We are 100% happy customers (-: We requested for all of our different palm trees, box shrubs, and podocarpus hedge to be trimmed back (all if not most were at least 2-3 stories tall). The crew was on time, extremely efficicent and communicative. Everyone was very mindful of our neighbors fence, property, roof line and powerlines. Everyone had PPE on and were so incredibly safe when scaling the trees and hedges. Clean up was very thorough. Majority of our fronds and hedge were processed by the chipper and hauled. Our neighbor was so impressed with the crew he also hired them on the spot to take care of his street tree. It is impressive how much green waste we produced that day. Luckily the city picks up yard trimings on the street so his crew broke down anything else we had to sizeable chunks and neatly piled for SJ GreenWaste to pick up. We will be happy to call them again for yearly tree maintenance service.

I asked Ian Geddes Tree Care if they could "please come out and cut the split limb off" so it wouldn't drop on any cars parked in the lot. I had put out cones, signs and caution tape in the 2 parking spaces directly under the tree limbs and the cones were simply moved over and the parking spaces were still being used.... Ian Geddes Tree Care came out the very next morning and cut the split limb and trimmed the tree away from the car spaces. Of all the companies that provided quotes, JC Tree Experts was the most detailed. Some simply scribbled a price on their business card, but JC Tree Experts emailed a detailed quote explaining exactly what work was included, debris hauled away, etc., photos of the trees to be worked on, arborist certification, and even their insurance certificate as evidence that the company and their employees were covered in the event of accident or injury on our property. This was by far more than any other company provided, and it was a clear indication of their level of professionalism. Theirs was not the lowest quote, but was much more reasonable than some. They arrived as scheduled to do the work - in fact, a little early. It was a large crew with two large trucks and a wood chipper. The crew confirmed the expectations with us and set to work. They were all cheerful and friendly, but worked quite efficiently, completing the work in less than an hour. They did a great job on the trees, cleaned up all the debris completely, and even used a blower to make sure they didn't miss anything. I wholeheartedly recommend JC Tree Experts. They simply could not have done a better job!

This is exactly why I waited to post--I find this level of monitoring and personal contact highly invasive and unprofessional. Hired this company to remove a tree. First of all, I know it's a very demanding business and risky at that. And things come up all the time, but what is unacceptable is accountability. I had an appointment and the day of the person was nowhere to be seen. I could not get a hold of Xavier. He finally responded after numerous calls. I have several friends in this business and they said that they at least apologize when they over schedule and things come up. Again, I understand this. But at least apologize for the lack of communication. An apology goes a long way!

After reviewing the plan to trim back five encroaching trees with Carlos and my hubby's guidance, they got straight to work. Their performance was meticulous, fast, and exacting. Steve was an absolute pleasure to work with. From the very beginning, he was patient in explaining the options available, and sharing different pictures. When I look back on the emails I have exchanged with him, its almost a 100 emails!! Mostly we had no idea what design to choose and he would patiently send pictures of his previous work. Before we even decided to meet, he asked me to send some measurements which was quite easy for me to do and also send a couple of pictures. Within a day or two, he gave me a quote. The quote felt reasonable and we decided to have him come over. When he came over, he brought some samples and we liked what he showed. after a few back and forth on the design, we decided to move forward. He was able to finish the install in a couple of days. He was neat and ensured all the stuff was cleaned up and left the home the way it was before he started work. We are very pleased with his work as the pictures will show. We went with clear glass. The glass was installed by a couple of folks from the glass company. It took 3 weeks for the glass to arrive. The whole project took about 4 weeks. So, plan accordingly. Steve was so nice that he even smoothened some wood around the rails that our puppy had chewed. he cut up long pieces of wood to cover up some slots the flooring guys had improperly finished near the railings. All in all, I would highly recommend Steve and his company.

Taylor explained everything they would do to make sure we had properly installed landscaping. While design adjustments are included--we had VERY few revisions because Taylor really listened to our wishes and executed them so well in the design. Then the work began. I have been so impressed with everything Cesar and his crew have been doing. They leave no small detail untouched. The pipes for our old sprinkler system were such an eye sore. When the crew installed the new irrigation system--they build a box to conceal the pipes. I was not expecting that in the slightest! In several instances, I was informed that weed control had been completed when it hadn't, which I confirmed through my exterior security cameras. About 9 years ago we had Tory come and trim our 50-year-old Jacaranda tree and we were very happy with the care and concern about the tree and their work. Today, we wanted to have the same people come back out and were happy to discover that they were still around and rebranded as Tree Cherubs. Tory remembered our tree and was happy that we remembered him, too. Once again, he showed his knowledge and understanding of the tree and, again, didn't allow any climbers with shoe spikes for fear of damaging the tree. They took great care in protecting the plants and property below. They worked efficiently and quickly and did a fantastic job for a very good price given the large amount of work they needed to accomplish. They left the yard clean and neat and did a wonderful job at not cutting too much or just topping the tree like so many other tree trimming companies do.
