I ordered the Costillas BBQ pork, which is puerto rican/chinese style bbq boneless ribs with a sweet red sauce. It was excellent, and came with a hefty side of fried rice. The portions are HUGE, and I was able to make 2 meals off it. If you haven't already, give this place a try. read more

This is one of our favorite spots in the neighborhood. My fiancé is Puerto Rican from NY and this feels like right at home for him.

Honestly, this place is mid at best. I love their concept and what they have combined between cultures.... As a Puerto Rican, I try to be open minded. I tried this place two times and both times the food was so bad. Their sushi rolls were even bad, dry... no flavor. The pork chops are DRY. The fried rice has a weird flavor and isn't good. Nice little place tucked away in a strip center but don't let that fool you! Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Staff was friendly and informative. Was not sure what to expect with the Latin/Asian fusion theme but menu has great descriptions. The one "fusion" dish we tried was the Tostones Rellenos - avocado, spicy crab, eel sauce served on a crispy plantain??!! It was amazing!! We also tried the San Juan roll (minus the salmon) and the homemade dumplings. Both were very good and the dumplings were very authentic. Something in that dumpling sauce was super addicting! Coworker recommended this place, never even knew it was here. Small, dingy, (dirty floor and tables, got there around 3 pm) but I was there for takeout. BBQ ribs and pork fried rice were FABULOUS! I also got the pork spring rolls which were excellent. I should have eaten them on the way home, got a little soggy, but still tasted great. Definitely going for take out again. The servings are huge, we had enough to eat our fill for 3 meals, just had to sauté veggies for the last meal, but it was plenty. Most of the meals are around $13. Everything was tasty, most of the sushi is less than $10 per roll. The service is friendly, authentic people working there cooking the food. A gem in the Richmond/Katy area. Let's start with their hospitality. The owners there are amazing people. They are so warm and welcoming that it made me order more!!! Their food is amazing! Very nice Puerto Rican Chino Boricua. Fast food Service, Clean, and we love theirs Garlic Fries(really amazing here), tostones and mofongo, carne frita, and pretty much if everything on their menu. A mixture of Asian food with Latin food twist. You can find some pretty amazing sushi here and skirt steak and Asian stir fries. Amazing food, amazing price and amazing portion! When searching for "Latin cuisine" this restaurant popped up and had great reviews so my husband and I headed there for lunch. The menu is extensive with many options to satisfy your Latin cuisine desires and your Chinese and sushi desires. Between the two of us we ordered one sushi roll, tostones rellenos and carne fritas. Overall the food was decent, the carne fritas was served with fried rice and for an up charge you can do other sides such as fried plantain. There was a lot of food for $10. For the sushi roll it was a little bland and the tostones rellenos were super crispy for the plantain but the snow crab on top was a little too much and had excess dressing which look away from the crunch of the plantain. The atmosphere is decent and plain, it's counter ordering and then they bring you the food. It looked a little chaotic with stacks of beverages and paper plates/condiments stores in paper bags. Who knew there is such a thing as Chinese / Japanese/ Puerto Rican fusion foods? When the Mrs saw it on Yelp, naturally we had to make a run. We visited for lunch and checked out the menu. Basically the menu listed bang up of famaliar Cantonese and Puerto Rican foods with lots of sushi rolls and thrown in. We went with the Chinese BBQ pork plate with veggie fried rice and San Ajillo chicken with mofungo. We also got a cup of chicken soup to taste. We were surprised with so much food on the plates. Both the pork and chicken were seasoned perfectly and very tender. We tasted the Latino and Cantonese influences in the proteins. The fried rice was authentic and the mofungo was good with the additive pink sauce. The soup was good with chunks of yucca. The employees were super friendly and masked. The Chinese manager said she was originally from Venezuela, maybe this explained the Chino - Latino - Japanese mashed up. We will return to try the Japanese foods and other fusions. read more
