The food was good, the chilaquiles verdes needed a tiny bit of spice tho, there pickled onions were good that I asked for an extra side to give it a little more tang since it needed something. I'd come here again and try more things on the menu. Everyone seems super helpful and good helping staff. I give it a solid 4.5. The vibe is super chill and comfy. Gave me time to read my bible while I was eating.

Ordered the Ube Fruity Pebble French Toast ($16.95) and it was yummy! I definitely needed more fruity pebbles but that's my preference. Staff was friendly and prompt. The place was packed and I had joined the waitlist online prior to coming. Waited less than 10 min when we actually arrived. I also loved the decorations everywhere with the foliage, light fixtures and even the ceiling fans. The Tagalog vocab on the chalkboard is also fun to read and learn. I like that there's still a modern feel to the place.

LOVEEE the menu!! If what I had today is any indication of how delicious the other items might be then I'm super pumped to go back and try them all (like the loaded crepes). It was late afternoon but I was in a mood for breakfast food. I was conflicted between the loaded crepes (scrambled eggs, bacon + other good 'ish that I can't remember atm) and the chicken and waffles. The latter prevailed and I have no ragrats about it. The chicken and waffles were really great. They did a pretty awesome job with the fry as it had a nice crunch with a solid crisp. The sauce that came with it paired nicely but I still asked for a side of buffalo sauce and alternated between the two. Finally, the waffles weren't anything special but I love waffles in general so it doesn't matter. My boyfriend had the Sammy's Big Breakfast or something like that. It included standard breakfast foods: eggs, country potatoes, ham,bacon, sausages, and pancakes. Pretty typical but still good otherwise (the potatoes were the best part). Since we came in the late afternoon there was no wait and our waitress gave us good service! Good food, good service, and good vibes - I guess you could say that the chances of having a good time are.. STACKED in your favor (sorry, I just had to lol). read more

I can't speak highly enough of the food and service at Sammy's. The food is of generous portions and reasonably priced. In addition, it tastes great too! I've tried several items off the menu and I have never been disappointed. The chicken and waffle selection I highly recommend. I never thought that combination was appetizing, but the batter used on the chicken is out of this world. I eat half the chicken and the waffle, and then take home the remaining chicken for a complete leftover meal. The eggs benedict always comes out perfectly made to order. I ask them to add spinach, which they happily accommodate. Sammy is an AMAZING owner and host. He routinely makes his rounds to the customers and is famously personal in his genuine concern for patrons' satisfaction. When you go, be sure to check in on YELP. You will get 20% off the entire check. It was already a great deal at full price! My only regret to writing this review is that it might increase the wait time for me to get a table. Our Church Men's Ministry had a breakfast at Sammy's last month. The service was excellent and the staff was very accommodating with our larger group of men. We had about 35 guys. We were set up outside in their patio area. We were able to have a little meeting with some LIVE WORSHIP MUSIC as well. Nice little area for large parties or meetings. Our expectations were met and exceeded! Food was YUMMY, with nice sized portions and affordable price point for the O.C.! We booked another meeting for this month with even more guys. First impressions, VERY clean and waitress VERY personable. I ordered the Stuffed French Toast. The best compliment I ever give any food is if I would ever order it again. Not only would I travel out of my way to return, I would order it again and highly recommend anyone who hasn't tried it to find out what your missing!! Before they cleared the dishes away, I tried my wife's pancakes, and they were shockingly different in that they tasted like CAKE. It was like Adulting and having dessert for the main course !! We came to Sammy's for breakfast spontaneously, and departed very full and happy :-) The food was outstanding, and the service was efficient and friendly. Prices were very reasonable, and the portion sizes are extremely generous. Between us we shared the chicken and waffles (delicious!), the chicken (four whole pieces in an order!) was very flavorful and cooked to perfection, with the outside nicely crisped :-) Waffles were fluffy and light! My wife and I have been going to Sammy's at least once a week, when it was IHOP, for over 6 years now. The name has changed but the food and the service has not changed. Their food is wonderful and Rosie has been serving us our breakfast every time. She always knows what we like to eat and makes sure we get fresh hot coffee every time. Sammy the owner always comes by our table when he is there to greet us and he has a wonderful personality. Espy the other waitress and the rest of the crew at Sammy's are all nice and my wife and I highly recommend everyone to dine at Sammy's. read more

They don't have a website, so I'm not able to contact any higher ups for this restaurant. Employees are claiming they aren't partnered with food delivery apps like UberEats, DoorDash, and GrubHub. I found this out as I had an order from here. But when I open the UberEats customer app, it clearly shows Sammy's Stackhouse as restaurant customers can order from (see picture). My husband and I Love Sammy's Stack house. We been going there for more then 6 years . It was IHOP before but now is better. Rosie our favorite waitress is fast and very friendly , She always has a smile on her face. She delivers customer service like is supposed to be done , Espy is the same as Rosie , Best waitresses in the morning . The rest of the crew are great too. Great breakfast at decent prices. Highly recommend and a very clean atmosphere! At first, the menu can be overwhelming as there are so many options to choose from so you cannot go wrong. This used to be an IHOP and it was great and still is under the new name and new décor. The servers are very kind and they do not rush you unlike some restaurants. One of the very few places that serve CRISPY CORNED BEEF HASH. Sundays are pretty crowded so be sure to go early. They have a senior menu and a child' s menu too.
