Nice place, as you first walk in, you are first greeted and seated either bar or table, based on preference. Area has dim lighting, which game a nice ambiance. I asked for a garlic aioli for my truffle fries, and he brought out a full sampler of house-made sauces: truffle aioli, a honey mustard-style aioli, and ketchup, all plated beautifully. Above and beyond! Food-wise, everything hit the mark. My Wagyu burger was juicy, tender, and perfectly cooked medium--definitely lived up to the hype. The truffle fries didn't have a strong truffle flavor, but they were still crisp and satisfying. My boyfriend ordered the short rib, which was melt-in-your-mouth tender, paired with creamy mashed potatoes that balanced it out perfectly. I started with a drink called "Sunset in Bangkok" made with mushroom lemongrass, Belle Isle Moonshine, chili liqueur, curry cordial, coconut water and fresh lime and lemon. It's a very intimate setting, great for a date nights or food and drinks with a small group of friends. Make a reservation, it does get packed. The seating at the bar is first come first serve. It is a speakeasy so the door is hidden, don't get it confused with the upstairs restaurant. Their cocktails are perfectly balanced and there's something on the menu for every taste bud.
