Went tonight - arrived at 9:45. They close at 11. The bar tender / waiter was not pleasant and acted like we were an inconvenience for coming. We ordered 4 slices of pizza on their available slice menu for the day and after 20+ mins of waiting on the slices and seeing the chef get angry about having to get us the slices we ordered- we were served 3 out of 4 burned slices of pizza. We were charged $45 for 4 slices of pizza that were not acceptable to eat and a bad attitude from the staff. I will never go back to this establishment and it's a shame this "service" seems acceptable to them. Extremely disappointed, shame on you Salvatuon pizza. I am visiting my daughter in Austin and staying right around the corner from the Rainey St. Branch. I ordered a pizza at 5:30. At 6:30 I called and was told its done and just waiting on a driver. I was informed it was a 3rd party. I called 30 minutes later. The pizza was still waiting on a driver. I asked if I could have them remake it and I'd just pick it up. I was told yes. I walked there in just a few minutes and sat at the bar to wait on my pizza. I was sort of greeted. I wasn't even offered a water while I waited, or an apology. I get having a 3rd party delivery and it being out of your control. But I am your customer. Shouldn't you care if your customers aren't satisfied? Your online delivery doesn't say it's 3rd party delivery and I didn't expect it to sit on your pizza oven for an hour waitingfor a driver. I had plans that were impacted by this delay. When I got my pizza I asked about getting the delivery fee and driver tip back. I was told well we made you another pizza. Pretty glib response. No. You gave me what I paid for 2 hours before. I said glad to know you give a shit and walked my pizza back to the hotel. It was OK. Not worth $44 and a 2 hour wait. I don't live here so maybe this feedback doesn't matter to you. However, for future guests you might consider making it known that you don't do the deliveries and wait times could be very very long. Folks got things to do. Very friendly and fast service! The pizza was delicious and I loved the ranch. I'm not a huge of wings however these were tasty. The dry rub was very flavorful. The salad was very crisp, I would recommend it. The reason I'm giving this place a 4 and not a 5 is because I couldn't really taste the Caesar dressing on the salad. It wasn't terrible but I just wanted to have a Caesar salad and this was so light that I just tasted the lettuce. I flagged down a server and told her we had an online order, she said something to the effect of "I'm serving other tables" and we continued to wait. We popped in here mid bike ride on a Saturday for some A/C and cold drinks. It wasn't busy and our waiter was very friendly and prompt! He recommended the watermelon limeade as a refreshing drink and we ordered a build your own calzone. The cook time was a little long but worth it! It was so fresh with a crispy crust and perfection inside. The UT game came on while we were there, so it got a little busier, but the service never wavered. Honestly super sad writing this because this used to be my favorite pizza place to go to. If you are thinking of going here think AGAIN. Based on the reviews this seems to be an on going issue. But the lady named Candice up front we walk in sit down and order drinks my partner asks is there a chance we can change the channel on the tvs? Her remark was "is there a chance you can wait a min" very passive aggressive didn't sit right with us so when she asked if I wanted cinnamon on my drink I informed no we are going to pass on the drinks she said okay. Mind you we never saw her pour drinks or hand us our drinks we are sitting right at the bar. so I asked about my card on file she confirmed she was going to cancel it out I said cool thanks we leave. I later checked my card and she charged me for a drink she claimed she poured and charged the other person we were with as well. We come back to talk about the charges she sees us already is aggressive right off the bat and we were asking about the charges she said yeah you guys walked out so you were charged I took one drink off since it wasn't poured. She then prints out receipts one shows zero the other shows 10 bucks. Our banks show differently which we explained Okay cool well since you charged our cards can we get the drink we paid for she said no you can pay for another. Of course at this point we are beginning to get frustrated as she STILL has so much attitude and then she walks away telling other customers we are mad because they got charged for walking out. Wow this place had fantastic customer service and overall fun vibes! Before another night of going out, we decided to prepare our bodies with pizza (and rounds of shots, of course). Upon walking in, it's actually a family-friendly establishment that locals seem to frequent. All the customers we interacted with were so fun and friendly, especially keeping things PG when we noticed kids were present. (We uh, had to tone down the bachelorette vibes.) The pizza was great, gigantic, and perfect in meat-sauce-crust ratio! We only ordered the most basic pepperoni pizza, and everyone enjoyed themselves. No one was sick when we tumbled back home, but we definitely held in the alcohol after lining our stomachs with pizza. As delicious as the pizza was, we were all fans of the appetizers we shared at our table. The garlic bread was seasoned finely and paired with the delicious marinara sauce. The fried mozzarella was amazing, and we ordered another round. How can you possibly go wrong with mozzarella sticks?! Cheesy, ooey, gooey, and warm~ Fried pickles were shared as well, and they were tasty. I'm not the biggest pickle fan, but they were crunchy and the sriracha ranch was a nice dip to pair with. We also purchased rounds of lemon drops! They were done nicely albeit that sugary rim made us all wash our hands since it got us all sticky. We even got to take shots with strangers, lol. If I could give it negative stars, I would. I went last night, July 9th, around 10pm. There was only one server and maybe 7 or 8 different parties she had to serve all on her own, I felt incredibly bad just seeing her running around all over the place on top of placing phone/take out orders. We ordered a small caesar salad, a dozen hot wings, 1 pepperoni calzone and 1 small supreme pizza (with ricotta cheese). I have to say that by far this is the most disgusting food I have ever tasted. The supreme pizza was RAW, it tasted like soggy wet noddles. I have NEVER experienced this before & just because it is "thin crust pizza" it does not justify the pizza being RAW & SOGGY. After that ONE bite of pizza, I couldn't eat a thing, I just wanted to throw up. Our server was so swamped that she didn't even bother to hear my concerns and walked away and took it off of our tab. I HATE that my partner had to pay $30 for 3 wings, 1/3 of a calzone and oh almost forgot the side of E. Coli with the raw dough. Ya'll might think I'm just purposely going on a rant because I have nothing better to do but I'm seriously close to going to the ER from stomach pains after last night. I have tried calling management 3 times now and its like they don't exist or they are avoiding me.
