    Steak tips
    Tammy F.

Our waitress, Chloe, was very kind. You could tell it was a busy night for them. My husband ordered the large bone-in ribeye medium rare. I ordered the steak tips medium rare. Both meats came back a bit dry to what we would consider overdone. My husband's steak was medium well and my steak tips were cooked well done. Chloe, our waitress, said if that's not acceptable then she would take them back. After a little debate, between ourselves, we don't like to send back food and we've only done it once, years before at an Outback. This time my husband ordered his rare but I didn't. I asked for medium rare. One of the Manager's brought our food out and she was obviously not happy. She asked us to cut into the steaks to see if it was acceptable. My husband poked the outside and said he knew his would be okay. My husband apologized for sending it back and it being medium well. The Manager said, "well, if you would have cut into it deeper it would have been just perfect." You buy the steak to have an even cooked steak, not one that is burnt on one side and raw on the other! The idea behind steak is that it is evenly cooked! My husband poked his steak and knew he could eat it. I cut into mine and it was rare and inedible for me but I didn't bother to say anything. We never send anything back twice. The Manager, in a snippy manner, said, "the other steak was perfect." My husband said, "I've cooked enough steak to know what they feel like. I can eat the meat under a branding iron and consider it cooked." So, the steaks, at least for us on this day, were a miss. I hope the Manager has a better day tomorrow. God Bless Chloe who was stuck in the middle. We will eat here again despite the miss. I won't eat the steak tips again, I'll find something else to eat. Their salads are bomb!

Not sure if our waitress was new, but she charged me full price on the chicken tortilla soup that I added to my lunch order. I asked her about it, and she told me I was mistaken. She said it was $1.99 to have a soup or salad instead of a side for the lunch menu. We had to ask someone else if she was correct. Wish I have taken a photo of the fried catfish from the lunch order. There wasn't much at all. All four stalls in the women's restroom had toilet paper and/or poop.

Best food in Glenpool hands down. Went to Whataburger next door, 40 minutes for food. Left and came to Santa Fe. The staff was extremely friendly, we had Krislyn who was so sweet and knowledgeable on menu. The tacos were excellent! I will definitely order again. The price on point . I haven't tried Santa Fe in years, but will be back.

This was for the table next to us. There was an issue with the food and manager came to their table.

We've eaten here many times but on Saturday night March 16, 2024 we were totally disappointed. Russell was our server and he should be given more training and support before working a busy Saturday by himself. Both tables beside us were also having trouble with their meals/orders. We had to request he bring the rolls (2 were edible the other 2 were hard and a bit burnt). By the time he brought rolls, we had already finished our salads & he didn't even bring us the plates to put our rolls on. We asked for steak sauce when he brought our steaks to the table but he never brought it so we finally went and got it ourselves. Nothing was ever cleared off the table so it was challenging to get the leftovers in the box as there wasn't any room with all the dirty dishes, roll basket and salad dressing sitting on our small round table in the bar section. We never saw Russell again after getting our ticket so we finally asked if we could have someone else process our payment. She said "No, but I'll let your server know." When he brought our receipt to sign he also gave us the ticket for the table next to us. Luckily both tickets were for the same amount so we didn't notice until we got home.

Come see Gella at the bar for the best service! The pasta was a surprise, delicious and will get it again.

I have not had any better in Oklahoma or New Mexico. Here it is, authentic red chili sauce, made with dried chilis; the green sauce, made thick and chunky with fresh tasting peppers. These are the real deal. The name of the restaurant doesn't properly portray Andy's food offerings. "Bar and Grill" limited my expectation to bar food: burgers, fries, wings and fried appetizers. A scan of the menu reveals the capabilities of the cook and the wide variety offered. Brunch to dinner, omelets to pancakes, salads to steaks, and from the bar, beer and mixed drinks. And then there are the New Mexican platters. I spotted the red sauce in the pictures! A Steak Burrito for me with both red and green (Christmas Style) and the pork tamales for my wife also Christmas style. Both with beans, rice, a little salad, and pico de gallo for decoration. Exceptionally delicious meals. The sauces did not disappoint. The tamales were well seasoned perfection. And the nice part you get to have it your way. A bite with red sauce, then a bite with green sauce. No disappointment in any savory spicy bite. Need heat? Ask for salsa picante. It is fierce. The owners are Pedro and Bianca. Bianca, a very pleasant and personable young lady who provided attentive friendly service. She was a pleasure to meet. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. It is decorated inside to give a New Mexico ranch house feel. A large outside dining area is available. Andy's Bar and Grill, wonderful food and service. More than just a bar and grill. My top choice for New Mexican style food.

