I have been coming here for almost 2 years and am really happy with my haircuts. Unlike other reviewers, I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes OR had my appt cancelled. (my appts are ALWAYS on Saturday because of my work sched) Lindsay is who I always make my appointments with, she's really professional and she takes her time with my hair, always very thorough and never rushed. Came here because this was the only place that would accept walk-ins which was great. I called serval other salons but they wouldn't take me in. I Also wanted it to try based on excellent reviews on yelp. For my visit All I needed was a trim because I plan to donate my hair during the summer. So once I stepped into the salon, the receptionist introduced me to my stylist Mandy she was kind super gentle with my hair which was a plus. After my trim she recommended the wet brush, it's good for thin hair like mine. Overall stylist was awesome but not worth the money they're charging for a basic trim and the wet brush. The brush is cheaper on Amazon. $62 spent not worth it. read more

She takes my hair and makes it magical. The stylist are well educated, polite and offer the outmost services to clients. Mario Castillo has been my stylist for over two years and after bouncing from chair to chair--I am happy to say that I have found THE ONE (stylist that is). I came to Mario close to two years ago with a head of long VERY dark brown (almost black) hair and I asked him to do the impossible...make me a nice balayage brunette/blonde (bronde). Not only did Mario achieve what other stylist would often tell me was impossible, but he did so while preserving the integrity of my hair! Mario is passionate for his craft and this is seen in the results. He educates his clients on what the best products are to preserve the health and integrity of your hair. I think I might just have found a new hair stylist. I'm usually very hesitant to allow girls to cut my hair because I just have this preconceived notion that they aren't that great with clippers. The times I have allowed women to cut my hair with the clippers I haven't been completely satisfied. It seems like they're more comfortable cutting with scissors, but I sometimes want that closer cut. This time I was wrong! Im happy to be wrong this time though. Evelyn sure knows her way around a guy's hair. She was able to give me a great cut with the clippers, and conveniently kept asking if I would want to go shorter before she continued to cut. Then she finished off with a nice scissor cut. She was also very insightful about what hairstyles I can do with my cut, gave me a few suggestions that will definitely give me more options when I want to fix my hair. Lastly, she was just fantastic to talk to. I'm glad Relinis is closer to home than my usual place, and much more reasonably priced. The staff made me feel very comfortable and taken care of, oh and the salon itself is top notch. I think it's one of the better and nicer looking salons in Downey. Shout out to Rene, the main man with the game plan, it was pleasant that he came over to say hello and encourage me to drop in more often. Ill surely be back again. read more

I had the pleasure of meeting Lynn today for the first time. She is very knowledgable. After a brief consultation she recommended a treatment based on my skin needs. I received a Vitamin C facial and a moisturizing mask. The vitamin C treatment was warm. I had an ingrown pimple that had reduced in size but was still noticeable. She was able to extract it. Following extractions she proceeded with a moisturizer mask that had a cooling effect. Additionally I was able to add microdermabrasion for $10 more to the cost of my facial. I also got a hand treatment. She recommended facial products based on my skin needs but was not pushy for me to purchase them. Instead she said "do your research". Based on my age she recommended that I get a facial every three months. I am looking forward to going back for a follow up facial and to get sugaring. I highly recommended Lynn for your skin needs. read more
