Terribly slow service. Bagged eating for fear I didn't bring my sleeping bag to stay over.

On valentines Adraina took our drink order and give us menus apone request. Drinks came right away. I order a whiskey and seven and the lady got a pink lemonade . Pink lemonade was fine but the whiskey and seven was absolutely ridiculous all soda no whiskey . We waited 25 minutes waiting for someone to come back about the whiskey which no one ever did so we chose to go up to Adraina and tap out . Told her the whiskey was just ridiculous and that I didn't even drink it . Her response was nobody went back there ???? We paid in full and left . Now there was maybe 20 people total in the bar at this time with more then enough bar tenders . Horrible Service and a a expensive glass of 7-up I didn't even drink ............. read more

If you are looking for a dark bar with an extensive beer list (huge, actually) and what seems like a hundred TVs, then this is your spot. Quite a few interesting characters in here, but this is our normal spot for watching college and NFL football. They've got all the games and will change whatever TVs you want. Service is good, they will always keep your beer full. If you don't mind that it's extremely dark, then I highly recommend! read more

I have been coming to Sam's for years. I love the atmosphere especially for football season! I know many of the waiters/waitresses and they are all great! However I came to Sam's just like any other night and simply asked how much a pitcher of Space dust was. Melody responded with "I'm not sure probably around $17-18." She came back slid it on the table and said "that's $22 bucks" and walked away. We were invested in the game and wanted another pitcher. We simply asked what your cheapest pitcher was and Melody actually responded with "you guys are so obnoxious! I don't know, All the pitchers are $15-25!!" So we asked for a menu and she said "we don't have one." At this point we were more insulted than anything so we went up to the bar and asked something along the lines of "what is the biggest bang for our buck", Mitch responded with "NOG for $19!". When melody came back and asked "do you know what you want yet" we said we wanted Nog. She mentioned it was $22 and we said well we literally just asked the bar and they told us $19. She begrudgingly said okay and brought us the beer. We then ordered some wings and truly they were great! Yet we found multiple human hairs in the sauce. At this point we left. Don't waste your time or money. this place was recommended to me by friends that live here. the bartender managed to serve me a beverage, take my food order, and throw my food at me without actually speaking to me. fish and chips with no silverware or option to attain any. Food was digestible and basic average bar food. Service (I have low expectations) was terrible. I travel for a living and am always looking for something local and real. this place is a unfriendly dump. bartender should get a job as a lighthouse keeper. read more

I went there with my wife. We were at the table. We ordered a couple of drinks and it took a long time to get the drinks. Then no one came back to check whether we need anything else.after waiting for an hour, I have to go to the bar to order drinks. They were distributing free chicken wings by going to each table. The waiter went to every table except ours. The waitress looked at me and deliberately went in different direction #discrimination. I would not recommend it at all. read more

I spent 5 or 6 weeks in the Tri-Cities on business and couldn't find a bar anywhere that had a broad enough sports package to play my game. After a week of searching, finally found this place. They threw the game on for me every night I came in and within a week were remembering my name and pouring my go to beer before I asked. The food is a bit above par for bar food, in my opinion. Bar had a great sports bar feel, awesome beer selection, and a solid crowd. Definitely the best bar for visitors to the Tri Cities, especially if you're trying to catch a game! read more

The free popcorn is an added bonus but the service has declined somewhat over the past few years.

My husband and I like to find good breakfast joints and this was recommended to us. I don't know what Andrew (see review below) was smoking but there isn't any breakfast for $5. The coffee is $2, and omelets are a bit spendy I think, at $9 - $11. The hashbrowns are usually really really good though and the omelets are big enough to take home for another meal. My biggest complaint is that they are usually understaffed and so service is pretty slow. We went on father's day - they had two servers and one cook for the whole place - took at least 45 min for our food. I have to say to the mgmt - schedule enough staff to serve your customers in a timely fashion - even though the food is good, I won't likely be back for a while after I had to waste over 1 1/2 hours for a quick breakfast. read more

