Great staff! Fun friendly service! Always clean in and out. They always have great clearance items.

I can say not all Sam's Clubs are created equal! It may be a demographic thing and I'm not judging. We bought a membership to buy a TV, the discount on the TV more than paid for the membership. We now use it for diapers and occasional rotisserie chicken (huge and cheap). Most other things I'm not into or the price is no different than a grocery just too much (this is no dif from Costco) for my choosing. We'll find things here and there but not really. Occasionally, we'll run into some friendly staff but not often. Some great TV options and they carry pampers! Health and beauty tends to be good also but the whole idea is really no comparison to Costco...Price Club to the OGs. read more

Horrible lines they have like 2-3 cashiers open always they are super slow, and sometimes rude. The kitchen staff is like a bunch of people taking there sweet time cooking, it took 20!!!!! Mins for a freaking pretzel ,come on I'm patient but that is just ridiculous . The only reason I come here is cuz I need stuff that they only carry if not I would rather be at Costco yes Costco is more packed but they are at least quicker and the food is way better over there only thing is costco don't have pretzel ! read more

I've been a member of Sams Club for over 10 years and have never been treated with so much disrespect by an associate by the name of Abrielle at the front door. She talked to us like we were out in town and she wanted to fight us. All because we wanted to go in and get our medication, which we have done at least once a week for years and have never had this problem. Now a person is allowed to go in to the pharmacy even if your not a member and she kept arguing with us and talking all kinds a bad stuff to us even as we were walking away. She was rude, disrespectful and even had the nerve to tell us that we should pay for the more expensive club membership to come in earlier. This was by no means any of her business and you don't even need a membership to use the pharmacy. My husband is disabled and uses the cart to be able to walk around and she had the nerve to tell him we didn't need to use a cart to go to the pharmacy. Not for her to tell us if we should or shouldn't use a cart or to deny a disabled person a cart. Management had to have a talk with her because of how rude she was. Even as we walked away she kept on talking all kinds and still being rude. The other associate that was with her had to tell her to stop already and yet she still kept on running her big mouth. Wow amazing how an associate thought she could treat a customer so bad. read more

I regularly get over charged or do not get the full refund owed to me. The store is either making a habit of taking money from people who do not bother to check their receipts or the employees are doing this. People check your receipts before you leave the store. read more

Sam's club is a great place to buy bulk items. I took a star off cause you do need a membership to shop here which is different from Costco. I do like to come here because of the free samples they have here. Good place to go buy items in bulk. I would recommend this place to others. read more

Costco over Sam's Club any day. It's simple, Sam's Club feels super ghetto compared to Costco. I never liked the service at Sam's. No one was helpful, no one knew where anything was. And one employee actually had the nerve to pull out a bags of chips, open it, and start to eat it with there mouth open... while she was at the cash register scanning our purchase!!!!! Got the flyer with the Cape Cod potato chips advertised. Wasted a half hour of my time trying to find them. Stock man on the floor never heard of them. The lady at the Manager's station looked and looked in her computer and said the do not stock that brand. Our family is lucky to have both Sam's Club and Costco nearby. There is much to recommend for either. Sams has the best quality fruits. Only Costco has gas, and at the best prices. I use a lot of medicines and the lines are much shorter at Sam's. They have good service as well as prices too. I like Sam's pizza and 4 berry sundies. Costco is a bit more upscale, but not by much. read more

Overall poor customer service on the part of the team leaders and management. I asked a regular sales associate for a specific item, (I even had a picture of it) and they showed me where they thought it would be at. After searching and failing to find it he told me to ask a shift leader/ manager (workers in the green vest) and he assured me that they have handled "computers" that have their inventory database and would be able to confirm or deny the availability of my product. Told me awhile to find one (they are supposed to be evenly distributed around the store) and when I did I approached him and showed him the same picture I showed the associate and he was said " if it's not over there (and just aimlessly pointed) we don't have any. And walked away. NOT HELPFUL AT ALL! & on top of all this my visit to the bathroom made me not want to return. We pay a membership fee to come to a store that has the most disgusting bathrooms I've ever seen. Didn't even use it, I held it until I got home. Overall not a satisfactory experience. read more

