A month ago, my family and I came to Saloon 151 and we were all very pleased with the service, drinks, food, and live music. I definitely cannot wait to come back and I highly recommend this place to anyone who is in the West Chester area!

Nice spot in west Chester to grab a Guinness! The drinks are good, especially the orange crush, but $13 is a little pricey. The Guinness was amazing. Genuinely a great Guiness!! Happy we were able to swing by!

We sat outside and really enjoyed our time! The bar was able to make me a pregnancy-safe mojito and it was so refreshing. We started our meal with mild boneless wings which were a great portion, big pieces and the sauce was so good. I had mahi tacos with sweet potato fries on the side they were also so good and the tacos were stuffed basically overflowing with delicious toppings. Our server Michaela was amazing. She went above and beyond with making sure we had a great time. Our food came out so fast. We had someone smoking right next to our table and she was so kind asking him if he would go around the corner so we could enjoy our time. We really appreciated that!

This place was warm and inviting. Perfect cozy place for a chilly fall night. Visited on a Saturday and needless to say it was very busy. Nice crowd young and old. Service was impeccable tonight (young blonde very very nice). We started with fried pickles 9/10. Loved the choice of IPAs and their old fashioned was nice and STRONG! Food was ok 7/10 we had a burger and pizza. We were excited to get the trifecta dessert. Funnel cake fries were pretty good but pass on the fried cheesecake. Def would return :)

Third time I've gone there. Although the chicken dish (chicken breast, sauteed spinach, crab imperial, and sauce with sides of vegetables) was pretty darn good, my waitress made what I would have to say is THE WORST John Daly I've ever had, then when she asked if I wanted another and I said maybe in a bit, she made me another crappy one. I'll go back but stick to draft beer and the like.

We got a cheesesteak with fried onions, sauteed mushrooms and provolone cheese. The roll was substandard but we cover that in the video. The meat was good but there was not much of it. The fried onions and sauteed mushrooms were very tasty but took over the cheesesteak. Is this a not enough meat or too many fried onions and mushrooms problem? I think it's not enough meat. With all of that said, it's not a bad bar cheesesteak. Jill was amazing.

The worst Cuban Sandwich I have ever had, with that being said beer was ice cold and it is cool atmosphere especially for games.

Great wings and location in downtown West Chester. Good service and plenty of space around bar.

We came to salon to watch a game- we politely asked the bartenders and servers to change the tv and they basically ignored us.

The ones we had in Hawaii had a spicy kick at the end. These were comparably good. One flavor all around. No spicy after kick. The Kalua Pork and Cabbage was spicier than what we had at Hawaii. It actually tasted better. They added ginger and it was spicy. I liked the Taiwanese cabbage better than what we had in Hawaii, which was regular cabbage. The ribeye steak ramen was good as well. It makes me want to try the rib eye entree. I like the black pepper flavor. I took the steak out as soon as it served, so it would not cook anymore in the broth. I was impressed that they made it medium rare. The chicken broth was not too salty, which it can be in other places, so I was pleased that it wasn't. The menma bamboo was crunchy. Many places have it too soft. The black seaweed/wood ear like topping was also crunchy. The wavy ramen noodles were perfectly QQ or all dente. There were two doors to open at the entrance. Handicap accessible. No steps. Two gender neutral restrooms. Spacious. Handicap accessible. We found street parking right out front. We came at 7 PM on a Monday after the dinner rush. Our server was very attentive. He also answered all my questions. I asked it they were Pulehu Ribs. When he did not know, he went to ask his colleague. I would come back for the same dishes, get a bigger order of the short ribs, and try the garlic shrimp. Definitely a new staple for us. Before going to Hawaii, we never had Hawaiian food before. This was a good way to revisit our vacation!

We definitely over-ordered but told plenty home for leftovers. For appetizers we ordered the pork belly bao buns and the Thai salad with shrimp. These are more entree size so be forewarned. The bao buns came in a taco server and had three buns filled with plenty of pork and a spicy aioli. The Thai salad came with 5 nicely charred shrimp and a Napa salad. This ate a little dry-I would have appreciated a bit more dressing- but I can see where more dressing might have made this a bit soggy. We would definitely order these again For entrees, we tried the burger and the chicken pot pie. The burger was a double patty with cheese, pickled onion, and a mayo based sauce on a sesame bun. I have to say I was happy to see that they opted out of the usual sad lettuce and anemic tomato that is typical of early spring. I think it was lacking some salt as it was missing something but overall was ok and served with crispy shoestring fries. The pot pie was topped with some puffed pastry and had a nice velvety sauce with hints of tarragon. Very nice. My dining partner finished my burger and took most of the pot pie and the side salad that came with it home. Even though my dining partner couldn't finish his regular entree, he wanted dessert. After looking at the choices the server suggested the seasonal dessert which was beignets with whipped cream, chocolate and strawberries. I was reticent but was happy with the choice because the chocolate dipping sauce (of which there was plenty ) was DELICIOUS! The beignets were fried puff pastry or croissant dough that one dipped in the warm chocolate fudge-y ganache and/or whipped cream. I ordered coffee which paired well with the dessert and it was delightfully fresh. Service was good, friendly and attentive. Decor is industrial farmhouse. Clientele consists of workers from the local courthouse up to about 6 pm when we saw families starting to file in. Nice place, good food, good value.

We were finally able to stop in after a movie and ordered few items for takeout. There's also indoor dining available, but the seats are limited. The restaurant itself feels very unique, comfortable and there's definitely a hint of history showing. What we ordered: -Beef Patty (Delicious, very fresh and flavorful) -Vegetable Patty (Delicious, very fresh and flavorful. The taste reminds me very much of a Grandma's home cooked Chicken potpie) -Jerk Chicken platter (Very good and delicious. With the exception of cabbage, it had no flavor, could use some salt and pepper at least) -Curry Chicken platter (Very good and delicious, same issue with the cabbage) Keep in mind the patty's can take up to 30 minutes to make and cook, I didn't mind it they are well worth the wait. a MUST HAVE. Both of the platters comes with Rice or Rice and beans. We will definitely be back.

The bread looks like it was from the grocery, but in tastes delicious. I took home about half of my rice and beans. When I go back here again, I will have the same thing. My husband went in for the food and said that the place was spotless. The owners were very careful about handing everything properly.
