We called to let you know that there was nothing included to eat the salad with and no napkins in the order. Instead of apologizing for the inconvenience, the person on the phone immediately became defensive and started saying things like, "First of all, calm down," while trying to lecture us on how to speak. They also repeatedly claimed that they could not find our order and said, "We don't have an order like that," rather than trying to resolve the issue. I can provide the receipt number, order number, and all transaction details, so claiming that the order does not exist is simply not an acceptable response. A professional business should first apologize, verify the order information, and then work toward a solution. Either your company is cutting costs by not providing basic items such as napkins and utensils, or there is a serious issue with quality control. Unfortunately, this is not the first time this has happened. A customer should not have to call and argue just to receive the basic items that should come with a food order. The lack of accountability and poor customer service are just as disappointing as the missing items.

For being a last minute pick, Domenicos on the Lake exceeded our expectations and proved to be a standout Italian restaurant in Mission Viejo.

This is crazy as the restaurant was not busy at all, and only had roughly 5 tables or so occupied in the whole place! We kept having to flag the waiter down, and then he would go missing again. The food was good, however the experience overall was very poor. Bummer for a place so close to home as we live nearby.

My favorites were definitely the beef satay which was cool to perfection and the pad Thai - very well done - and I've been eating at different Thai places since I was a teenager! The noodles were on point with the texture, the flavor was saturated throughout every bite, so yummy! I did not try the pad see ew but it looked really good. Love the quantity given and the high quality of the food. Our meals fed three very hungry JV soccer players and four famished parents. Our waitress/server was very attentive, friendly, and smiling with a welcoming air that made us feel like we were eating at her home. Loved it and we are definitely returning! Thanks Thai Garden!

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Sals Pizzeria. Despite receiving a notification that my pizza was ready, I arrived only to be told it would take another 15 minutes. When I finally got the pizza, it was a colossal disappointment - burnt to a crisp, the cheese was unrecognizable, and the dough was ridiculously chewy. Definitely not returning. To add insult to injury, my son, who usually eats everything, refused to touch the pizza from Sals Pizzeria. That speaks volumes about the dismal quality of the food. Truly the best pizza place in all of Orange County and most definitely in Foothill Ranch. My parents came into town so we decided to try this local pizzeria. We ordered several slices including the Grandma Cheese, NY-style Hawaiian, Grandma Breadcrumbs & Onions, and NY-style Meat Lovers. We also ordered the antipasti salad and garlic knots. I have enjoyed pizza all over North America, as well as in Rome, Venice, and Naples. San Francisco's Golden Boy Pizza is the best pizza in this hemisphere. Not foo far behind Golden Boy's Sicicilian-style slices is the "Grandma" pizza at Sal's. I cannot pinpoint what in particular elevates this pizza's flavor over Sal's standard hand tossed pizzas, but the grandma is one of those vaunted food items that I always think about when I am hungry. Not sure what jeff s is talking about. The price of a regular slice of cheese pizza went up a quarter. Lunch special is $8.75 plus tax which comes to $9.43 where I went to school, not $11. But even if it were $11, it would still be cheaper than McDonalds. Matt d you and sal are doing a great job. Those of us from back east taste the quality, and are willing to spend the other 25 cents. If I'm looking for a bargain, I will call taco bell. Prices are fair, food is exceptional. Keep up the good work. read more

Best pizza in Orange County/Foothill Ranch, CA! I've had a bunch of great pizzas at Sal's: their BBQ Chicken NY Pizza, Grandma Pie, Spicy Siciliano Sicilian Pizza, as well as other Italian Food items like garlic knots with their marinara sauce that I found out they make from scratch in house. Everyone was very nice and friendly. In fact, the owner was there making pizzas. It's that kind of place. Inside is very cool. Big tables for groups, arcade games, cool music, TVs, etc. Fun and unique vibe. Looks like they have live music sometimes but not when we went. We lucked out and got 50% off Wednesday specials! Highly recommend this place!

During our dinner, we saw a man (presumably an owner of sorts) saying hi to customers. I assume they were returning as they seemed to remember each other. I have given public talks on the topic of pizza. I'm a micro pizza expert. This pizza is just ok. First of all, it's Napolitan-style, which I think of all the styles is one of the weakest, though it's also one of the most popular. The char on the bottom of the crust wasn't the sort of deliberate, tasty char you get from new haven-style pizza. This char had a bit of bitterness that overwhelmed some bites. It was good, but not great. The greek salad I ordered was WAY overdressed -- just soaking in too much dressing. I wish I had thought to ask for the dressing on the side because the salad was nearly inedible because of how heavily it was dressed. It was a delicious salad, though. With oven-roasted peppers and lots of other goodies you don't find in lesser greek salads. It would have been amazing with less dressing.