I have visited the store for the last time. I will drive 25 miles out of my way to go to Sam's Club in Valencia. This store is run by the most inept employees I've ever come across. Also for as slow as it is compared to Costco it's always dirty. They have one or two people working in the snack bar and they take three times as long as Costco, it is it's ridiculous. I will say that employees that work in there are friendly but they are understaffed and the way they have to prepare and especially serve your food to you, it's like a Little League snack bar. The worst by far though is the customer service department. Trying to get a return done there is like trying to cross the border without your passport. They always have to get someone to help them or have a manager come to help they're always doing like four different things at once they move at the pace of a turtle. Something tells me that a lot of these people used to work at a the DMV or the post office. I don't know how they actually make a profit at this store. read more

The Palomino Sleeper Sofa at Sam's Club is just what we wanted. It fits perfectly into our second bedroom and looks great. We searched all of the local furniture stores but could not find a sleeper sofa that would work for the room. The only hiccup was that we could not see this sofa real-time before purchase. They only offer it on-line not in a brick and mortar store. So the guarantee was very important to us. Also, the Free White Glove Delivery that included in-home delivery and set-up was key. The sofa and the white glove delivery was why we joined Sam's Club. Here's why this review isn't 5-stars; when the delivery company arrived, their paperwork said that if the box didn't fit through the door, they were not to bring it in and set it up. What?!! That's not what the guarantee said! After a little talking, the delivery guys agreed to take it out of the box, bring it in and set it up. Looking back on it now, I feel that the hesitation to do what was guaranteed was a ploy for a tip. Yup, I fell for it! They got another $40 out of me. I feel like a sucker! So... my review of the sofa would be 5 stars but as far as the guarantee, my advice would be to print out the fine print and show it to the delivery guys. Don't be fleeced for more $$$. read more

I'm originally from NW Arkansas. The corporate home of Sam's Club and Wal-Mart. They run some really great stores in that part of the country. I can't believe the Oxnard Sam's carries the Sam's club logo. Terrible business, rude and slooooow customer service. Californians stick to Costco. I'm only taking the time to make this review, because I noticed that Sams has a two star on yelp. I completely disagree with this rating. The Sam's Club on Oxnard has very good produce, meets, and seafood. I can always find a wide variety of organic foods as well. I love the fact that they have a great selection for items that are kid friendly, as I have a large family and lots of friends that come over and snack at our house. I really Love the scan and go app that allows me to scan my items as I am purchasing them. I can avoid the line completely and get in and out much quicker. I also appreciate the online ordering service. I can order the day before and my order will be picked out by associates and packaged for me, ready to pick up the next day at the time that I choose. I will receive a text message letting me know that it's ready and an associate brings out my packages. There is one for frozen foods, another for refrigerated items, and another box with dry goods. This is a huge time and money saver for me. Sam's has a broader selection of diversity in books and publications as well. They are not afraid to have different viewpoints and in print. The Checkers will happily take my items directly from my cart and place them into another cart, which saves me a lot of time and backache from lifting things up out of my cart and onto the conveyor belt. The guys outside are always willing to help put my items into the vehicle if they are heavy or my back is hurting. The lines are shorter than Costco and I feel the selection and quality is extremely good. Return policy is excellent as well. read more

Went in this morning to purchase a new pair of glasses. Ruby from optical helped me and she was extremely knowledgable, patient and kind. She helped me 4 years ago and remembered me. They sold me a phone that was "unlocked." Tried several sims cards in it while overseas and none of them worked. I called and they said they would take care of it when I returned to the US. I show up and they will not refund my money. Worst store ever. read more

Went to Sam's Club today for the first time in a while. Won't be going back. HORRIBLE customer service. The cashier wasn't friendly. When I went to swipe my card to pay she didn't explain that you have to use the new system and leave your card in the machine until she tells you to remove it. She never said to remove it, I had to read the monitor on the machine. She never said thank you, have a good day, no greeting. The young man checking receipts at the door said nothing, no hello, no thank you, nothing. I called the manager when I got in the car to tell him about the poor customer service and he didn't seem too concerned himself. I guess that attitude reflects on the employees. :( read more
