My daughter has had her car only for a little over a month. A 2016 Nissan Altima. On Friday, October 15th the car left her stranded. We figured out it was the battery. Had the car jumped by my car. Then took the batter to O'reillys and they tested and told me it was a bad battery. We then called Sames on Saturday numerous of times and no answer. Called the salesman that sold my daughter the car who his name is Darryl Quintanilla who also never answered his phone or returned the call. Come Monday, October 18th, my daughter calls again. After calling all morning, they finally answered. Just to tell us there was nothing to be done because we bought a used car. Well of course we know it's a used car but even with that said. We are not expecting the battery to die that soon. So they are taking no responsibility. To make things worse, my son bought a 2013 VW Tiguan from them also. He bought about maybe two months ago, and guess what!? I had to replace the battery the same week as my daughters car. Coincidence, I think Not! I recommend everyone to not go there. I had a bad experience with this so-called dealership. I bought a car from them then started having problems that it would burn out the Alternator so after paying a mechanic to replaced it 6 times I decided to call the dealer. I would never get a call back from the General Manager after leaving a few messages. So I talked to a so-called assistant GM so I took it in and after a few times of them fixing the problem they would say it was a bad Alternator or bad battery or nothing was wrong just charged the battery. Can I do a negative starred review?? So today I went to go pay my car bill, and as soon as I got there, I noticed that nobody was in the office section so I stood there and waited. Keep in mind I arrived at 9:30, so I knew they were open. I waited for 15 minutes without being greeted or even being told that it'll be one second. Nobody even came out to assist me until I started loudly sighing and throwing my keys on the table. This is the worst place to do business with. As a small business owner we did business with them for approximately six months. To start with, the payments were rarely ever on time. Also if we had questions regarding a specific job only one person actually seemed to know what was going on. Now it's been over six months since our last job and still have yet to receive payment for that. I have attempted to contact every department that I could think of and consistently keep getting the runaround. When I go in person I get the same treatment. I don't understand exactly why they're having such an issue making the last payment for the last job but apparently you can't help bad business practices. Everyone was willing to work with me and explained everything very well to me as I am a first time car buyer. So Alex gave us a quote on a car and we took it on loan for the weekend to get inspected. After it checked out we returned to make the deal and Alex doesn't show at our scheduled time but Diego brings us a new offer that is $2k more and they won't sell us the car at the price Alex gave us. Then Travis the sales director offers that i can still buy the car at $1500 more rather than $2k more than Alex's price. When i ask them to honor their word Travis says it wasn't his word and the finger pointing begins. All the while Alex is MIA and won't answer his phone or texts. I completely agree with you. I bought my car 4 months ago, and have had several issues with my car. My wheel felt like it was loose from the begining and i took it back 2 times, they kept tellling me it was fixed. On the 3rd month my engine started making a noise, I KEPT trying to get through to the service department and you will ONLY get voicemail. The guys are jerks and act like you have to arrange a time around there sched when they feel like it. They had my car for over a week, and now they come to say I need 3 expensive parts on my car. Total cost of $900 not even covered under my so called "2 year warranty". Why the hell do you have a warranty on a a useless piece of crap car. They made me pay the $100 diagnostic fee and basically told me I was screwed since I should of known what I was getting myself into when I bought the car. This has to be the worst WORST company to deal with. YOU are way better off going to Drive Time or another dealership that actually backs up there warranty. DONT get involved with this company- all the girls there all they are trained to do is hang up on you when you call. If you call the sales man after you already bought the car he's NEVER available to talk to you. My wife took my car for a yearly inspection. While checking the car they told her there was no gas cap and sold her a new one for $16 as the check requires the car to have a gas cap. The car passed. The next day I showed up, telling them that I did have a gas cap before the test (100% sure) and that the 'new' gas cap caused my 'check engine' light to come on. Both are issues I was not happy about. Turns out they took off the gas cap without asking, trashed it and sold my wife a new one, which supposedly meets the test requirements'. Regarding the 'check engine' light I did not get a statement, just raised eyebrows. They refused to refund the gas cap even though it caused the check engine light. I got a new gas cap from a Jeep dealer for less than $10. The check engine light turned off with the correct gas cap. A very sad experience - we were wanting to support local businesses and planned to take our car there for regular repairs and oil changes. After this experience - no way!!! read more

