My first time having a sushi boat did not disappoint. It was filling, fresh, and aesthetically pleasing. The hibachi was also a good experience, though it was on the pricier side. I got scallops with fried rice, and both were cooked to a good tenderness. The sauce was a bit too strong, though, and not as flavorful as other hibachi places I've been before. I would come back again if suggested by others for the experience and quality ingredients, but probably not for the flavors. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant as a place to come with both small and large groups. It has two levels of seating areas and is very spacious and not cramped at all. Went here for New Year's Eve. For $35 buffet dinner plus DJ and bubbly at midnight was not a bad deal at all. Hubs enjoyed the sushi and sashimi. I had mainly the chicken satay and fried rice and the meat and veggies dish. Went with some friends and enjoyed the music and dance floor. They also had hibachi food which was in the main restaurant section. There is a whole downstairs area too. This restaurant is huge. Parking was easy as they have a parking lot right outside. The chef was great with his antics. We ordered several items. They were hit or miss. Edamame (tried both spicy and non spicy): just okay Beef Teriyaki: average Fried calamari: fine. Hibachi entree with Salmon and Filet mignon: Slamon was great, filet mignon was okay. The fried rice was excellent. Mai tai drink was okay while the Brazilian Caiprinha was awesome. My family was at the restaurant last night. We had the most rudest server as we did last night, I will NEVER go back to that restaurant!!!

Came here for a corporate outing and was glad they could accommodate such a big group all in one area. Food-wise, we got a sushi boat and each person got a hibachi plate. I think the presentation and show felt very rushed and all the meat was pretty overcooked or didn't taste like the freshest seafood. Before we sat, we asked both the hostess and our waiter if they were honoring their usual "kids eat free on Sundays" special. They both separately said yes. We ordered drinks and sushi, then the waiter came to take our order and informed us that the usual special was not available because it was Father's Day. We explained that we had just asked him and the hostess if they were honoring it and they both said yes. He walked away, talked to other staff, and came back and said that no, the kids would have to pay full price. Was skeptical on this place based on the reviews I read. But I realized that everyone who left a bad review still thought the sushi was good. And they were right! The sushi was really good. We got the maki combo, Godzilla roll, new wave maki, and Lenny roll. The sauces on all of them were great. The fish was good. The maki combo is a very good deal- 3 rolls for $30. The makimono was slightly overpriced, but the special rolls were fairly priced. It seems clear that the kitchen items and the sushi items are separate. In accordance with the other reviews for this restaurant, I thought that the non-sushi food was bland and not worth the price. We ordered miso soup which was very bland and lacking flavor and left a very strange after taste. All items were present and accounted for in our order (delivery) and everything was made and delivered quickly. I will never be going back to this location. My friends planned a dinner for my birthday, there was another group at my table that was also having a birthday and the staff catered to them and were very attentive to them but pretty much ignored me and my party. They gave them cute little hats to wear, and a special dessert, neither of which were offered to me and my friends until we pointed out how differently they were treating the other people at our table If you were looking for somewhere to go for your birthday or for any special occasion, this is not the place to choose. Genuinely the BEST hibachi I've ever had. The service was excellent and prompt, the food portions were gigantic and delicious, and the place is so clean and well-decorated that it makes for a wonderful experience. I live in Boston so my gauge for cost is a bit skewed, but I didn't find the cost here particularly bad. It wasn't busy whatsoever and we were served immediately. My husband and I are vegetarians and were able to get tofu mixed in with our vegetables. Our waitress was incredibly nice about it and, again, the portions were huge! I ordered delivery from DoorDash the other evening. It was a hibachi meal which consisted of two lobster tails, the regular menu, and I did an add-on of scallops for nine dollars. Unfortunately, with DoorDash you could not make any changes or suggestions to the order per the restaurant . I do not like mushrooms, and I was not able to take that off of the vegetable side dish. Also, I did not realize the lobster came with a sauce which the lobster was soaked in. The lobster was also overdone, so it was hard and chewy. The scallops were nicely seared, but they came in a sauce which defeated the purpose of the sear and they were soggy. Dim lights, loud music (too loud for me but people were happy) and attentive staff. Food is good, but nothing exceptional. The service is definitely very good. I feel the food is overpriced here. Sushi was great. Other dishes (clay pot curry and bibimbap) were okay, not that great. Dessert was good but very few options. They don't have non-alcoholic drinks in their menu. Upon asking about hot beverages, I was told that they have green tea, which I ordered. Go here for fresh sushi/maki/sashimi, good ambience and service. We have been here a lot of times and have ordered take out. You know what to expect when you go there on a certain night. We have sat at the bar and have sat at the tables. Got sushi delivered from Samba during our time of quarantine. It was a Saturday night with an anticipated wait time of 45 minutes, and I believe they only took about 25. I had ordered the OG Spicy Tuna Maki (8.95) and the Crazy Maki (11.25). Both were awesome, great flavor, and came with enough wasabi and ginger to feed six sushi rolls. My only complaint after I quickly inhaled both rolls, was that their prices are quite expensive for their smaller sized rolls, and the smaller quantity of pieces - there were 6 pieces in the spicy tuna, and 7 with the crazy maki. I'd certainly go back, but it would not be a place I go often as it would certainly break the bank. read more

Service here is poor and definitely observed what appeared to be racially based service. Firstly, our waitress never greeted our table when we arrived nor made us feel welcome. I figured she was probably overworked and tired and didn't want to make a big deal out of it, but habitually throughout the night, I observed our waitress serve the White people first even though they were at the end of the hibachi table. She would walk by my boyfriend and I with our food in hand and then serve the white man at the end of the table before walking back and serving us our food. I noticed another review mentioned this behavior as well. I was very aware of what was happening and almost spoke up on it, but gave the lady the evil eye instead. I'm not sure if this is how they train their employees but they need to get a grip in 2020 and treat all guests the same. Secondly, at no point did she check in with any guests to see if we needed refills or how the food was coming along. I just shake my head at this point that people can continue to work in customer oriented jobs without having basic people skills. I will not be back. read more

Chicken is consistently chewy and questionable but rest of food is great and always fun to do hibatchi although no space between seats so you get cozy with whatever group comes with you. They do have non-hibatchi normal tables as well but then youd miss the onion volcano! read more
