Another disappointment. The atmosphere here is nice. It's in your trendy hipster part of Brooklyn if you're into that. I suppose they're known for their pizza but we were looking for Italian food and although it says Italian it's not what I expected at all. There were about 4-5 Italian pastas to choose from...that's it. None of which were what you expected at an Italian restaurant. I ordered a lemonade to drink and it was gross. This place is amazing !! I love the atmosphere and all of the staff greeted us as we walked in the door. It was a very warm welcome. I called ahead of time to see if they had availability around 9:30, they don't take reservations over the phone but told me they would be able to take us. You walk into a nice small waiting area with tables, it took 3 minutes to get a table! It was packed so I was surprised that they seated us so quickly! You walk through a narrow walkway into the back of the restaurant that opens up into a big dinning room. The focal point of the room is a big wood table that seats 8/12 people. I came with my significant other and we were seated next to 3 other couples at the big table. I loved it ! The service was great! Our waitress was very kind, had a great smile and was a great hostess. I really enjoyed the staff. The food was phenomenal! We couldn't believe that we hadn't ate at Santa Panza before !! We started with a nice cheese plate, I love cheese and they offer 4 different types of cheeses. It was really good. My boyfriend ordered the Prochetta, a slow roasted pork with fingerling potatoes and asparagus, he cleared the plate in a heart beat and couldn't stop raving about it for days. We will definitely be coming back for this dish! I ordered the Santa Panza Pizza. It was good, the only downside to the pizza was that it was floppy and the dough was burnt on the underside. I would've been able to deal with the charred bread if it just held together while I ate. Other than that the food was fantastic! The drinks were priced from $13-$7. I got two glasses of prosecco for $8 each and my boyfriend got an IPA for $7. I think the drinks were reasonably priced, sadly we didn't try any signature drinks. Wow. Really good gem of a place on Broadway. We didn't have reservations but ordered with he friendly host and it took about 30 mins (while drinking a can of bubbly rose outside). The pizza? It rivals Robertas for sure. Crust was perfectly cooked with a little char and a good balance of chewy. Only complaint was there could have been more cheese on the margarita. Staff was fantastic. My boyfriend and I came here for dinner on Saturday night and had an amazing time. We were seated for our reservation right away and our server gave us the option to sit in their garden or a private socially distanced indoor table which we chose. We ordered a bottle of wine, 2 apps, a pizza and a pasta and everything was delicious, and came to a great price. They give complimentary bread which our server kindly refilled. The mood was very cozy and they decorated so nice for the fall season. Our favorite was their signature pizza which was perfect and we already almost ordered it for delivery last night. Mmm been craving this Napoli style pizza and this definitely satisfied! Heated outdoor dining in a small backyard space, little chilly at night but still cozy enough. We tried the spicy soppresata pie and the mushroom prosciutto pie, both were delicious! Crust nice and thin and tasty, toppings were generous. For me, it was definitely personal pie serving bc the pies are so thin. Some couples were sharing one pie, but I couldn't help think, "they must still be hungry" lol. I ordered a small Speck e Zola pizza, and it was delicious, including speck, walnuts, and gorgonzola. Good and salty! I also shared a nectarine salad with the table. This also had walnuts - I didn't realize how many uses walnuts had - and a balsamic dressing. The service was fast and attentive (maybe too attentive? Hey just left this place - happened to walk upon it while browsing the area. Five stars for service. The females behind the bar were exceptionally well and was attentive when while getting slammed. Wine was cool - the gavi glass was refreshing and crisp with notes of lime and balanced fruit. I ordered the cheese plate, the baraoula salad (some sh*t like that) and the parpadelle ragu pasta. The cheese plate wasnt the best I've come across but it was doable. The grana padano cheese was t properly wrapped overnight so half the cheese was hard and difficult to cut, while the other half was doable. The parpadelle was a complete joke. I honestly love going out to restaurants and do so all the time (hint: elite status), but what grinds my gears is when things are overpriced and focused on the layout of the plate, therefore leaving little to none on it. The pasta was scarce in portion and it was a bit disappointing. I was still hungry - I hate that. Now I want to go home and order Takeout. The salad was the highlight of the meal. The pizza making happens right in the middle of the