I don't even know where to begin with this terrible business. I guess it's my fault for not reading all of the previous bad reviews before I walked in. I'll get to the point. The salesman was misleading about what they could do for me but of course I didn't find this out until after all of the paperwork was signed and I gave them my hard earned money. On some follow up stuff with the car, one of the managers seemed to not care at all that I was having problems with it. I asked to speak with the GM, no one gave him a message for me because he never called. I took time out of my day to go speak with him in person. He ignored a paying customer ( I saw him there that day and he didn't look too busy) and then I was pawned me off on the finance person who is absolutely no help to any customer with needs. There are policies that they do not explain or even have written so you could at least read over it before signing. They do not care if you are paying them nearly $400 a month. They do not care if you a business professional in customer service in the community. They do not care that I am a war veteran for this country. They do not care!!!!!!! I do not normally write these kinds of reviews. I feel if you don't have something nice to say, keep opinion to yourself. However, this is such a terrible place of business. It seems borderline illegal activity (imposing policy you do not sign on for) that I felt the need to warn people. If they will treat a veteran this way, this is not some place you want to spend your hard earned money. Please look elsewhere. I have been stressed, upset, and utterly frustrated at being a customer of this place. I will be sending a letter to the BBB next and figuring a legal way to get out of this less than desirable vehicle that they swindled me into paying for. If I could give this place a negative review I would. After looking around and trying to get a car with the help of my lovely grandparents what seemed like forever and getting told no at bigger dealerships we ended up here after a few. Another reason we ended up here was because said grandparents were friends with someone who works here. We felt very pressured to buy from here because of how badly one of the sales ladies talked about the other place I wanted to check out because she worked there before and this place was so much better. Obviously she was just trying to make a sale. When they pull out the car that they chose for us, which seemed like the oldest car on the lot. Everything seemed wrong with it, it made a squeaking noise with the engine running. After a couple of minutes of showing disinterest, they brought out another car. This one looked like it had been sitting somewhere parked forever but seemed like the better car out of the two. They told us that they were the only place that could get financed through a bank, and went on and on about how they were so much better than other dealerships. Again we felt so pressured, but hoped for the best. When we took it, they were supposed to have the car detailed and put gas but couldn't do either because the car was dead? We had to put gas out of pocket because it was running on empty. But getting a car here, getting pressured and manipulated this I regret so much because fast forward a year and three months the car isn't running anymore and there's still 10k owed on the car that has a $1,100 value. I'm convinced they gave us the worst car on the lot, what benefited them. We called today with all of the info they asked for (vin number and mileage), said they would get back to us in 45 minutes and never called back. At first I was very pleased with my experience at sames. We found a vehicle in our price range that was well maintained and hit all of our requirements! I had to get approved for financing and was assured with a handshake that the vehicle would not be sold until I confirmed I would not be buying. Two days of constant contact later the car was sold 10 minutes before I arrived to sign papers. The entire staff seemed embarrassed (as they should be) that this could happen and assured me they would make this right and get another vehicle on the lot. When this car showed up it had body damage, was a much smaller vehicle and the interior was falling apart. After a short discussion with one of the sales managers Trent that i won't get into the specifics of we were told no car dealership does business the way we were asking them to. Sergio the GM had told us that they in fact would be doing business that way and Trent didn't bother to ask. He instead told us that maybe we should part ways. We in fact did part ways and will never be returning to sames. The fact that the perfect vehicle was assured to us (we even offered to place a deposit but were told it wasn't necessary!) And then sold out from under us minutes before we arrived to purchase it wasn't enough for them. We had to be strung on and disrespected. I would not even give this place one star!! I went online and applied for a car. I got an email from someone that does not work there saying they would call me back. I was eager to get a car so I called them. I spoke with Miguel. He told me what he could finance me after looking at my credit report. He gave me a specific amount down, an interest rate, and a payment amount. So 3 days later I go to pick out the car. I get there and he first changes the payment amount. Then, when confronted about why it changed he says he never gave me any info over the phone like that. When I told him I spoke with him over the last 3 days about this car and all the details he insisted it wasn't him. When I asked him how that was possible he says that someone else said they had the same issue. So someone is impersonating you and now has all my credit info. He says that it had to have happened and then proceeds to try and sell me a car for twice the amount. I told him how was I going to buy a car from a company that has someone coming in and going through their credit applications!!! DOES HE REALLY THINK THAT I AM THAT STUPID?!? Then it was there is a problem with his system and someone else told me that but they used his name because they got it off the application. SO THAT STILL MEANS THAT THIS COMPANY CANNOT RUN LIKE A REAL BUSINESS THAT KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING!! If you go to this company you better be ready for a run around. The sales manager was verbally abusive when I complained about the GPS they put on my car. He actually showed me how they can track my every move when I am in my car. Creepy to say the least. I bought a Kia Rio with 30,000 miles. They recommended the warranty, which I purchased. Later the warranty company wrote me to tell me the odometer reading was actually 53,000. I took my car to Capitol Kia and they accepted the odometer reading at 33,000 because that is what I was sold. They told me the warranty Sames had sold me was not needed because Kia covers my car for the first 60,000 miles. I called the finance manager to cancel their warranty. I asked what amount would my payment be lowered by. They responded that the payment amount would stay the same and the warranty purchase amount would be removed from the back of the loan. Which means I will never see a penny in reality. They also told me they had to look up my paperwork and would return my call. Of course, I never received a call back and that has been 2 wks ago. This place is shady. Avoid, avoid, avoid. read more
