They have a long list of bourbon to choose from. The food list is ok. However, I order the shrimp and grits, they were off the hook. It was made to perfection. This has always always been my go to bar and dinner place!!! But it is becoming not so great. I have had a few dinners that were terrible, the bartenders change out non-stop(evidently not a great place to work). The only time I get great service is when Manager Amed is there. This week I took 2 co-workers and how embarrassing!!! poor service,, no follow-up. Oysters rockefeller were no where close to the standard we once had here. Please - owners - visit more, treat your staff right and stop cutting food corners like using canned jalapeños on the crispy rice salmon - it was so much better with the fresh !!!! Great outside patio and great location. The patio has fans that keep a nice breeze which is very nice on our 95 degree day. Our waiter was very attentive and pleasant. The food came out fast. Had lunch at the Salt Factory Pub. The restaurant is very well decorated and liked the ambiance. The food overall was really good we got the Italian pizza and the London broil. I wasn't a fan of the onion rings but the rest was good. Also I asked for the London broil to be medium rare but came out very rare. The Italian pizza was really good! Diana was just amazing. Answered all of our questions for gluten free. And yes they do have a gluten free bun! Patio is so impressive because we encountered zero bugs even though we had lemon and limes for our water and tea. That is just beyond amazing for a restaurant that everyone overlooks. Our first time at this restaurant was a great experience! We started with their pork tacos - YUM. For drinks, my husband had their peach old fashioned and I tried the espresso martini. The martini was a tad on the expensive side, but both were so good and smooth! For our mains, my husband got their lamb Shepard's pie, and I got the London broil. We really enjoyed our food and the portions were more than enough for the both of us - my husband left stuffed and I took leftovers. The server was amazing. My friend was in from Texas. We asked for the fried goat cheese appetizer. He apologized stating they were waiting on more goat cheese to come in because it had been a huge hit with the patrons. He said we could have it next time. When she told him she was from Texas and it would be a little bit before she'd be back. He surprised up with the fried goat cheese! He managed to get the team to make some from the charcuterie supplies!! I will be making the trip there on a regular basis with my son and other friends. Fish and chips were amazing and the pizza was yummy. I grew up in upstate NY where there are fish fries every Friday and an abundance of family owned Italian restaurants that are incredible. Nice place. Attractive restaurant, inside and out. Service is excellent. Wife and I were undecided, so we ordered a couple things to try. Server split the fish and chips without us asking. That dish was one of the best examples of fish and chips I've ever had. We Also ordered Shepard's pie. Looked good, but lacked the robust flavor we expected this lamb dish to have. Their menu had several other great options. We chose these for more a sampling of their food flavors. I would definitely stop here again. I'd likely some of the other choices. I came here alone 6pm on a Saturday (yes sad, family still away for summer vacation). Started with a Duvel Single draft. Delicious. Then ordered 2 appetizers, because with a 90 degree weather, no way I am eating an entree. Had the Salmon tostadas. 10/10. Then the Salmon Crispy rice. 11/10 ( yes 11 out of 10). We had a party of 4 at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, 6/28/22. It was the night of the Backstreet Boys concert, so it was packed and they were understaffed. Hopefully they'll check the concert schedule at Ameris Bank Amphitheater so they'll be better prepared next time! Plenty of free parking. They have inside seating and an outdoor patio. Very casual, but could be fun for a date. The seating inside is a little weird though. We sat at a table in the middle of the restaurant and there was a clear divider in between so that another party could sit on the other side, so we made awkward eye contact with the people on the other side. That specific booth wouldn't be good for a date. Here's what I had: - Butternut Squash Ravioli ($13.95): This was the star. Super good and flavorful. - Spicy Salmon Crispy Rice ($12.95): Basically no flavor. I don't recommend. - F&H Burger ($15.95): Very good! Our waitress said it was big enough for my friend and I to split, so we did. Between that and the appetizers, it was enough! The fries were nice and crunchy. - Mission Lychee ($14): Not worth it. The drink tastes fine, but it was like 4 sips for $14. I wouldn't get it again. Overall, the food was pretty good. The food wasn't very impressive. The crispy fish tacos come with a slaw and chipotle sauce which were good. Tortilla shells were crispy, like a chip, but I think considering fish is already fried, it probably would be better on a regular, warmed corn/flour tortilla. This is personal preference. Fries were 3/4 stale/a quarter crispy - found this strange because most people got a side of fries. Service was good, no major complaints. We asked the host if we could have a table near the rear of the restaurant to avoid being near the door. It was 50° and every time the door opened a sharp breeze went through the front tables. He said he couldn't even though there were 4 free tables in the back of the restaurant. After he seated us at the table close to the door, I asked again, seeing no one was being seated at the rear of the restaurant. He said no again, and didn't even consider accommodating us. My wife and I ate here Memorial Day evening. We arrived much closer to closing time than we normally like to, but the staff were all gracious and welcoming. We had the butternut squash ravioli, and it was fantastic. We both ordered the shepherd's pie, and both really enjoyed it. Because of the addition of the rosemary demi and because of the cut of the lamb, I thought it tasted very similarly to a pot roast. For our entrees, he had the shrimp and grits and really enjoyed the flavor combination and spice. I had the London broil with a side of cheesy potatoes and onion rings. It was certainly very carb heavy, but a very rich and hearty meal. The broil was cooked perfectly and the sides were superb. Our waiter was very attentive and did a wonderful job. I think the Salt Factory is a great restaurant! I love the food, service and decor. I've come here for lunch a couple times and made reservations both times. It was a very easy process and our table was ready to go when we got there. I've tried the Louisiana egg rolls as an appetizer and they were delicious. It comes as two egg rolls, each cut in half. The She Crab soup is delicious and the portion size is just perfect. I've had the Orange glazed Salmon with mashed potatoes which was also very good both times.