It's a pretty nice bar. I mean, they have a BUNCH of TV's EVERYWHERE so it's great for watching the game. The food is pretty good for bar food. Sam's Saloon has a popcorn machine that is constantly popping fresh popcorn and you can have as much as you like. All in all, it's a good place to go if other bars are filled that night. read more

I went here on a slow Tuesday to celebrate my friend'a birthday and was very disappointed compared to past visits. We ordered our first round fine, but when we were ready for round two, our waitress was too busy chatting and eating at the bar to come check on us. When we saw her walking our way we thought she might come see what we needed but she left the establishment. The rest of the night we had to go to the bar to talk to a male server who acted like it was a huge inconvenience that we wanted to order more. We had to clear our own table and the food we ordered took 20 minutes to arrive. If the food was good I wouldn't have been so upset, but the fries we ordered were cold and the meat for the tacos tasted like it had been under a hot lamp all day. Don't expect them to have all the beers on tap available, most of them are usually out. Yeah they have a ton of Tvs, but all are on the same channel. I came into this bar after seeing a movie looking to get a beer or two...WOW the amount of beers they had on tap was amazing and I may have got more than two lol. More than the amount of beers they had, the stand out was the bar tender Mindy. She was AMAZING! When I came in she was getting buried in a huge rush, she took care of everyone all while joking with us and making it a very fun relaxed vibe...all while she was dealing with a rush of people and not everyone being so nice, yet she was kind and professional to everyone even those who weren't being so polite to her. All while she was training what seemed to be a new bar tender, showing her how to make drinks even when it slowed her down, but Mindy made time to train and help her co worker and take care of me and everyone in the bar basically on her own. I will not only go back to the bar myself, but I will also recommend my friends to come with me and or go in them selves and to ask for Mindy, and if she isnt there im guessing that all the bar tenders at Sam's are great based on how amazing the bar was when I was there. I had a great night! A real shout out goes to Mindy for making it even better, all while she was SUPER BUSY and did an AMAZING job! I will go back just for her. Went for Sunday brunch and to watch a Seahawks game. It was crazy busy but the service was still good. There are so many TVs I had a hard time focusing on one to watch. The food was good with enormous proportions (probably the largest chicken fried steak I've ever had). Sausage gravy was perfect. Everyone else in the party thought there food was good (eggs, bacon, etc.). I wish I lived closer so I could go here for happy hour! read more

Went out to grab some breakfast with my husband and was not disappointed! I ordered the chicken fried steak and it was so big it had to be on its own plate. Every bite was delicious and everything was cooked perfectly. My husbands meal looked good, but was a bit on the greasy side, however, we will be going back again to split the chicken fried steak. Service is painfully slow..... It took them over an hour to get my food out. If you're impatient, don't ever come here.

The beer selection here is pretty darn good, BUT the waitstaff are terrible. We had to call them over to our table every single time we needed something....like more beer or water. Come on. And then, they double charged us on our ticket. Terrible service. read more

i thought I'd give this place another try, since last time they were out half the beers on their tap and I was really hungry. I just ate the WORST practically-inedible hockey puck burger EVER. The black ipa was good- thanks Widmer. The waitress,Danielle,was really great--5 stars for her, negative stars on the food and price. My chewy lunch was definitely not an $8 burger. A beer and unfrozen beef patty with fries should not cost nearly $13 on a Wednesday afternoon--and, in Kennewick, a 200-mile half-day's drive from Portland. If you're a fly that really likes to watch 12 tv's at once, you'll love it here--I wasnt sure which one to look at, so I watched the four in front of me. Paper towel stations at every table--"are people really that messy here?" I'm thinking. I'll most likely never be back to this joint. Part of me wondered if I should have gotten the $5 mini tacos I spotted on the distant digital menu in the corner, though the other part thought they might be comparable to the hockey puck I was already choking down, or worse. If I'm going to spend enough to buy 8 Wendy's burgers (which taste better) and a six-pack of Widmer (the least expensive micro brew you'll find in a store in the nw), I'll either do exactly that, or go some place that at uses fresh meat and knows how to cook it. read more
