This was our first time eating here, and we were a bit disappointed, even though atmosphere/interior and service were great. We ordered the Chicken Laredo, but the chicken was so very chewy that I didn't even wanna eat it all. I'm assuming the chicken was overcooked. The Chocolate Chocolate Cake was extremely dry. We paid $111.14 (not including the tip). This was highly disappointing because it was a special evening for us, and we did not wanna ruin it by complaining. This place is truly amazing. Some of the best customer service I've ever experienced. Management is very respondent. I haven't even gotten to the food yet. I ordered the 8 oz sirloin medium rare with asparagus, baked sweet potatoes and salad. My steak was prepared and seasoned to perfection and absolutely melted in my mouth. I received outstanding service by the waitstaff as do other patrons around me. They all had a "here to serve mentality". My waitress Karessa, was outstanding. My first review without pictures and for that I am sorry. But all of it was awesome! My friends and I meet each month and decided on Saltgrass thinking of steaks, but all 4 of us had chicken. We had Chicken Laredo, Chicken New Orleans and two had Chicken fried chicken. Everyone raved how delicious the food was and really enjoyed their meals. But the best part was Victor our waiter! Yesterday I went to the Saltgrass Steak house in Tulsa and had a meal that was Free because I bought a $25 card 4 years ago that got me a Free $25 steak meal after I log into the account and then I get a Free $25 meal every year on my Birthday just for being a member of this club. It was the best $25 I've ever spent and I highly recommend anybody that goes there Buy the Card. I have been to a few of these. Pretty consistent. Order the sirloin med rare. Cooked to perfection and very tender. Hotel gave me a free app coupon so I tried the fries mushrooms. My first time at a Saltgrass. Me and my husband finally made a point to stop in tonight. I give it almost 4 stars. The drinks were weak. I had two (one was the Texas tea) and felt nothing. Food wise I ordered the stuffed bbq shrimp. Really good! But I expected the shrimp to be bigger than what they were. Still good though. My husband had the Ribeye and liked it. I had a bite of his too and thought it was pretty good. All in all a good steakhouse. We'll be back and I'll try the fillet next time. read more

My husband and I ate here for lunch today and this place was just awesome! The servers were wonderful and the atmosphere was so fun and relaxed. I ordered a Riesling with my 6oz sirloin steak with fries. He ordered an 8oz sirloin with a baked potato. Our waitress went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Due to the new liquor laws in Tulsa, I couldn't have Moscato because it was sold out. She helped me pick the Riesling and it was a great choice! It was light and airy with a sweet aftertaste. My salad was excellent and she made sure I had extra honey mustard dressing, just like how I like it. Their beer bread is very good; we nibbled on it while waiting for our meal. When the meal arrived, everything was cooked to perfection! The steak was amazing and the fries were perfectly cooked! Ken liked his baked potato and said it was delicious. When it came time for dessert, we picked the two fork cheesecake, a house-made cheesecake with white chocolate and strawberry sauce. Our waitress brought the cheesecake and it was beautiful! She decorated it herself and did a fabulous job! The cheesecake was outstanding; so creamy and rich. This restaurant is not an inexpensive choice, but they do offer early dining menu from 4-6 pm mom-fri which is a decent price. However, sometimes it's okay to splurge a little! That's all I'm going to say, but the service was great, it was about 20 of us for a birthday party and they did a amazing job serving us even though it took for ever for the food to come out but that's okay I was able to bring the rest of my food for my lunch for work, and that was a great thing. Don't remember the servers name but they were awesome as well. I order the cheese fries really wasn't impressive but I don't send food back for some reason. But my bbq shrimp enbuchette was good and I had green beans and that was good too. For my drink I had a ginger peach lemonade and that was pretty good. Came for lunch and don't get me wrong the food was good but the younger waitress in there could use more training. First and foremost she came to our table attempting to take our order twice before bringing "just the complimentary bread" (the white couple sitting in front of us got their free bread before she even asked about appetizers) or my alcoholic beverage, when the order came out wrong we overheard her tell the other staff that we "changed our minds" instead of admitting ti her mistake, and during the lunch the meals come with a soup or salad and a side so I ordered Mac and cheese and the strawberry salad to which she replied "that's extra" and assuming like many other restaurants the "extra" was a few dollars I told her it was fine but instead of an extra fee I was charged the full amount of a salad as well as the full amount of the steak. read more

My wife and I came here Saturday evening for dinner. It exceeded my expectations, especially with how new it is! We have been to Saltgrass in OKC and Texas and were not disappointed here in Tulsa. There will be a wait and you may have to park next door and walk a minute, but it's worth it. They mentioned they will be taking reservations starting in October. I ordered the ribeye with mashed potatoes and ceasar salad, while my wife got the soup and salad. The steak was hot and cooked to perfection, the salad was fresh, and the mashed potatoes were excellent. The cheesecake we shared was also delicious! Dillon was an awesome waiter who made sure we were taken care of and had everything we needed. As Landry Select Club members, we spoke with the manager who seemed genuinely happy to have us. We ordered take out for our daughter's birthday. The order was just thrown together. My cheeseburger had no condiments as described in the menu. No onion, tomato, lettuce, pickles! Not even a minute passed, and our server introduced herself and asked if she could get us anything to drink. We ordered a couple of Gin and Tonics. The bread were brought out hot and tasted like they had just come out of the oven. Yum! I decide to try their rib-eye steak with fried onions and mushroom caps on top with Brussel sprouts; I also ordered the Wedge Salad. The Wedge Salad was very good. My rib-eye came out hot and juicy but missing fried onions and mushrooms. Our server quickly realized this, apologized and went back to the kitchen to get a side of onions and mushrooms. Firstly, I want to start off by saying that I don't ever write reviews good nor bad. But this experience was so terrible that I felt it was IMPERATIVE that I write one and warn you to save your money and go absolutely anywhere else but this establishment. I was quoted 45 minutes for a table of 3. Which I understood because it was a Friday and it seemed typical. But when I took a peak into the dining room over half the tables were empty. Again, I thought logically and thought perhaps they were low on servers. I counted there was over 16 servers waiting tables.... We finally got sat and the waiter was awesome, however we sat pretty close to the kitchen and I could just hear constant screaming and quickly figured out the source of the wait. It wasn't the lack of servers or lack of seating, but the lack of communication that was going on with the cooks. Constant yells from the kitchen broke any form of atmosphere SaltGrass had going for it. Server was great and timely and brought everything quickly. Except for the food, which was without a doubt the kitchens fault. My steak was worse than a Hungry Man TV dinner steak. It was cooked to the right temperature but somehow was still lacking any resemblance to a good dish. My drink that wasn't that complicated took so long to make. I sat facing the bar and there was never an overwhelmingly amount of people to excuse the time it took to get a beverage. Overall I'm not sure how this place has a 3 star rating, horrible location, horrible food, and horrible kitchen staff. The manager also stopped by our table and he was very pleasant as well. We started off with salads and bread. The bread was probably my favorite of the night. We both went with a steak. Both steaks came out exactly how we ordered. Then we took a bite. Neither steak was seasoned well and just tasted average. For the price I expected more. Neither one of us finished our plate.
