Good, attentive service. Had the #3 lunch which comes with Salad, 1/2 Gyro Wrap, 1/2 Chicken Kebab, and dipping sauce. Each table also receives complimentary pita bread, hummus, and an olive tapenade. Healthy food in this sit-down restaurant. Approximately 90 minutes for lunch, a bit longer than a typical lunch resulting from taking the time to munch on the pita with hummus and olive tapenade. Baklava at $6.95 for dessert was a bit small for the price but still good. read more

This is by far one of my favorite restaurants in Danville. The food is so fresh, the flavors are outstanding. Some of the best Mediterranean food I've had. The staff is so generous and friendly. I eat here at least once a week. The chicken kabob is my favorite, but pretty much everything on the extensive menu is fabulous!! They have kid friendly food as well: pizza and pasta. read more

Food was good! I really liked the calamari. I feel like the calamari I've had at the past few places has just been kind of sad and lacking. But these pieces were thick and juicy and the perfect amount of crunchy. Lamb shank was fall off the bone goodness, with mashed potatoes with a buttery texture. The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the carrots and broccoli on the lamb shank. I love veggies, but the baby carrots and broccoli just feel like they cheapen it. Not a big deal, just personal preference. The chicken lemon soup was very comforting and yummy. And the spicy gyro was yummy, but not spicy at all- so maybe just ask for extra spicy if you're a spice lover. read more

This place has never been my favorite, but we got a gift card, so after maybe 5 years we went there. If it was bad before, it has become even worse! The food doesn't taste anything like the Persian food it pretends to be. The khobideh was under cooked, the ground chicken kebabs were greenish yellow and tasting weird, the dip for the bread was off, too. The warm bread, almost lavash was good, the only highlight of the lunch. The service left a lot to wish for, too. Slow, there were three tables full, but nobody paid attention to us. I had to go to the kitchen to get somebody to bring us the bill. Sorry , but a really disappointing experience. We will never come back. read more

The hubby and I have been wanting to try Santorini Mediterranean for some time now.... and boy, we're so glad we did! At this time, we have not yet dined in but have ordered takeout several times, and the online ordering process is easy breezy. We've had the chicken kebab, koubideh kebab, tzatziki with fresh baked pita bread, and tabbouleh salad. We have never been disappointed. Out of the many mediterranean restaurants in the Tri-Valley area, Santorini is our ultimate favorite. Hopefully, the hubs and I will dine in soon =) read more

Delicious Destination!! Everything we ate was soo good. I had kabob and filet mignon. Tadeek and yogurt with shallots. Everything was beyond par. Drink was also delicious. And we had a chocolate cake and it was sweet and very good. Everyone was soo nice. I felt like we were at someone's house instead of a restaurant. That's how welcomed we were. Came here for the first time after ordering from DoorDash. And I have to say, it's a pretty solid joint. Not my favorite as I do have a couple of qualms about the food but all in all it's pretty good. As for my order, I ordered the combination kabob with beef and lamb with a side order of a chicken kabob. The meat was cooked well but I feel like the beef kabob might've been slightly overcooked. The meat is a bit tougher and it could also do with a bit more seasoning. While I'm not a stranger to more bland food, I've definitely had more spiced meats before. Not necessarily salty in taste but fragrant. The basmati rice that came with the kabob meal was delicious though as was the carrot strips and broccoli that came with it. The pita bread they gave was also a whole giant pita and the dipping oil was delicious. Probably could do with a bit more spice there too though. Again, all in all a good solid Mediterranean food. Though I might not frequent it as much due to distance. At this point, Silk Road is still the better one in Walnut Creek. read more

I am giving this restaurant 5 stars because the food was excellent for the money. We really enjoyed eating outside in the evening. I guess most people do take-out, because we were the only people there at 7 pm on a Sunday night. First all, Matt, brought us pita and sauce. The bread was warm, fresh, and a wonderful surprise--yum yum!!! Then we split a salad. My partner's dish was Moussaka. OMG, he let me have a taste. It was so good, that I kept sneaking little bites of his dish. The restaurant was clean, and the food was delicious. We had leftovers to eat at home. I know they do a lot of take-out, but if you want to get out of the house, and go somewhere to eat delicious Mediterranean food (and feel safe) I would recommend going here!!! read more

Started with calamari - it's frozen from a box not hand breaded so it's a little tough. Husband had the lamb shank and it was okay. I had the pomegranate chicken - super dry. The skin was removed so the chicken was baked without a coating - dry. Small amount of pomegranate sauce under the chicken. Mashed potatoes were good. This has been my go-to lately since I've been on low-FODMAP diet, it's pretty limiting in what I can and can't eat. Eating out has become super frustrating and we tend to eat more at home where I can make my own food. But I do get tired of cooking all the time and miss going out. But it can be disappointing to get bland food since I can't eat onions or garlic (which are in the same plant family and this totally sucks because they are in almost everything!!!). But I found coming here last year with a friend I could order the mediterranean salad (minus the red onions, and dressing on the side) and I have the grilled Salmon added. I have to say I've come here and had this numerous times and the Salmon is always cooked to perfection! It's a generous serving and very moist with a nice seasoning slight char on the outside. Add some lemon along with the feta cheese thats sprinkled on the salad, I can pretty much eat it with just a little dab of dressing its just that good! My family and friends alway order other amazing looking things and of course eat that gorgeous looking bread dip that Im sure is chock full of garlic... oh I miss garlic (but my stomach is way happier without). Its okay though, because I just love and crave that delicious salad and Salmon. We usually sit inside and the service seems family run and very nice, they also have a nice patio for those warmer days. I wouldn't say it's the fanciest place, but for me we've been able to walk in and sit down for dinner, which is always a plus and I can enjoy a meal...finally! YaY Santorini~ read more

All 5 stars for this hidden gem! Met Steven G and his significant other for a brunch time meal. Arrived at 11 to find the open at 11:30. Steven was a doll, and helped the owner straighten this out on YELP. We sat outside, on this beautiful late summer morning. Service was good, and yummy bread arrived first. I ordered a Spinach Salad with Shrimp... feta cheese and walnuts rounded it out. Balsamic Dressing was delicious. Hubby had a Gyro Platter, which he loved. For our entrees, Hubby had the combinataion kabab with filet mignon and chicken, and our daughter had the chicken kabab meal, while I had grilled lamb kabab. Went here today for lunch and ordered take out. Really disappointed in the quality considering how much it costs. I ordered the gyro plate and the "filet mignon" kabob. It definitely wasn't filet mignon and the gyro meat was dried up like jerky. Maybe it's better if you order it there but for $50 you expect better quality meat. I ended up just throwing it away when I got home. Gave two stars because the owner manager was nice and I don't think he knows how bad the food is when it leaves the kitchen. It's tucked away a bit in a shopping center, it would be easy to miss, but it's got a casual vibe. We were started off with a huge piece of circular bread, which was very tasty. My wife got the chicken kebab and I got the moussaka. The moussaka was okay, but I really enjoyed the chicken kebob. The meat was nice and tender, not dry but juicy.
