My younger daughter (10) absolutely loves tacos. I'd like to believe she loves me more, but...it's probably a toss-up. :-) When she and I go on "dates" we usually go for tacos; I am not a fan of tex-mex, so we usually end up trying smaller "mom and pop" places that offer a more authentic interior Mexican experience. If you've had real street tacos deep in the heart of Mexico, you know that Chuy's ain't the real deal. We like to look for the real deal. We've wanted to try San Pedro Limon for a while, but they close at 6 PM, so we hadn't had the opportunity yet; but this weekend we were out running errands and felt like an early dinner, so we decided to try it out (we got there about 5:30 or so). They were winding down for the day, but they were super nice. We were disappointed that they were out of aguas frescas (we were craving horchata), but that's our fault for straggling in at the last minute. No biggie. The girl had one beef taco, one chicken taco, and one sope (can't recall the meat she got on it). She thought all three were outstanding. I tried a bite of her beef and her chicken, and both were fantastic. I got the verde pork, and it's just absurd how flavorful it was. This dish should have some kick, and it does (the girl got a laugh out of how hard I was sweating), so if you don't like spicy, don't get it. But the flavor is just spot-on and absolutely fantastic. This will be our go-to for tacos from now on, assuming we're out and about early enough to get there before they close; can't wait to try the horchata. :-) read more

Best Mexican food in Georgetown, hands down. Homemade and Fresh tortilla and chips daily It can get crowded because so busy. This is due to the authentic Mexican food. I highly recommend the breakfast tacos. Or get an omelette and make your own taco for a more hearty meal. You should try this place at least once. Today I placed and order and usually we did on weekends but always when I called they never answer the phone until several times trying. And today the third time that my order is wrong . I called back to ask about the missing food and the cashier Melisa was very rude with me and usually she is in the same mood . really bad costumer service. Wow I think my search has come to an end for authentic non Tex Mex street tacos closer to my home . Nothing against Tex Mex just would like the option of having good street Tacos without going all the way to East Austin or settling for Tex Mex. Pros: Tortillas are from scratch.. they have a tortilla machine that cranks them out for you. I had the beef fajita and tripe tacos... yummy. Salsa and chips.. yummy. Menudo is tasty and FYI to those hominy lovers.. they don't add it just tripe Cons: just wish they can add more meat to the tacos and longer business hours.. at least on a Saturday. Also, if a nice ambience is a must for you, this is not the place so get it to go. It's a good small hole in the wall so for me, I don't care for the ambience , just some good tacos. Definitely my favorite Mexican restaurant in Georgetown! The environment is laid back and friendly. The staff is great and always accommodating. My go-to is a chicken fajita sope with a side of potatoes...the chicken is perfectly seasoned and the beans are incredible. Yelpers nailed this one, great little mexican tacos, they have a great big machine and two hard working ladies making tortillas, pretty cool to watch. We enjoyed all five tacos we bought, i enjoyed four of them. My wife loved her sausage, egg and cheese tacos on corn and flour tortillas...one of which found it's way to my plate....I had an al pastor, a beef fajita and a chorizo and egg taco...can't tell you which was my favorite 'cause they all fit that bill! They bring you two bottles of hot sauce, a green one that's tasty and a spicy red one, loved both of them, i also ordered a cup of coffee that i allowed my wife to taste and then had to fight her off of it ...it was very good coffee so i understood, it got refilled promptly...just part of the great service, this place comes in a very close second to Tortilleria Mama Sara's in Round Rock, they have more tables here though. The name must have changed from the last review. Came here based on the reviews and honestly, the tacos were okay. The corn tortillas were flimsy and fell apart, the barbacoa was salty, and the lengua was okay. Their orange salsa is pretty good. Our tacos weren't filled to the brim like described in some reviews. For so long I've searched for local authentic tacos.. I've finally found them!!! Living in Georgetown, it's pretty hard to find actual authentic tacos and today I found this gem. Thank you Lord! Beef fajita, cilantro, cream, green and red sauce with lime. Only $1.80 each!? Amen and amen and amen. You won't find better tacos than this place. It's hard to find good, authentic, Mexican food in Georgetown. This little spot is in a great location and has all the staples of a taqueria. I ordered the torta and it was a good size for the price and it had good fajita meat. The service was above what I expected since Georgetown is a different vibe. Tried San Pedro Limon for the first time. WOW! Probably some of the BEST mexican food I have had in a long time! We went for late lunch/early dinner around 3:00. Great service. Chips and salsa - good flavor and I really like the thick chips, very rustic and authentic. DH had the Tinga Chicken enchilada plate - great flavor and big portions. I had the Migas plate with rice and bean and flour tortillas. LOVED it! Best I have ever had! Not too spicy, but great, fresh flavor. And the freshly made, warm tortillas were heaven! We had the green and red sauces at the table and they, again, tasted very fresh with various heat levels, but still different flavors. All in all, probably my new favorite restaurant in Georgetown! After court one day, my mother and boyfriend and I were terribly hungry. According to my dear bf this place is the best. He was not wrong. I had the migas and shared a barbacoa taco with my mom and DAMN it was all so good. The barbacoa wasnt greasy like some places, it had a lot of cilantro and onion which is how I like mine, and there was so much stuffed in to the tortilla, it was great. My family and I stopped in for lunch as we just moved into Georgetown. My wife saw a few reviews and we decided to try it out. The open sign wasn't on so we just walked in and I guess the morning crew didn't bother to flip the switch. We didn't get greeted or seated until the two young hostesses decided who wanted to help us and who wanted to talk to their friends at another table. We got extra fried chips and salsa which even my son who loves tortilla chips didn't eat. I ordered a fajita beef torta and 3 Al Pastor tacos, the torta was drenched in sour cream with very little actual meat so I just ate it with a fork. Tacos were good about the same at most Mexican restaurant places. I'm sure the more mature crew is better as it felt like these servers didn't want to be there. Doubtful I'll return. read more

Docked one star bc I generally like to call in to order takeout and this place NEVER answers their phone and when I order to go, it always takes over 25-30 minutes to get the food.
