The restaurant was very nice. Danny was really nice and offered great recommendations. Bathroom was very clean as well. Sandwhich I got was the Carson! Definitely recommend it! I'll be back

Stopped in for a quick bite and ordered the Torrance. It was so darn good. I would describe it as an elevated Philly cheesesteak. The meat was super soft and flavorful, cheese was plentiful, and bread to meat ratio was on point. The best part about the sandwich is that the sandwich is on a French baguette Banh mi, and so soft that I even ate the ends of the bread. If you read my reviews you know I can't have hard or extra chewy foods cause of this, and I usually cut the ends or tear off and throw away the ends of a baguette but it's so good and soft here! Definitely a top contender if I am in the area again.

Friendly service Fair pricing ($13/ sandwich ~8" French roll) Feb 2024 Good ingredients Not a BYO sandwich spot, but ingredients and sandwich offering is pretty good Ordered a Carson and a Western (no tomato, personal preference) Sandwiches were ready quickly (less than 10 minutes) Bread was quality, sandwiches were tasty. I'll be back for sure. Hubby was impressed too. If you are open to trying a chefs creation with some fries or onion rings on the side, this is your spot! If you want to make your own sandwich, maybe not so much.

How is this tiny French roll sandwich come out to $14... with no sides or drink!?

Ordered the Del Amo... tuna sandwich. Pro - Del Amo sandwich had a lot of flavor - the French roll tasted fresh and was yummy - Yelp check in gets you a free drink Con - a lot of Mayo - the bread roll was small - way too expensive - they don't serve aguas frescas anymore - the wait was a bit long - parking lot is crowded - thought I'd have leftovers but too small - tuna and onions = bad breath Even though I enjoyed my sandwich, I would not go back because it's not a good value.

Carson. Just a wet mess and a sliver of bland turkey.

First time here and probably be my last unless in a pinch. I got the "Carson" which is advertised as turkey, avocado, bacon, ranch spread, provolone, lettuce, tomato, red onion, and mayo. I'm allergic to avocado so I asked if I can sub it out for something else. I was told that I would have to pay extra for substitutions unless I wanted extra lettuce. That just rubbed me the wrong way. Avocado is an expensive ingredient and I think to add an extra slice of bacon or turkey as a courtesy would be a comparable substitute. When I got it back to my office about 5 minutes later (as I work around the corner), I opened the bag to only to be greeted by a soggy mess. Sandwich was lathered in mayo and ranch dressing. This was further excerbated by shredded lettuce that was probably rinsed but not properly drained and dried. Turkey was bland and overall there was nothing redeeming about the sandwich. I ended throwing trashing it as it got too messy to eat after strugglng to get through half.

Feeling very disgusted. Restaurant looked clean and the staff was friendly. There were two men sitting together waiting for their food, not crowded at all but my sandwich still took a little longer than I expected. It was not properly wrapped in the paper, bread exposed, but the biggest issue which is turning my stomach is that the sandwich was dripping and a piece of hair fell out with it. If that wasn't enough, the bread was hard and there was a fingerprint on top from the avocado. I will never go back, even if it was free.

**2020 Pandemic** Ordered here through Door Dash a couple months ago. It was rated high on there. The sandwiches have local town names which makes it interesting. I ordered the Carson sandwich because it seemed to be a popular one and it was what I was craving. It was good, but for the price it was a bit expensive. To much bread, not enough meat. Nothing too amazing. I will order again just to try it the other sandwiches because they do look good.

