Online also showed 7PM. I rushed over and arrived around 6:15PM. Staff was still there, but unfortunately nobody was willing to help me out. I really needed a computer mount since my stock one broke. So I can enjoy my morning ride at 6am I've always had good service here, which is why today was disappointing. Just wish the situation would've been handled differently.

I've passed this charming little (probably the smallest in the world) bike shop on many occasions…read moreover the years and would stop and check out the bikes from time to time but it wasn't until I noticed this beautiful vintage specialized mountain bike displayed for all of Foothill Boulevard to gaze upon that I really experienced what Dale and their bike shop had to offer. Dale was friendly, and pretty mellow, we chatted a bit about their unique bike shop and they mentioned to me how they donate kids bikes to the little ones that need it and will check out and possibly buy used bikes so I brought him over my 2006 Raleigh road bike and he offered an amount that was fair and I picked up that specialized mountain bike I was so charmed by. All the bikes he has on display are ready to be purchased and he makes sure that all components are in working order. Couldn't be happier with the experience, I think some reviews on here that are negative are people who expect a bubbly and overly excited customer "service" experience and are putting those unreal expectations onto a business owner they know nothing about so my advice is- if you want to check out some used bikes at solid prices or get your bike tuned up by a knowledgeable bike mechanic then check out The Velo.

Now, after doing it, I've learned it's worth every dollar and wouldn't even be surprised if they charged more because of the effort and expertise that goes into this process. Super knowledgeable and impeccable service. Great follow up during the build process and explained everthing about the bikes and the car rack we bought! 3 months later, my front break was rubbing ever so slightly. "Bring it right in and we'll have a look" Tito said on the phone. Turned out to be a simple adjustment on the breaks, but then my bike got the spa treatment. He cleaned and lubed the drive Train and tweaked a few extra adjustments. He spent at least 30 minutes on the bike and no charge!! And then he said bring your other bike in for the same treatment We happily drive 40 minutes from the mountains to work with Tito if you are in the greater LA area and in the market for an E Bike. They're not willing to assist returning customers, if I'd have known that I would have gladly spent my $2k at another bike shop. Literally across the street is Incycle, they are loaded with inventory and have more than adequate staff to help, I will never step foot in E Bike Cyclery again. Hard to support small business when they don't want to serve the customers that have helped them.
