I have never written a yelp review but after coming here, I had to share with everyone what a great experience I had!!! I had read the reviews and was looking for a good place to get my nails ariel themed before my trip to Disneyland. I made appt with Mai at 1. When I got there it was a little busy, I wasnt seen till about 1:25 but didnt let it get me down. Mai was busy with previous clients, I figured she must be a pretty popular lady. So another lady put on my fake nails and did a pretty good job. She was really nice and did everything I asked for. After that Mai came over and planned out how we wanted my nails. She was so sweet about it and loved my ideas. I was anxiously anticipating the end results and they were more than I could have asked for! She did an amazing job and I will be returning!!! First of all, I was not offered the complimentary drink menu the other guests all around me received. Secondly, the pedicure was nice but I asked for hotter water twice and it was still just warm. Finally, a lady came in that was obviously a regular. So my manicure that should have been relaxing was short, rushed, and unfinished. I wasn't even offered clear polish like I am used to. Mai does a great job with manicures. She's super detail oriented and very creative if you like designs/artwork. I did have a toe-nail polish change and wasn't too impressed (the polish didn't span the entire width of my toe nails and there was still left over polish that wasn't removed and could be seen around the newly painted nails). I wasn't going to leave a review but after having nails done at OMG Nails twice since my experience at Sandy's, I feel compelled to leave a review. Randy put on a full set for me back in May. It was the worst acrylic set I have ever had in 40 years. I called them ski slopes. They headed up hill from the base to the tip. I asked for Mae because of the positive reviews here but Randy said she did not do full sets and that he would do for me. He kept bragging about how good he was as he was doing them. I will never go here again. I went to OMG Nails where they removed the ski slopes and put on new tips correctly. read more

My daughter and I went in for manicures on a Monday, by Tuesday her nails had already chipped as though they had been on for a week. They did redo her nails on a Wednesday but by Thursday they were all chipped again. Went in to have them correct it or refund for this problem. They would not refund or redo her nails because "it costs money to do....and natural nails don't last" and "there is nothing I can do" Which makes this place an extremely poor choice for manicures. When I asked about prices, they were straight forward and pretty much standard to what other salons charge. I was so happy I thought I found a great nail place. Last experience may have ruined it. Sandy is a sweet lady always so helpful and goes over/beyond. My is super friendly and does a great job. They've always helped me and I've loved coming in. Well today Sandy's hubby/My's Dad did my nails. I just came in for gel color. Not a manicure just polish. You ever feel like your annoying someone because you're making them do something they don't want to? That is exactly how I felt. He rushed through it and said maybe one word to me. He pointed to the gel dryer, pointed to my hands, and was just in my opinion very unfriendly. You're in the customer service business so put on a happy face. During this time both Sandy and My were being very friendly and nice. Sandy helped me with my color choice. Which I love. Anyway he was done in 20-25 minutes and I went to pay. $23 for color only. Hmm seemed very high to me for a 20 minute rush job. I never question cost if service is good and I leave happy.
