Yelp review #15 of 2025 Thursday June 3 visit around 2pm. A friend has always spoken highly of this restaurant, though I hadn't visited despite hearing about it for the past four or five years. When I finally went, I parked on the street since the parking spaces felt a bit too narrow. The manager was very kind and approached me to see if I needed assistance. He was accommodating and even handed me a paper menu when I struggled to read the display. Ordering was straightforward, though the layout felt a bit unusual. The seating is fixed, so you can't adjust the tables or chairs. I needed my rollator and had to sit at the end of the table or row. The space felt cramped and not very accommodating for accessibility, though it was technically accessible. The salsa bar was a bit tricky to navigate, it's covered, and you have to lift the lid to access it. It wasn't immediately clear it was a salsa bar unless you knew what to look for. After eating, it was unclear whether we should clear our own table or where to dispose of our waste, as there were no visible trash cans. We ended up placing our items in a bin near the entrance. The service was excellent, and the staff was warm and welcoming. I'd return based on how kindly they treated us. The food was also decent. read more

Worst chicken tacos ive ever had. Jaw-droppingly bland and dripping with grease. Horchata was good but their taccos are deplorable.

Finally tried this place. It's right down the street. My husband loves Menudo and was craving. They make it daily here. He did enjoy his order. I got a chili rellano and enchilada. It was pretty average. The beans had a taste I couldn't place. The service was great. Really nice staff. They were fast too. Don't waste your time going here the food is horrible (greasy and the lettuce smells). Go to Fausto first then Del Taco much better food. Got the wrong item first I ordered beef taco and got chicken taco, they did correct it and gave me the beef tacos free which I appreciate. Ibused to like this place. I ordered a carne asada burrito. And that thing was cold. It was also significantly smaller and resembled one of those frozen burritos you can get at markets. I dont mind paying more if i have to get a full burrito. Forced myself to eat it and im still hungry. I know the drive is about 45-60 mins but i would recommend chino's mexican kitchen instead. While in the hunt for non-Chipotle, casual, authentic mexican food, I decided to give Santa Rosa a try. I was definitely not disappointed. As I walked in, the owner Cesar was entertaining everyone with his stories, both in Spanish and English. Food was made to order so it took about 10 minutes. It all tasted homemade. The enchiladas were delicious. Chicken is good, but the shredded beef and carne asada are great! They have the street tacos (more traditional, soft corn tortillas with filling, onion and cilantro) and the crunchy tacos (with filling, cheese and lettuce). Both are great, but the tortilla for the crunchy taco is out of sight. Portions are reasonable and so are the prices. They are a bit hard to find but if you are in the area, stop by and get yourself some comida mexicana at SRTS and say "hola" to Cesar for me. read more
