The southwest chicken club salad is awesome, so is the steak Cesar salad (its actually the best steak I've had here). The chicken nachos are really good, the enchiladas are actually delicious and the grilled southwest shrimp is awesome. The steaks are their weakest point for being a steak house. Asked for directions to restroom and the young hostess walked me all the way to the door. Alrighty then! Service was prompt. Menu typical of most steak chains like Texas Roadhouse, Logan's, etc. prices were lower but that could be the area. Peanuts on the table... Not salted. Yuck. Ordered 16oz ribeye, loaded fries, cinnamon apples. Requested medium well. Came out promptly and cooked right. That is a rarity in these steak joints but they nailed it. This is the most often visited steak restaurant we visit. The kids love this place with the peanuts and friendly staff. This place is so good we often find ourselves waiting 20 minutes just to get a seat. I never had a bad steak, rib or burger. The kid meals are cheap (that's good for a family of 5). We always ask for table 65 because its a corner booth right by the restrooms (another plus for a family of 5). Good family and friends style eatery. Similar to Chili's and TGIF with a rural cowboy feel. Amazingly a great hamburger offered in several topping style all of which are good. They grind their own ground beef on site daily. Large 8 oz patty grilled with fresh topping. My wife and I have eaten here several times since our move to Tulsa area this year. We have also tried the fajita and fried catfish all of which we excellent with wide selection of sides. Good selection of beers both bottle and draft but limited brands of wine but most of the popular styles are offered. We have not tried and of the deserts but I have been very pleased with their side salads. I can't close without saying to say yes when they offer their rolls. Light,warm, tasty yeast rolls with sweet brown sugar butter on the side. Best fresh rolls I've had at any restaurant. Pricing is reasonable and staff have been helpful and pleasant in our visits this year. They advertise as a steak house and I have seen numerous steaks served but have not tried any of the selection. Lets start with the food... Here is what was ordered at our table and how it was. appetizers... we ordered chips and queso... Chicken Fajitas and a medium well steak. The chicken was fine, well what little chick there was... the bulk of the fajitas was nothing but a pile of onions with a few slivers of pepper and bits of chicken added for decorative purposes. The steak? Well it was supposed to be medium well, it was beyond well done. In most places you would order a steak medium well and after it was eaten you would see juices from the steak pooling on the plate... this was so over cooked the plate remained bone dry. Service... well our served stopped by once to ask about a refill... That was it... even to take back the greasy chips I had to get up and find someone. The food wasn't brought by the server it was delivered by someone else. To start with when we walked in the door teenagers were the host/ hostess. They were not friendly at all. One of them took us to a both said nothing a laughed as she walked away. Here comes the waitress not smiling not friendly and asks for our drink order, we wanted an appetizer but was not sure what we wanted. Needless to say she just stood there with a disgusted look on her face as if to say could you hurry. It wasn't like she couldn't have went and got the drinks and came back for the order. The waitress did check on us a few times but never enough to make you give them a 20% tip. We get our meal and it was decent but doesn't compare to my favorites and I won't mention the names. It is now time to leave our bill for 2 meals and an appetizer is $60. That's not a bad price if you're getting a great meal and great service. Btw i did leave her a 15% tip that i do not feel was earned. It is now time to leave, as we are walking out we pass 3 teenage host/hostess, mind you not one of these disrespectful children said thank you, have a nice day or even bye. We are exiting the building and 2 more employees are in the waiting area and neither one of them said one word. This was the worst experience i have ever had! My friend and i came in to have lunch around 11:00am. We were quickly seated and were rushed to order. When we recieved our food my gravy tasted awful and was very lumpy,and my chicken tasted undercooked and chewy. My friend ordered a light pairing and it says potato or sweet potato, half a santa fe club and a soup or salad. She was only given 2 items and was told she couldnt get the half sandwhich. My family and I went to Santa Fe at 6:30 on a Saturday night. We had a large party, but we called ahead. There was still a little bit of a wait to get a table, but with 8 adults and 3 kids, you can't complain about a short wait. The area they seated us in was a little cramped. I don't think they have any better options because of the layout of the restaurant. Our waiter arrived, and seemed a little flustered. He tried to overcompensate for this by making some jokes, but they fell kind of flat and he came off as kind of rude. He took our drink orders and left. It was several minutes before our drinks and the fresh rolls came. We then waited for quite a while before he came back to take our food order. By this time, the rolls were gone and many of our drinks were empty. Once he finally got around to taking our order, it was a slow process. He got flustered by an order that one of my family member's ordered and it threw him off. He then acted frustrated when we asked for more rolls. It was at least 10 minutes before we got more rolls and longer than that before our food finally came. I got the 6 oz. sirloin, cooked medium well. It was definitely more well-done, but after the wait, I didn't send it back. The meat was decent, and my baked potato and steamed vegetables were fine. A few other members of my party got steak that was either under or over cooked as well. Overall the service was lacking and the food wasn't anything to write home about. I have had better luck here in the past, so I'll give it another try sometime, but if I'm looking for a good steak, I'll go somewhere else. read more
