I recently visited Santo Fish and had a great experience trying their Mexican seafood. I also had the opportunity to learn more about the story behind the restaurant and the inspiration behind the chef's approach to the food, which made the visit feel much more personal. The menu offers a variety of Mexican seafood options, and the atmosphere is casual and welcoming, a nice place to visit with friends or family. One of my favorite things about discovering local restaurants is getting to know the people and stories behind the food, and Santo Fish is a great example of that. If you're looking for Mexican seafood in Pico Rivera, I'd definitely recommend checking it out.

Had such a good experience at Santo Fish! From the moment the chips hit the table, we knew we were in for a good meal. They were fresh and tasty, and they came with three different salsas and dips, which was a nice touch. We tried a little bit of everything. The oysters and tuna sashimi were fresh, and the ribeye steak and lobster combo was BOMB. But the real star was the pescado zarandeado. Simply amazing! Whatever sauce they use on the fish has the perfect blend of flavors and really takes the dish to another level. The margaritas were fun, tasted great, and went perfectly with the meal. Huge shoutout to our waitress Flor as well. She was super friendly, helpful, and made the experience even better.

Best Mexican seafood!! For drinks, we ordered a few cocktails and agua frescas. Both were great! Since it's a seafood restaurant, we ordered the ocean ceviche, lobster and steak, governor tacos, and the signature zarandeado santo fish. Everything was delicious! The ceviche was bright and the proteins were cooked well. The santo fish was huge and we ended up making fish tacos since it comes with tortillas. A great entree to share! A mariscos restaurant hidden gem!

I do not recommend this restaurant. Two stars for good customer service. When we came in, we were greeted quite quickly, and brought to our table. Inside was very clean. It is very spacious and well spaced. Separation of regular diners and bar drinking is nice, to keep a family friendly environment separate from the potentially more rowdy crowd. We asked what was highly recommended, and of course, it was what we came for, as others do too for their first and most likely, only visit there. I do not recommend this restaurant. We ordered their special of the day, which was a ceviche. It was made with raw shrimp, not cooked in any way, like straight from the freezer, thawed, chopped, and put into a bowl with the other fresh diced stuff. Usually, the marinating time the shrimp sits in the ceviche "cooks" it, not this one, gray shrimp. We read a review that said the octopus was life-changing, and we love a well-cooked octopus. If the octopus was just cooked, or just heated, or just slightly on the grill for a second, it would have been super delicious and life-changing, however, it was finished-cooked so poorly. My guess is that someone thinks that grill marks make it good, wrong, they burnt it. The flavor is burnt! It becomes bitter and burnt! Well, guess what, we ordered the fish.... And guess what.. it is the same!!! BURNT! Not grilled, BURNT, ON PURPOSE!?! If you want good Zarandeado, I recommend you go try Mariscos Martin in La Puente or Baldwin Park. Like I said, skip it, I do not recommend it. And, it was not cheap neither. It looked so upscale, so awesome, smelled good, then just burnt! Don't believe all the hype. This is definitely a hype restaurant, or somewhere to get drunk and not be able to comprehend what you are digesting.

This place is AMAZING!! The food is DELICIOUS, perfectly prepared, and did I mention delicious?? My wife and I ordered tuna tacos, a cauliflower taco, and shrimp in red sauce and garlic. Wow! The tuna tacos were flavorful, a surprise in each bite, and very colorful The vibe here is relaxed and fun, with plenty of room to bring family and friends The ONLY minor negative was how loud the GREAT Spanish music was playing over the restaurant's overhead speakers. It was loud! Other than that issue, everything else was AMAZING, including the GREAT service offered by our waiter. Our waiter, Fernando was very friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Thank you for the tip-notch service. This was a very positive dining experience.

Noely gave us a great service!!!! I ordered the pescado zarandeado and it was absolutely delicious. I also had a Vampiro, and it was excellent. The food was fresh, flavorful, and definitely worth coming back for. The only thing I noticed was that during the less than two hours I was there, about five different flower vendors came inside trying to sell flowers. I've only experienced that in dive bars, not at a restaurant of this caliber. It would make the dining experience even better if that could be limited. Overall, the food and drinks were outstanding, and I highly recommend Santo Fish.

Great experience at Santo Fish Restaurant! The seafood was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Everything we ordered tasted delicious, and you can tell they put a lot of care into the food. The portions were good, the service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was welcoming. Definitely a great spot if you're looking for fresh Mexican-style seafood. I'll be coming back and would highly recommend Santo Fish to anyone in the area!

Food: was awesome when I came the first time. Continues to get better the more we try more from their menu. Zeta tacos to die for. These are vegan, but so worth your tastebuds. Service: always on time. Courteous. At your beckon call for their customers needs. Ambiance: nice, fresh very clean. Good music, not load.

Excellent mariscos and exceptional service. Came here on a recent weekend to dine with a friend and while the restaurant was busy, there was plenty of seating available and we were accommodated quickly. We ordered a variety of dishes from ceviche to aguachiles to sashimi and also had some tasty oyster shots. Everything was fresh and flavorful and I plan to return very soon. Parking is easy as the restaurant is located inside a medium size commercial lot with other businesses and another mariscos restaurant. There's street parking available too.

A seafood place in Pico Rivera! This place popped up on my social media platform and had me convinced, and so we came. The restaurant itself was nice, spacious, and nicely decorated. We were greeted with smiles and good service. For food, we had ceviche oceana (some spice), guacamole and chips, chapulines Del Mar, tacos gobernador, and 2 orders of zarandeado santo fish at MP which came out to $47 for one. I was really excited about this fish because this is what the foodie influencer was chowing down on. Although there was some kind of seasoning or sauce, the fish was bland. No matter what I put on it, lime, salsa, beans, rice, anything, just bland. I'm glad we tried this place but we won't be returning. I think I expected high quality, something we'd get from ports o'call but I had to remember we were in Pico Rivera. Large parking lot, good service, just okay Zarandeado for me.

    Pescado sarandiado

Pescado sarandiado was REALLT BURNT + no flavor and cooked for way too long rice and beans had no flavor take some chicken bouillon cus you're gonna need it, micheladas had an off flavor and super bitter & ceviche was mid super salty but it was the best dish. Come if you wanna f*** around and find out .. 0 stars !!!!

I originally saw this place on Instagram and decided to try it out with some friends. They have a separate bar area that's decorated really cute and has a different aesthetic from the main restaurant. The servers were very attentive and gave great recommendations. My friends ordered drinks (can't remember the exact names), but they had dragon fruit and watermelon flavors, super yummy. They were a little on the sweet side, so if that's your thing, you'll love them. For food, we ordered the shrimp aguachile and the sauce was delicious, we even asked for some on the side. One of our friends ordered the al mojo de ajo and said it was yummy as well. The star of the show, though, was the fish, cooked to perfection and so flavorful. Definitely will be returning!
