A hidden sweet spot in Downtown San Jose! I visited this store on a Wednesday at approximately 1:45 P.M., and it was empty. I ordered a single scoop of Cotton Candy Ice Cream (in a chocolate-with-sprinkles cone), and my boyfriend ordered a single scoop of Ube Ice Cream. The ice cream was sweet, not as sweet as I'd thought (I was expecting Baskin-Robbins-sweet), but it was fine. The cone was also not as sweet as I thought it would be, but again, I wasn't complaining, and my sweet tooth was satisfied. The store is super cute! I've never noticed it before, but I'm glad I did yesterday. There are a lot of goodies in the store, including popcorn, candies, ice cream, chocolates, fudge bars, etc.! A bit pricey, but great service and treats. The place is small and meant for take-out. I love getting the english toffee. The toffee comes in giant rectangles and it is so satisfying to take a bite out of it! I tried the rocky road fudge once, but it was too sweet for me. It was delicious and bearable after cutting the fudge into teeny tiny pieces. I also tried a slice of tiramisu, but it was frozen solid. I couldn't eat the frozen block of tiramisu with the plastic utensils they provided. I always come back for the toffee. read more

Big fan of the chocolate brownie extreme freakshake here! In fact, it's the only freakshake I've had in the Bay Area. Going into this place, I'd only heard of the concept of these extreme milkshakes (most of the stuff I'd find online are based in New York or somewhere else quite far away). I've gotten a little tired of the classic milkshake because let's face it--after a certain point, all milkshakes start tasting the same. Two different stores' chocolate milkshakes can only taste so different... ...unless you make it extreme as​ this place did! For $12, I was ready to have a brand new experience. It delivered, that's for sure. I got an overload of sweets and sugar and I was surprised at the fact that it helped me become full; that's not something I'd expect from eating dessert. The chocolate covered pretzels, candies and other delectable treats stacked on with this shake certainly helped! I also have to mention, for the milkshake liquid,​ you're allowed to choose which ice cream is used. I went for the cookies and cream, which turned out to be an EXCELLENT choice! Not to mention, the guy there gave me plenty of the cookie part of the ice cream so I got to have spoonfuls of that at the very end of my shake. Those final spoonfuls were what finally sent me into sugar shock and led to the moment where I knew I enjoyed something truly remarkable. We tried the watermelon, strawberry vanilla, unicorn, & red velvet. Even though I'm a huge red velvet fan, I was actually most impressed by their unicorn fudge! This is one of my favorite places to get something to nibble on and is one of my favorite old school sweet shops. Their dark chocolate almond clusters are by far the best I have and they make them in house. Also enjoy their dark chocolate strawberry's and peanut butter fudge. I mean, really all their sweets are pretty good. Also they take pride in their popcorn. When I miss Chicago I get the Chicago mix. I tried a variety of chocolates- gummy covered chocolates, walnut covered chocolates, chocolate covered s'mores, pecan caramel clusters, a few boxes of sour patch type of gummies and cheese/kettle popcorn.
