. While waiting for my friend Sam who was at the reception desk could not bite his tongue any longer and asked what happened to my hair. The water works began and a friendship was born . Amy is MAGNIFICENT she took the time to re assure me the disaster can be undone with time . She plugged in extensions from the root, nursed my hair back to life AND THE KICKER I still got to keep my blonde . My experience with this salon was far from fond. I don't often write reviews; I'm the few instances I do, I am either very fond or very very disappointed. I would like to premise and say that I came to Tatiana once before and she did a wonderful job. She took her time, paid attention to detail and provided me with the most incredible manicure. However, this second time around was short of a disaster. I had an appointment at 12 pm on Thursday for a mani/pedi with Tatiana. I arrived at 11:55 and waited, naturally understanding that she was finishing up with a client. She finished up with her client at 12:32 and was in such a panic to get started. She rushed through doing my nails and cut me in so many places. She did not care for quality of work but rather that she was running behind. She finished my manicure at 1:10 She then moved on to my pedicure which barely took 20 minutes. She had me soak my feet for less than a minute, and did a sloppy callus removal, just to show that one was down. She then used the electric nail drill to clean up my cuticles and rushed so much so that she cut me in so many places and caused an infection. Additionally, I had notified her that I had ingrown skin and she used the only tool which they seem to have, a little wooden stick, to try to push the skin out and instead pushed it further in. I understand that clients running late is out of your control but when you see you are running late on time, communicate that with your next client. It is not fair to come to a pampering session and be met with rush and sloppiness. It is also not fair to the client to be paying for a service and not receiving it in full. Also I requested for a regular manicure and was told that that it would take a full day to dry and that I should not wear socks. Im quite sure that this is inaccurate, as noted by own experiences with regular polish. Please do not put blame for lack of effort on your client. I am sharing my experience just as an fyi for future customers. To each their own. read more

I am here once a week for my reoccurring appointment with the hair god himself simon creer. This man has changed my hair for the better. I never have to worry about my hair looking bad. His blow drys last me a whole week and I have platinum blonde hair. I love this place so much. The front desk receptionst vana is the sweetest person you'll encounter. She always has the biggest smile on her face and will answer all my booking questions. I also get my nails and brows done here as well. For my gel mani I see tatiana and gel pedi with her too. She is so detailed and her work is phenomenal. Please, please do not go here to get your nails done. I went in hopeful and left with the worst manicure I've ever had and multiple cuts on the cuticles of *every single finger* that took over a week to heal. It was so bad that ClassPass refunded all my credits which never happens. My tech was very nice but whole place seemed highly disorganized, not very clean, extremely dated, and did not seem to care about quality. I booked an appt for Apres X gel extensions and was so excited to get them. The salon barely had any Apres tips in stock especially in shorter or natural shapes. My tech ended up using medium tips & cutting them down shorter, which I later learned is a BIG no no as the tips can split. Absolutely none of the products they used besides the tips were Apres X, they just had cheaper substitutes, which is pretty misleading if you're going to call it an Apres X manicure. My cuticles were shredded and bleeding. I asked for a French manicure and the girl used one coat of a sheer polish (you could see my natural nails under the tips, it was so so so bad) then painted on a white rectangle and told me it was her first time ever doing a French manicure. I felt bad for her and as the salon does not have great lighting, I thought at first my nails were mediocre & not terrible. I VERY stupidly smiled and tipped, AND they had the nerve to upcharge me $20 for the tech's first ever French manicure. When I got home and saw the results in daylight, and my poor cut up cuticles, I was pretty horrified. I reached out to the salon three times via email and included photos before posting this review. I never received a response. I think the photos will speak for themselves. My cuticles were as painful as they looked. read more

i am happy with my hair but VERY unhappy with the lack of transparency with their pricing. I was quoted $250, over the phone and through email. It wasn't until after she began work on my hair that she said it would be slightly more because i had thicker hair. when I was done my total was $385 which is not a little increase but huge.... I chose this place because of their initial quote after calling around several places. The extra $135 I was not expecting to pay left a very bad impression. I will not be retuning. It is beaten switch to quote a person one number and up charge them after the work has been completed and it is too late. Bad business model. read more

I love this place. It's heaven for girls!! I've been coming to this salon for over a year and they never disappoint me. I get all my appointments done here. I get facials, nails and hair here. Honestly I've never seen such customer service as at Creer. Last week I took off my tape-in extensions they were taken out very careful with no damage to my hair. I also did a Russian treatment right after which is on special this month. My hair is in the best condition right now and I will be coming back next week to do another treatment. Most professional salon I have stepped foot in. From their honesty to their service. I came in a couple weeks ago to get glammed up for a wedding! its a one stop shop. Got my gel mani and pedi done in the morning with Diana. Then moved to the chair to do my hair with Rubina and got my makeup done with Mila right after. All I needed was my dress with me and I was good to go! This is the only salon I've been to that make you feel like family. Honestly, reviews are useless. You have to walk in and see for yourself. Everyone on the internet can talk up a storm and make up situations that didn't even occur. I bet 99.9% of these reviews cannot even name the stylist they had "a bad experience with" grow up.