Decided to ask the former fire chief for a recommendation and he said try Crossroads Cookery. Our friends wanted to go antiquing so this was right in the heart of Sapulpa's antique area, so perfect place for lunch. I really enjoyed all the care they took with making it feel nostalgic but classy at the same time. It's a lovely restaurant but they also have an ice cream parlor area, bar and coffee bar. Now the food was ok for some of us and one in our party got a way overcooked burger that was dry so it sucked for her. My Santa Fe bowl was so good and I recommend it. Hubby got the string onions for the table to share and they were delicious. Our server was really interesting and friendly as well as took care of us. We'll definitely go back during the Christmas Chute!

You know when you kind of love a place so much you almost don't want the whole world to find out…read moreabout it? That was this place for me. I had noticed it before when visiting the Christmas Chute, but the reviews were a little mixed so we never gave it a try. Fast forward to this weekend when we got invited to a birthday at the speakeasy upstairs... and I'm so glad we finally went. First of all -- they're doing a great job with the speakeasy concept because I genuinely had no idea it was there. It's upstairs above the restaurant and you need a code word to get in. Since we were already there, we decided to have dinner first and the menu honestly surprised me in the best way. It's very much Southern comfort food, but elevated a bit. The vibe inside is eclectic and interesting. The staff was super friendly, and even on a Saturday night it wasn't overly busy. The new streets in Sapulpa look great now that the construction is finished, but because most of the parking is behind the buildings the street can look like a ghost town even when places are actually busy. Kind of a weird illusion. They start you off with bread and a trio of fresh butters which was unexpected and delicious. The bread itself wasn't anything fancy, but the butter definitely was. I wasn't very hungry, so I ordered from the kids menu (which I very much appreciated did not say "12 and under"). I got a grilled cheese and the waitress suggested adding a cup of tomato bisque. Yes please. Both were excellent. My husband ordered the grilled chicken and said it was moist and really good. They also have a full bar and a huge coffee bar, which I thought was a fun touch. Then we headed upstairs to the speakeasy and it's a whole different vibe up there. Very cool space. Also extremely eclectic. Think Tommy Bahama meets world traveler's curio cabinet. There were travel finds from around the world displayed in cases, parrot chandeliers, a baby grand piano, and a cheetah print pool table. It somehow all works. Live music was by Steve Lindell and he was fantastic. Two thumbs up. Bar service was great, just a little slow -- but to be fair I don't think they were expecting a 40-person birthday group to roll in all at once. All in all it was a fantastic night. If it wasn't about 45 minutes from my house, we would probably be regulars. But maybe it's okay if it stays just a little bit of a hidden gem.

Let me tell you, I didn't go wrong as having the pork belly again, the filet and the salmon hit the spot. As did the mix medley veggies. While it was a business dinner, others, like me, spent more time discussing the great food than anything else. The restaurant interior was cute and the overall air of the room felt classy and matched what was delivered on the plate. Last, our waiter was just exceptional. Upon arriving at my table, I was offered still and sparkling water to drink and my server was very attentive to my needs and kept both of my water glasses full. I ordered the chicken piccata. The chicken picatta came with a generous helping of three pieces of chicken served with a buttery pan sauce and capers alongside whipped potatoes. The chicken was excellently cooked and was tender and moist with ever-so-slightly crisped edges. The sauce was tangy and the capers added a bite that worked perfectly with it on a way that really made the chicken piccata shine as a dish. The whipped potatoes did not have a lot of flavor on their own, but meshed well with the pan sauce. At the conclusion of the meal, the check came with an Andes mint. I love those, and while it is a small gesture, it made me smile and improved my evening just that little bit more. This was a great experience with great food! 4.5/5
