My automobile had some problems that prevented it from starting while I was on my lunch break. After all the trouble of attempting to jump start it myself and it not working, I assumed I'd just call to have it towed and deal with the problems later. I discovered this business while looking for towing services around me. The dispatcher was able to swiftly assist me and direct me to the nearest driver who could tow my vehicle. I called every so often (about three times) to check on the status of my driver/car and the projected arrival time of my vehicle. Because of how efficient and dependable the service was, I will definitely use it again if I need my car towed. Worst tow ever! Had to have son's car towed from Sam,s club in Lenexa approximately 100 yards and got charged $125 and yet bill was over $130. First time and last time. Use overland Tow Service. They don't overcharge. Worst yet, is driver didn't know how to do a manual overdrive to get car in neutral. A simple google search. When I saw driver pull car into drive bed, front wheels were locked due to ignition switch on car locked. Therefore; driver had to essentially drop car horizontally to get car off bed of flatbed. $125 plus a surcharge for whatever? Used your company once and never again! read more

Tow truck driver was very rude and unprofessional yelling at me, just because i told him where to tow vehicle. I was taken back because I just got out of a single vehicle roll over crash. Highway patrol was super cool. Sante Fe diver gave me one price. Then I called she gave me a price then I showed up paid a different price. I would never recommend them to Tow a big wheel. I would absolutely recommend using them and not calling anyone else. Towing is a difficult occupation and they make it look easy. During the snow storm, my car slid off into an embankment and was stuck. I called Santa Fe Tow Service and the person who answered the phone was very nice and helpful. They said the Tow Truck would be there i n 35 minutes and it was! :) I feel bad that I don't remember the driver's name, but I really appreciated how conscientious he was regarding safety. He was very professional and communicated everything he was doing. He successfully pulled my Mercedes out of the embankment and I was able to drive home. I arranged to have my car towed 31 miles. Before getting my car hooked up, I was informed that it would be $150 to hook the car up and $5 per mile, which I agreed to. When the work was done, I was charged the hookup fee, the mileage, and also a $61 "fuel surcharge" that was not previously disclosed. You pay for mileage AND a fuel surcharge? That doesn't make sense. When you pay by mile, that's to cover the cost of fuel. My insurance wouldn't reimburse me for the fuel surcharge. So, I called Santa Fe Towing, requesting reimbursement for the duplicative "fuel surcharge" that was not disclosed and agreed to beforehand. They refused to reimburse that bogus $61 fee on an a $366 bill for a tow of 31 miles. read more

My son somehow got his keys stuck in my Chevy Equinox and PK the dispatcher and Allen one of their senior drivers were able to help him get the keys out walking him through it over the phone. Thank you for your help. read more

Blew two tires on the I35 and insurance told us it would be 4 hours before anyone could tow us. We called Santa Fe Tow and they had someone to us in 20 minutes! The diver Donny was super nice and quick at getting the car loaded and unloaded. Hopefully we don't need a tow again but if we do it'll be Santa Fe. read more

In my attempt to be as forgiving and balanced as possible, I'm throwing out my utter dislike with my current apartment building's policies and shadyness. In reality, my lack of attentiveness resulted in the towing of my vehicle by Sante Fe Towing because of my building's need to do some pavement work in the lot where I happened to be parked. Stupid me. Result? Picture me walking 2 miles to pick up said vehicle with every nasty thought trickling through my mouth and mind. Suffice to say, I was pissed. But, it was my fault and the people at Sante Fe were very nice, so much so as to laugh hysterically at my joke about putting the bill on my bathroom mirror as a reminder of my incompetence. :) I guess they did a good job because when I woke up in the morning, my means of transporation had vanished David Copperfield style. It made the journey in one piece and waited for me to arrive to pay up. I think the rates are outrageous though. $150 for just the first day. Since I was completely caught off guard by the hijacking, thankfully I was able to get over there the same day or the fee would of increased upward to $300. That just isn't right. Kind service but high prices = ONLY get towed if you need it, NOT because you're an idiot. It makes all the difference. :) read more

Out of town with a flat, they came in about an hour and got it changed. The driver was super nice and showed me how to change my tire and how to lower down my spare (new car, I had never changed a truck tire before) and recommended where to get my tire patched. Great service! read more

I've used Santa Fe Tow FOUR TIMES now -- elderly cars, with issues...and they have always been *excellent.* After my first experience, I have requested the same driver (Dez) who is speedy, friendly, and really knows what he's doing. He arrives soon after I request service and takes great care with my vehicles. They aren't "cheap" but I feel they're reasonable. They use high-end equipment and technology, and that--plus the expertise of the tow and recovery drivers--is worth it, in my opinion. A friend of mine, who socializes quite a bit with local police officers, told me that the officers have told him that Santa Fe Tow is honest and they do good work. That recommendation is enough for me to keep using them when I need tow service, and I have never been disappointed. read more