main dining area and the rest of the dishes are made in an open kitchen behind the bar. My husband and I have come here several times. Smiles from all staff members at all times and everyone seems genuinely happy to make sure you enjoy your dining experience. The food and drinks are amazing. We always get the burrata of the day and the salami piccante pizza (large of course). The pizza is always fresh out of the brick oven and is super flavorful. The lemon mascarpone dessert is a must!! I can't believe I forgot to review this place. This restaurant was one of the highlights of our NY trip in May. We stayed at the Hotel RL and Santa Panza is basically across the street. I enjoy pizza, but only order pizza with white sauces due to acid reflux, so I'm always leary whether or not places offer this pizza. Thankfully, I found what I was looking for on the menu. The restaurant looks small from the front, but it surprisingly larger than expected and has a bar area, a small sitting area and an outdoor seating area. As you walk in, there is an ATM in the bar area. If you don't have cash, hit up the ATM as Santa Panza is cash only. I opted to sit inside as it was mid-May and temps were changing. More people were outside, so I almost had the interior seating area to myself. I had a very attentive server and she advised me on their specials and their beautiful drink menu. I really had a hard time deciding, but she did convince me that they had a lovely rose, which I'd been looking for, so I was sold. It was the right choice. I believe I ordered a salad, but I can't recall. I do know that I had a Santa Panza pizza, with white sauce, sweet sausage, onion and sage. It was delicious. For dessert, I enjoyed the chocolate salame. Quite different and very good. Whenever we are next in Brooklyn, I'll be back. My sister and her boyfriend live in Bushwick and talked highly of this place, so the first night we visited - we went! First up, we shared a cheese plate (brie, gorgonzola, and one that is mysterious since we didn't hear what it was) and a pitcher of white wine. The cheeses were fantastic and paired well with the provided bread. My personal favorite of the cheese plate was drizzling the honey on the mysterious hard cheese. Sweet and sharp. Along with our cheese plate, we ordered caprese salad (yay, more cheese!). Caprese never disappoints and neither did this one. We decided to split two pizzas - the Napoli without the anchovies (it was the perfect amount of salt from the capers) and the Ortalana (mmm, seasonal veggies). The perfect place for those times when you're feeling fancier than Papa Johns/Little Ceasers. Between four ladies we shared the mixed greens, pear salad, sausage pizza and mushroom pizza (can't remember the exact name). The salads were enough to share between two. The pizza we're both really nice. They're very light, similar to Robertas, so you don't feel like a fat slob after scoffing it. Only complaint - the pizza wasn't cut evenly and the slices were all different sizes, hence the loss of a star. The pizzas are all priced between $12-$16 for a 12in but there is also a 6in option at around $7 which is ideal if you're heading home from work late and want to grab a bite by yourself. The restaurant itself has a really nice atmosphere everyone seemed very friendly. Even the chefs greeted us on arrival. Was a good spot for groups but also would be a nice date night option too! Will deffo be back here. Looking forward to sampling more on the menu. read more

We got assuage pizza , anchovy​ pizza, burrrata, the house red wine and a flan dessert. Everything was great but really for the price we were very satisfied. I'll definitely make this my go to pizza place in the area come Friday nights when work has you beat. The waiter had a pretty thick accent but hey he knew his shit. The flan was really delectable because it was lemony with fresh fruit and a creme brulee topping. Just sweet enough with depth and flavor. To clarify we had 6" pies to share and try many things which is a great option for the quantity. I'd say it compares to neopolitan express with better ingredients and flavors. A 12" is enough to fill you up - but don't start there. Order the fresh burrata that tastes like a silk worm weaving silk. PS: Order their slightly spicy red sauce on the side to dip your crust in. Wine is sold by the glass (house is $7 cab), by the bottle and 1.75L with all types of selections. If you don't finish the bottle, they'll cork it without a fee. The size is good for one person if you're hungry but also good for sharing with another dish or a couple sides. Their burrata and caprese appetizers are super fresh and delicious too. It's not the easiest to find as a long and narrow joint tucked away between nondescript shops and bars. However, it's well worth the discovery if you happen upon it. The pizza is amazing, flavorful and just about everything you'd want in a pie. The crust had the right blend of crisp and chew. The cheese tasted light and fresh. The toppings were all spot on.