[Review #551] 2020 Yelp 100 Challenge (57/100) Yeah, I know I can slap together a sandwich... some deli meats, cheese, the usual veggies fillings, & condiments in between 2 slices of bread or on a roll. But what you don't know is there's an art to crafting a delicious & satisfying sandwich, & that's where Sandwich Blvd comes in. I had this place flagged awhile back when I was going through a sandwich phase... because I was too busy with work to make a hot meal so I was making a quick bite to eat = sandwiches. This restaurant is located in a small retail plaza off busy Western Blvd. that contains a car wash, 7-Eleven, & a couple of restaurants with a decent amount of parking. From the outside, it's pretty non-descript with a plain looking green street sign; the inside is compact & bright with no-frills decor & a bright green wall being the focal point by the order counter. Still under COVID-19 lockdown, all the furniture is stacked & pushed aside in the dining room, =( but they have patio seating should you choose to dine onsite. =) Their safety measures are on par with social distancing standards: staff wears masks, contactless payment, hand sanitizer provided, outdoor seating. Based on their namesake, they specialize on sandwiches from traditional to fusion sandwiches. The current menu is more limited than its heyday. I called in my order, & chose TORRANCE (Korean marinated ribeye steak, American & provolone cheeses, bell peppers, white onions, spicy mayo), which I think is a twist on the Philly cheesesteak, with an order of FRENCH FRIES & a drink (free with Yelp check-in). The server has a pleasant voice... friendly & very polite. =) I liked that my sandwich was still warm & the bread was still toasty by the time I got home. The French roll was surprisingly tasty, & you can tell it was made in-house by its taste & texture. If you prefer something other than their fresh roll, they also offer a spinach wrap, flour wrap, or a lettuce bowl aka "protein style." The ribeye was tender & flavorful, skewing to the salty side, with perfectly melted cheeses, grilled onions & bell peppers, & the spicy mayo added a nice l'il kick. The ratio of filling:bread is just right... it was a most unctuous & delish sandwich! The fries didn't stand out in any particular way, but they were crispy like the way I like them. The portion was quite skimpy (barely a couple of oz.), especially for the price, like the sandwich; it might have been worth it if they filled the container a little bit more. Counter service was friendly & polite... she was too nice that she even offer my son a cookie... my l'il guy's lucky day! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ They offer free deliveries on the weekdays with a $20.00 min. order & if you live within a 2-mi. radius; I'm just 1/4-mi. outside of that range. Boo...hoo... hoo... ( T o T ) I grabbed a menu for future return trips. Did you know they have a Taco Tuesday? Torrance Tacos for $7 & Tater Tot Tacos for $6 (comes in a pack of 3 mini corn tortilla tacos), served while supplies last. Prices are on the higher side in terms of portion size, not quite the bang for your buck; however, the sandwiches are quite tasty that will have you craving for more! Sandwich Blvd is one of the better sandwich shops in the South Bay that's worth trying if this is your thing. Tip: Check-in on Yelp for a free drink (as of October 2020). Recommended: Torrance (yum!).

Amazing food and amazing service. Great for lunch. Definitely a great place to see their Sesame Street theme design.

First Timer HIGHLY-RECOMMEND One of the best sandwich spots I've tried in a long while and I'm not a huge sandwich person. Like when I'm hungry, I never crave sandwiches and say "I want a sandwich." Haha I tried out the Torrance Blvd. on a French roll which is a marinated Korean bulgogi beef Philly cheesesteak style sandwich with spicy Mayo on the side. Bread was well toasted, cheese was abundantly stringy, and the FREE drink with Yelp check-in was cool too. I just wish there was more meat in the sandwich, seemed a little skimpy. However, the blast of flavor from the marinated bulgogi itself made up for this. Soooo delicious and highly recommend! Get your TORRANCE BLVD sandwich now!!!

We were on the hunt for a good sandwich and came across this place. It's cool how they name their sandwiches after streets/cities in the surrounding area. Currently, they aren't doing dine-in because of COVID but you can easily place an order online and pick it up. I got the Crenshaw and I thought it was good. If you're looking for your typical Italian sandwich with deli meats (turkey and salami) and banana peppers, this is the sandwich for you. While I enjoyed the contents inside the sandwich, I wish the bread was a bit crispier and softer. There wasn't the same crunch I usually get from a sandwich like Bay Cities. It's tough to compare the two but all in all, this is a decent sandwich shop if you're looking for a quick bite. We also got an order of tater tots and they were so bad. They were not crispy or crunchy at all. It was soft, dull and tasteless! You really have to dunk the tots in ketchup to mask the lackluster taste.

I love a good hot sandwich, and this one might be one of the best I've had. The marinara tasted super fresh and just pulled everything together perfectly. Also grabbed a lemonade and it tasted like it was freshly made. So refreshing and the perfect pairing. Parking isn't the easiest (meter only), but that's pretty expected being so close to the beach. What I received looked like someone emptied half a jar onto the bread. The photos speak for themselves. If this is what "light mayo" looks like, I'd hate to see the regular order. The problems didn't stop there. The lettuce was soggy, the bread wasn't toasted and the tomatoes looked bruised and well past their prime. This wasn't a sandwich made with any sense of care or pride. It was sloppy. What makes it worse is that I brought my sister here instead of one of her usual sandwich spots because I've had enough good experiences to recommend it. Of course, the one time I convince someone else to try it, this is what comes out of the kitchen. We also asked for Zab's hot sauce and somehow ended up with extra mayo and spicy mayo instead, along with additional charges. Between that and paying $4 for a Diet Coke, the entire experience felt like nobody was paying attention. Every restaurant has an off day. I get that. But when you're charging premium prices, customers shouldn't have to wonder whether anyone looked at the sandwich before wrapping it up. There are too many great sandwich shops in the South Bay to spend money on food that leaves the counter looking like this. After years of being a regular, this was enough for me to move on.
