Surprising delicious! The reviews for this place weren't great, but I was staying nearby and we decided to get a couple whole pizzas since we were starving. The service was fast and the ambiance was nice. They have a special where you can do a three topping custom pizza that was really nice. The slices might be hot or miss since they're not as fresh and this is a very thin crust pizza (so usually best when fresh), but the whole pizzas were pretty great! Nice thin crunchy crust, and I had them add a little extra sauce which really helped since it generally can be a little otherwise.

Salvation Pizza saved the day! Literally. We came down to Rainey Street for the live music, but only found DJ's at every bar but one. So we stumbled upon this Italian restaurant bar. It had everything from giant TV screens, to a pool table, to house made meatballs. We couldn't choose so we ordered wings, fried pickles, meatballs, and pizza, and we loved it all, including the last 30 minutes where I dominated at a game of pool. Thank you bar tender for the quarters that the table needed to play!

It's the only bar in the area that has tvs that show sports on lots of tvs and some of those tvs are large format. So that's pretty cool. It's Rainey, so it's overpriced. The quality is fine. Food isn't spectacular, but it won't kill you. We had pepperoni rolls, toasted raviolis, and a supreme pizza. The ravs were not made in house, which we were told in advance, and that's fine, and they were just okay- honestly I wouldn't buy them again though. The pizza didn't have a lot of cheese, but if you love bell peppers, this is def for you! The pepperoni rolls were a hit, mostly out of nostalgia. We started with a spicy Bloody Mary that was kind of lemony and sweet - it may have been a mix choice; it wasn't terrible, just not good. There was a good Beer selection and a full bar. The TVs had good sound. A pool table is available for those who didn't want to watch the games. The bartender was chatty if you like that and he was fine walking away if you were not. Overall, it's fine.

This is one of the spots I've always walked past on the way to my car after doing something on Rainey street so since I had some time to kill I decided to give it a try. Nice big open space, tons if screens streaming the games, welcomed by an attendee right away. She took my order and I waited. Some how my order got lost and I ended up waiting like 40 minutes for a burger and onion rings. They apologized and gave me a discount which was chill of them. Onion rings were pretty good, burger was a little dry. Would be willing to give them another chance though cause everyone was accommodating.

First time trying Salvation Pizza. I was greeted with smiles and someone immediately took our order. They were showing the UFC fight and some of the Olympic Games. A very nice gentleman offered us water while we wait for our food. There is indoor and outdoor seating. They also have a pool table indoors. They had a large selection of alcohol and the vibe was calm but inviting. I love when I enter a place and the staff love what they do. It makes the experience so much better. I gave it a 4 because I didn't dine in but I hope to do so before I leave.

Well if you like hair in your calzone..this is the place to order one! Ordered a calzone and side salad via Door Dash. I know this wasn't Door Dash's fault as they only pick up the order and b/c a calzone is a folded pizza and this piece of hair was melted in the cheese..DISGUSTING! I was kinda glad it was in there b/c the calzone was actually tasteless.... I did contact Door Dash, showed them my photos and they refunded me... GROSS GROSS GROSS

OMG who would know that there would be an AWSOME pizza restaurant near m the downtown area of Austin TX. Here from California an just by chance we parked right in the front of this restaurant. We decided to take a stroll down RaIney street to check out the other vendors and restaurants only to end up back to Salvation Pizza Restaurant. We had a party of 5 and decided to order the 18" pizza, Garlic Bread & Macaroni & cheese. Our server Juliana was the best including the bartender. The pizza was served heat hot and oh so delicious, mmmm good. So good that we ordered another pizza to go. Hopefully we will return before we leave.

She was totally on top of us I had the lobster pasta and friend had the ahi tacos. They did not skimp on portions. The tacos were so full of tuna it has hard to keep it all inside the shell! The sauce was not over powering yet very tasty for sure. And the lobster meat. Not sprinkled in like other places. Absolutely not! There was a hefty amount of lobster for sure! Our server was super friendly and helpful. She recommended a couple of her favorite smoothies. I ordered the Sweet Corn Cake Benedict: poached eggs, jalapeño cheddar corn cakes, avocado, tomato & corn salsa (4/5). I liked and enjoyed my breakfast, which was fresh and light. Berry Basil Smoothie: blueberry, strawberry, basil, banana, agave, pomegranate, coconut water, lime juice (4/5). This was very delicious. My coworkers order the Everything Sandwich: everything cream cheese, peppered bacon, baby kale, roasted roma tomatoes (4/5). Flavorful, with a light freshness of all the ingredients. My other coworker ordered a side of Breakfast Potatoes & a Detox Juice: acai, pomegranate, coconut water, lime. Both really liked the breakfast potatoes, which had a crisp exterior crunch yet soft and creamy inside. Come check them out. Support your local business.

This 6-year-old, who eats bread on the daily, took one bite and wouldn't eat any more. We even get gluten-free bread regularly, and he eats it. The bread was fine, but don't expect flavor. By some miracle, they even made butter tasteless. I considered calling the Vatican to see if this was some holy, divine miracle, but my wife suggested maybe the main course would be better. We settled on the pesto pasta with chicken added for an additional fee. The pasta was good. Great texture, good flavor, and the combination of ingredients was good, but it's nothing original. It's pesto pasta. It's a classic. I appreciate the pomegranate seeds on the guacamole because it's original, it's clever, and it's different.
