Had my hair done here a while ago, and was not 100% satisfied my goal was not achieved on color service. The stylist left one side of head with a thick streak and my blonde was not toned properly it looked to brassy on me (Orange/yellow tone) the customer service was good. I went in June 1st for a hair appointment with Benny, my hair did not come out close to what I was looking for it came out worst that what I had before when he was done he said it himself he didn't like the color and asked someone else in he salon about depositing another color he didn't he said once dried it would look better he dried some of it and it it was the same i have asked him for a refund half of what I payed which was $220 he refuses to he he offered to try and fix it by toning but I have found someone to fix it who is charging me 260$ for everything that has to be done to get my hair fixed according to him now he tells me he doesn't do refunds but never told me before the service! so disappointing now I have to walk around with 4 colors in my hair till I have them fix it!!! read more

I started here August 2015, and I've been about 4 times, for touch ups and trims and what not. Prior to switching over to Salon Madrid, I was going to Tustin to get my hairs did by a friend. She took care of my hair for probably 2 ish years. And then, I found Mayra. I call her The Magician. She is literally THAT good. I'd wanted purple locks, for forever. I mean violently violet. Like sunset purple. Mayra totally delivered. I explained what I wanted, and she not only gave me amazing hair, she is as sweet and adorable as she is talented. She works to give you what you want, not what she thinks you should have. If it can be done, she can make it happen. I am usually in the salon for 5 hours (lifting my color takes a long time), but she keeps me entertained and is always so genuinely lovely. Bonus: she does freelance work and her make up is always flawless. It's total girl time when I go visit. Currently, my hair ranges from Cherry cola down to fuchsia. It's ombre'd and baliaged, so the colors blend wonderfully. I wear my hair curled (because I can't use a lot of product). Mayra went above by mixing my own touch up conditioner for at-home use, and then by switching back and forth between blue-violet and red-violet, so my color is never dull. Never dull. I went almost full purple just before Christmas, and the next day I went out, I handed out 10 of her cards, and got 4 compliments on how amazing the color was. That's the kind of amazing result you can expect from her. If you're looking for a stylist with the magic - Mayra is definitely your girl. I promise, once you work with her, you will totally never need anyone else. Not to mention, the salon itself is really upscale, but their prices are so reasonable, you feel like you're ripping them off. The Salon is clean, relaxing and you can't beat a nice glass of red wine while getting your hair done. Even better, Mayra was wonderful. She listened to what I wanted and then helped me figure out a way to get what I wanted while helping to repair my hair. I have very fine hair and the way I was having it colored before was not the best for it's health. She help me get a great hair cut, a color that I love and styled it super cute! Called the salon today at 10:22 to follow up on a previous conversation with the manager. The "gentleman" who answered the phone sounded absolutely dispassionate and aloof. When I asked for an email address to speak with the owner about my issue he said no, and when I asked for his name he hung up on me. Crystal has been doing my hair for the past year. She is fantastic!!! I love the salon and the charm of the old historic mansion it is in. It is off a busy street, but it is very relaxing inside. I have been going to Mischa for my hair cuts colors and redos for almost 3 years. I love the way she colors my hair but never sacrifices the health. I have followed her to many of salons but I love this place the most. The ambiance is chic, stylish and comfortable all in one.