Please forward this to Jon Kupchin, Carrie Kupchin, Kaileigh Kupchin and the direct supervisor/manager. -- I got a flat tire today due to a pothole and ended up about 43rd Terr and Mission in KCK. The initial call went out at 3:22PM through the Tesla roadside service app. I was totally stressing out in my head until your driver/operator (I don't know the terminology, I'm sorry) arrived. I had been literally driving home from a doctor appt. to deal with anxiey medication. This was (obviously) the last thing I wanted to deal with. I had left the scene and was in the middle of a haircut. When he called, he was totally professional and calming. He needed tools out of my car and I was able to open the trunk remotely (I can't decide if technology is amazing or just creepy and I'm a security engineer!). He installed my loaner wheel in 17 minutes and called to let me know it was taken care of. I have nothing but compliments. The procedure with Tesla and spare wheels is amazing, the response time was amazing and your operator was just absolutely fantastic. Please give him my personal thanks. If I had been able to see him in person, I'd have at least given him a 6-pack for later (I don't know what your cash tipping policy is). I want to say this is probably the 3rd time I have used your services in my 40 years of existence and they all were fantastic. I called Santa Fe Tow the week of June 25th. I asked them to move a storage shed and set up an appointment for June 29th. My husband took off work to make sure that I did not have to worry about the transition. (we live in the country and it is hard to find) I finally called around 1:00 and asked for Pat. Pat seemed appalled that I expected him or his company to perform as they had promised because they were short handed. I was spoken to in the exact phase, "That's not going to happen! Were shorthanded!". I understand that things come up, but why didn't they just call and tell me instead of my husband waiting around for them? Thinking that I just caught Pat in the wrong moment, I called back the next week, TWICE, and messages. I NEVER received a call back. If you are depending on someone to get you out of a rut, DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY! They were going to charge me $300.00 for their service. Easily the best experience I have ever had with a Tow company. My car was stuck inside my garage, and it was a complicated job to be able to get it out without damaging anything. Bill showed up quickly, was polite, thorough and very conscientious. He did a great job! In addition, the front office staff was very courteous and helpful in getting me taken care of. I scheduled an appointment for 10:30 a.m. to move a 5th wheel from a residence to a farm 12.6 miles away. I was given a quote of $156.00. I was expecting a pickup truck, but they sent a truck so big it would not fit in the driveway. The driver took pictures and sent them to the company. We were told the only truck that could do it was on a tow and we would have to wait for it to get back so it would be around noon. They were given my son's phone number to call and let us know a more precise time they would be there. Around 3:30 my son called them to see what was going on and was told the driver was on the way. He finally go there an hour or so later and decided he could not move it the way it was sitting. Granted, the truck had to go through a neighbor's yard to back up to the trailer and there was a stone retaining wall running down one side of the driveway, which was inconvenient, but not impossible. He called for a second wrecker to come out and move the back end of the 5th wheel over a few inches so he could back it out of the driveway. Finally, some time around 6:30 p.m. the trailer made it to the farm. Would have been great, but they refused to park it where we wanted it, dropped it in the most uneven spot in the whole place and left it with the driver telling my son that "it's here". Now we have to find someone to tow it 50 feet. Not only did we spend 8 frustrating hours waiting on them and my son losing a day of work, but they charged us "wait time" and it ended up costing us $306.00. I am beyond frustrated! read more

I have had nothing but trouble with this company. They say they are a family company but they are not. The dispatch is rude and gets attitude when asking questions. You talk to their boss/owner of the company (Doug) doesn't care how you are treated either. He makes up excuses for why his dispatch is rude. WIsh I could give 0 stars. Don't use them if you don't have to! I had no choice because that is who my insurance company chose, probably because they are cheap. They made me sign for my car BEFORE letting me look at it. The driver almost hit my other car and almost took out my neighbors mail box. Then my he tried to raise the flat bed while it was still under my car's bumper, causing damage that can not be fixed. They said they shouldn't have to pay for it because the bumper had previous damage. THE PREVIOUS DAMAGE WAS CHIPPED PAINT, WHICH CAN BE EASILY FIXED I have to replace the entire bumper because of their ignorant driver! Also, parts of my interior were damaged and other parts were missing. They refuse to take responsibility for it. DON'T USE THEM THEY NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN read more
