By far the best burger in town! I just moved here from Cali and due to this covid stuff haven't really had the time ( everything closes early ) to find a good burger place. First time here and it was delicious!! I had the Hatch burger, zucchini, fries as well as the the French Dip. The establishment was very clean inside and the employees were all wearing mask which I really appreciate. Although I would prefer the large order of fries in a foam container versus a bag to prevent them from getting soggy so quick. I use to really like this restaurant, Last night about a hour before they closed, I ordered A 4 piece fish with fries. The fish was old and dry and 2 pieces were burnt. It was totally horrible. I also ordered chicken strips with fries and a chicken melt. Way too much money to be the absolute worse. I use to love their food. I think i will just keep my money. I will not recommend this place to anyone. How dare them just throw food together and feel that its acceptable. I fed it to my dogs, one of my dogs turned it down. I've been searching for a great burger place that's open late. We stumbled across Sammy's today and have found much more than a great burger place! They have a wide ranging menu which includes breakfast all day, burgers, sandwiches, hot dogs, chicken, fish, and more. The staff is very attentive and the place is very clean. We ordered the country breakfast bowl and the tuna salad to eat there. We took home burgers and fries for the hungry crew that didn't go with us. The portion size on the breakfast bowl and the tuna salad was huge. We both barely could eat half and brought the rest home. I've got nothing bad to say at all about this little hidden gem. I can't wait to go back to try more of the menu. read more

Well how times HAVE CHANGED! We waited 30 minutes for our food tonight, and they had loads of help working. Then, when we finally got it the order was WRONG! My wife got charged .50 for raw onion on her sandwich and asked for no mayonnaise . When it arrived, no onion, and it had mayonnaise. This USED to be our go to place. I understand times are different, but charging .50 for less than a slice of onion, and crappy service. We probably will not be back, I'm so sorry to say. First time trying this spot. Was expecting mom and pop restaurant experience which is food made with love for me. For them to include burgers in the restaurant title one would expect the burgers to be on point! This is not the case. They don't even use fresh ground beef for their burgers. You can tell they are pre-made patties and the taste is reminiscent of those elementary school cafeteria hamburgers. Awful! I wanted to love the food but they definitely are taking as many shortcuts as they can get away with to produce their food. Frozen processed food and not fresh. Very disappointing. read more

The only issue we had with them was we did not receive our fish. We got the shrimp and that was good but disappointed our order was missing the fish. This local joint is family owned and I really enjoy ordering their California burger in a lettuce wrap. The lettuce is always cool and crisp. I especially love their Chili cheese fries and they are not stingy with the cheese and chili sauce. Make sure and order the jalapeno poppers for a nice kick. I have also ordered their cobb salad, fried fish combos, and broaster chicken. I like a lot of their food items as you can tell. The food is always served hot. I don't prefer their onion rings because the batter is too thick and sometimes the cheese sticks are not fried long enough for the cheese to get really melty but that is just my preference. Wife and I had the all you can eat fish and it was very good. Will definitely be back to try more on the menu. The all you can eat isn't a good deal unless you're going to eat a bunch. I ate 5 pieces of fish which cost $9.99 for the AYCE but it would have been a dollar cheaper if I would have ordered the 5 piece meal instead. My wife only ate 3 pieces which would have been $3 cheaper if she ordered the 3 piece meal. That is our fault for not figuring that out ahead of time. Everything was great except the ribeye and the hamburger patties were not seasoned at all. All it needed was a little salt and pepper, maybe garlic salt.
