I'm afraid I have to downgrade my original rating. Rene does amazing hair - Perfect every time - once you finally get into his chair. The customer service, however, from start to end in the salon is terrible. They don't call to remind you of an appointment. They double book. They cancel on a whim without explanation or offer to squeeze you in ASAP. with a month to 6 week wait to see Rene, it is unacceptable. And the front desk is unfriendly, people constantly interrupt Rene with questions that a salon manager or receptionist should be able to answer. The worst part, regardless of how early you get there, expect to wait at least an hour. I've waited a couple of hours. You WILL spend a big chunk of your day waiting. All for a haircut. If you want more, expect to wait longer. The later your appointment is in the day, the more time you will wait grows exponentially. I LOVE Rene. I love the magic he performs with my hair. But a lot of these issues are management issues that should have easy solutions for a service business. I'm sad to say I won't be back. read more

Worst experience of my life ever. I literally just spend $165 for a really bad service. I went for a retouch of my hair and came out almost bald. My hair started falling off in big pieces of ball. She didn't even bleached the sides of my hair near my ears they're still black spots! Now my hair looks like a donkey just bite it! You can see the pictures. Also she never aware me that my hair would fall of in any way. I shouldn't even had paid for this TERRIBLE service! If there was a no star I would give them that! I've had really bad experiences with people who would cut my hair to whom I got recommended by friends. I was really upset and disappointed the last time I got a hair cut since I decided to go short, the stylist did a horrible job so I decided to let my hair grow a bit and then find a good stylist to fix it. Because of my horrible experiences it was a bit hard for me to trust someone to cut my hair, I mean its really hard to find that Perfect Stylist that you can just have them work their magic on you and leave you happy and looking gorgeous... And that was who I was looking for.. The One!!! Well after putting my hair in the hands of horrible stylist I finally found THE ONE!!! I got recommended yet again by another of my friends, she said call this number and get your hair done by Rene. So before I called I obviously did my research googled their hair salon and came on Yelp to read their reviews, well the reviews really helped and found out Rene was the owner of the Salon and by reading some reviews I thought I was going to wait FOREVER to get an appointment with him. So when I went on their website I actually decided to shoot them an email with my request and a small explanation on what I needed to get done. To my surprise I got a phone call right away not from the receptionist but from Rene himself, after I explained to him what I was looking for he had his receptionist call me back to set up an appointment which was only a few days away. I am happy to say I found THE ONE, the service was amazing, staff was very friendly and courteous, Rene's assistant was great when he showed me around the Salon and washed my hair. And when I finally met Rene it was like a match made in heaven. Amazing and very talented stylist, very honest by telling me what would work on me and what wouldnt. So I said "work your magic" and he did!!! I highly recommend this Salon, its huge they offer so many services. My friend recommended I go here to de-virginize my bikini area, otherwise known as ripping my fur patch. I wasn't that nervous, oddly enough. My appointment was with Lynn, the co-owner of the salon. I thought I had to take off my undies, but I was told to keep it on. Whatever shape undies you have on, will dictate how your bikini wax will look, so don't wear your granny panties! You'll also want to go with at least an inch-worth of 'growth'; makes it easier for them to rip off down to the roots! FFFFttt, ffffTTTT, FFFFttt! Not too painful at all, except for the tweezing! Yowchorama! She gets at all of your ingrown hairs caused from shaving. The only thing I wasn't too crazy about was that the top part of my new patch 'do' was slightly slanted, like Gumby, and I had to do my own 'haircut' at home (if ya know what I mean ;)). Lynn doesn't do the 'porn star' wax, which involved removing fur from your rear-end exit area, but other 'stylists' there do. Wonder if they bleach, too? It was aw-right. Never had a haircut here, but my friend does and her hair always looks great! read more

I've been coming to Relini for about 3 years now and as long as Tirzah is here for all my waxing needs I will be a very happy continuous customer! She is thorough, clean and very detailed. She stands 100% behind her treatments, procedures and products and has a very swift and professional hand that allows for a quick and less painful process compared to other hair removal specialists and Trust, I've been to my fare share of bad ones. She has a unique way of waxing. She doesn't use paper, but rather the wax itself. It's never too hot and she removes small strips at a time to ensure less irritation. At the end of the procedure she uses a special mud treatment that cools and calms the skin and prevents irritation and in-grown hairs and it even has a minty freshness to it! I always feel like I've been sitting on a mint leaf when I leave the studio! I went here a few months ago after a horrifying incident at a fantastic Sam's. My bangs had grown out and I needed them to be restyled but the stylist royally ruined them! There were no cute wisps of hair on the side, but rather a blunt cut that awkwardly poufed out off the side of my head. I went immediately to relini, with no warning, and Guadalupe saw me within 10 mins. She completely fixed my bangs, as best she could, so that the awkwardness was masked underneath the rest of my hair and I actually had nice face framing layers. First time here, found Salon Relini here on yelp. So I needed a trim and decided to give it a try based on the good reviews. I called to see if they take walk-ins or if an appointment is necessary. Luckily, I was able to get an appointment 30 minutes before. I get there and I see Jaclyn, who will be styling my hair. To be honest, I just wanted a trim but once I sat down and she began to give me ideas of what I would like along with a trim I changed my mind. I went ahead an got a change of look. I got lucky! Been to Relini for almost a year now. I must confess.....I cheated and went to another salon to see if I could find a cheaper cut. Well....it is true with what people say...you get what you pay for and the difference wasn't much. When I went to another salon my layers were CHOPPY!!! It looked like I gave a 5 year old scissors to cut my hair. Disaster! My experience with Natalie has been great. She layers my hair so I would get a little volume, which I need cause I have straight and flat hair. When I use a straightner my layers blend in very nice. I haven't tried any coloring or any other salon services. But I will definitely not cheat again! Lessoned learned. :) The salon has other services which I have not tried. Maybe I will start coloring my hair once I start seeing gray hair. :) read more

I have been to relini for a couple years now, and before that I tried lots of places but was never absolutely happy, the girls at relini have been great! Always greeted with a smile and I have never had an issue with a scheduled appointment My hair always gets well cut, and it lasts for several months! No one AND I MEAN NO ONE other than Lynn is allowed to do my eyebrows, I have always has very sensitive skin and relini has been the only place that I can go to and I still look human after getting waxed, most of the time I had to go straight home and lock myself up after a waxing because of the irritation, Lynn's hand and her high quality products have change that :) it is quality care and is worth what you pay for it! read more

If you want amazing hair you need to go see Paola! She's been doing my hair for over 3yrs and I've never been disappointed she can do it all. I've had her cut a short textured bob to letting it grow out to a blunt even length, to cutting forward textured bangs, to making them grow at nicely. Color she had kept it a nice blue black, to slowly transitioning it to more blonde. I can trust her with anything! Any new ideas I come up with she can do it, and if she can't do it in one sitting she makes it happen in a few but I'm always enjoying the journey and all the different looks. All my life I've been a serial salon hopper, if I wasn't 100% happy with the cut or color, I never went back. That is, until I met Stephanie G! I went blonde 2 years ago and I was doing it at home, but I've been going to her for more than a year now and always left happy with the results. She specializes in blonding, and I get an occasional cut from her. I have stubborn black moderately coarse asian hair and it take a little bit longer for the lightener to lift my hair, but my hair never feels dry.
