Not sure I get this "limited menu" situation. If this was a year ago in the heart of covid I'd get it. But now, the world, at least the Phoenix corner of it, is back to normal. The "can't get all the ingredients" argument doesn't work either since other Phoenix SanTan locations have full menu. I'm guessing a staffing issue since the servers just want your order, for you to eat, and then pay and get out. But after all we are taking about an airport location so probably shouldn't expect much. The carnitas taco combined with scrambled eggs and fries turned out to be very delicious -- combining two gastronomy cultures from both sides of the southern border in an intreresting yet simple fast-food style. The carnita, unlike in mexican terminology that normally refers to grilled and chopped pork meat, turned out to be -- pretty tasty -- barbacoa-style slow-cooked variant. Husband ordered the cobb salad and was served in a plastic to go container- he said it was good common portion was significant, he just didn't like sitting in a restaurant and eating it out of a plastic container. We had ice tea to drink in the total bill came to $37, which is typical airport pricing. Sitting next to the gate F6 in Terminal 3 - this is the best spot to wait for a flight to board. The prices are reasonable and the beer is good. *Service can be a little slow. Large open space with TV screens showing sports, and plenty of outlets for charging items. We didn't eat, but did enjoy a beer flight and the SanTan Peach Kettle Sour on drought. It was delightfully puckering and refreshing. We asked for a growler of the root beer to go, but they were out. The menus boast their famous root beer being their signature item, and it was an early Tuesday morning. A bit surprising that they were out. Shopping and restrooms are nearby. Easy to hear announcements from your seat in the restaurant. Give it a try if you have an hour to kill. The beer is good and cold. read more

Couldn't even get the waitress to bring a water. The old fashioned was not good and the side salad was the equivalent of someone opening a bag of mixed greens and putting it on a plate with some cut up tomatoes. The buffalo chicken sandwich was made with as much attention as the rest of the meal. Taste was decent but the buffalo sauce barely made it on the sandwich. We had lunch here at the airport before boarding our flight. It was a little busy but our waitress was fast and friendly. I ordered a salad and was looking forward to having something healthy before sitting on a plane for the next four hours. Unfortunately the salad was not great.. the tomatoes tasted sad and elderly and the croutons were sweet and soggy. Not sure what they were supposed to be like but it tasted pretty yucky. It was a nice break not wearing a mask (especially because I am fully vaccinated). The menu, ordering and paying are all done through their website with a QR code. In theory the system would work well except their website has issues. I had to try and place my order 4 times before it went through. As far as the food it is okay. I got a burger and had a seat that faced the Shake Shack. The entire time I just keep wishing I was eating a Shake Shack burger. Don't get me wrong. The burger was actually good. I played it safe with a bacon cheese burger and my husband got the Sacred Stave burger and I should have ordered that. I had one bite and it was awesome! I decided to grab some fries and a Bloody Mary while waiting to board my flight. There was a 5 to 10 minute wait to get seated as they have limited due to distancing. I was sat at the bar, where there were plastic dividers in between guests which was nice. The staff were all friendly and I was greeted immediately, the fries and drink came out quickly. The Bloody Mary was tasty and the fries cooked crisp. My main complaint is their ordering system. I don't mind scanning the code in order to view the menu and order, however the system is lagged and had to reload several times. The bartender was attentive and helped me with the issues, however had I been in more of a hurry I could see this being a major issue. Since, my time was limited as it was, it was annoying and clearly not the staffs fault. Also, I was dissapointed by the lack of options for sides. They only offered fries and I understand they need quick food items, but should have a few more options. read more

This was an above average airport dining experience. The food was fresh and delicious! I had the carnitas tacos. The beer was also exceptional and my server took time to help me choose which I really appreciated. As a lone traveler I thought I wouldn't be seated in a nice place but the hostess graciously accepted my request to be seated by the windows. Honestly I loved it and l stop by every time I'm in town. The hostess was slow, the service was slow, there were at least 6 empty tables with a line waiting to be seated. This is an AIRPORT - people need to be seated & served promptly! A brewery? In an airport? Sign me up! It was 9:30PM, we were sitting in the terminal getting ready to fly back home, and overheard a group of ladies yell, "let's go to the brewery!". Well, okay then! I didn't know this group of ladies but I was intrigued that there was any place with craft beer within an otherwise depressing airport terminal. SanTan Brewing has a ton of seating, Much of which was closed since it was so late and they stop serving food at 10PM. We still managed to score a high-top. We had a delicious stout which was needed right before our 5 hour flight home. Great music was playing. Tons of people enjoying themselves at the bar. And we were within earshot of our gate so we didn't actually leave until just before they started boarding. The reason I knocked off 1 star? The service. Our waitress was friendly but had no time management skills whatsoever. We waited 10 minutes to get our check, 20 minutes for her to take our card, and another 10 minutes to get the check/card back. That's 40 minutes of us trying to get out of the place and catch our flight and that sweet overhead bin space. We saw other couples getting antsy as well as they, too, waited for her to check on them and whatnot. I will definitely come back but might just try to sit at the bar next time. read more

Can be okay but not typical. The chicken on one side was so over cooked it was hard I couldn't even bite through it. Also it just had the chicken and sauce. Not even some basic lettuce. I also had the Arizona mule. It was really basic and overly sugary. And the most important thing is they served it in a pint glass. Don't serve a mule unless it's in a copper mug. My wife, son and I decided to get something to eat while we were waiting for our flight. We had over an hour to get something ordered, eaten and to our flight which was literally walking distance from where we were. We went to SanTan. It looked cool, it had a local location in Chandler, we figured the food would be good. It took forever for us to get a seat, and then what was worse was that once we ordered our food, it took over 40 minutes to get served, so we only had a few minutes to eat what we ordered and get to our plane. The waitress took so long to bring me my bill and then ring it up, we almost missed our plane. We ended up boarding with only 3 minutes left to get on or we would have been stuck in Arizona. We had repeatedly told her we had a flight leaving soon and dropped hints that they were taking too long, and that didn't matter. Slow walked the heck out of our bill at the end until we were almost stuck in Arizona! I get that they were busy and understaffed... BUT YOU GUYS RUN A RESTAURANT IN AN AIRPORT!
