Chicken Teriyaki
Jimmy N.

Still by far the best spot to get chicken teriyaki. For mall food, they should definitely open just a separate restaurant like Panda Express. I would definitely go once a week. TIP - always ask for extra sauce! It's all about that sauce. The chicken every time is so tender and juicy. Writing this review makes me want to go and get more LOL

It is a convenient place to eat especially after a mall trip. The value is really good for the food, ordered a chicken teriyaki for 10 dollars and we received a hefty amount of food. Overall, a reliable place to eat at the mall but ultimately, still food court quality albeit a much better option than the others. It tastes good but not great, just about a tier higher than what you would expect from any fast food or chain restaurant. The area when I went (Friday night around 6pm) had ample seating which was very nice. Definitely go here if you're looking for good bang for your buck!

Every time we go to the mall, Sarku is a must. Its super fast paced and delicious (best mall food imo). Sauce could have been less sweet, cabbage or the veggies are cut a lil too big and the protein portion could have been a lil more generous but for mall food, I'd say get it

Easily the best mall food within the entire food court. This chicken teriyaki on white rice with vegetables is always my go to. Sometimes I get double meat if I'm feeling hungry. Don't expect good customer service from food places like these, especially if they are in the food court. This is quick and go food. I order my food, pay, and my meal is normally out in about 5 minutes or less!

Chicken teriyaki is always consistent..not much else you can ask for. They also give out reward cards where you get one for free after a number of stamps!

I tend to turn here for eats when I'm at the South Shore Plaza but man, have the lines gotten out of control recently. Is there some sort of secret that I'm not aware of? I've been waiting in lines 10 - 15 deep. The griddle is only so large to have a particular amount of orders cooking at one time. Anyway, white rice, shredded veggies including carrots and cabbage with chicken is all you need to know here. Don't order anything else, it won't be worth it. This is what makes Sarku tick and what they do best. They accept credit cards, a plus. The staff is usually friendly and they will also offer up extra sauce so ask for it upon being handed your food. It's only a $1 extra to double meat, another added bonus.

I recently wrote a review for the 'Hot & New' Omori in Quincy. While I am not a detractor of Omori,…read morethe experience there left something to be desired. This is due to some creative decisions I disagree with and, at times, very little eel. Meanwhile, Sake Japanese Restaurant hits just the right spot! The creative decisions were excellent, with everything coming together splendidly. The fish was fresh and in more than generous amounts. This, in turn, makes the cost of about $20 per roll seem reasonable and makes it much easier to stomach (I didn't intend the pun, but I will own it). Regarding the Holiday and the Kevin Page, these maki rolls are similar. Both shine with the white fish on top and generous amounts of tuna (and salmon in the Holiday's case) within. The eel and cucumber add a pleasant new dimension to the pieces. I'd say these two are like identical twins adopted by different families. Each will have some unique personality and flair, but at the core, they are one. The crazy tuna brought something different to the table. While I am generally not a fan of the chopped-up style of fish, here it just works, and I didn't mind it. If I were to guess, this is because many places have more tempura than fish and add too much spicy mayo. Despite the style, the tuna was still able to shine through. For the inside, I enjoyed the crunch and freshness of the cumber with the sweetness and savory notes from the eel. Finally, the service was polite and speedy, though it wasn't bustling. Thus, not only would I happily return to Sake, but I would love to order the same three rolls again, for they were *that* good.

I had placed an order via Uber Eats from Sake. While my order was in route, the restaurant called and informed me that my driver forgot the hot items. Before I could even feel an ounce of disappointment and without prompt I was asked for my address as well as phone number and their delivery guy brought my ramen! No extra charge, and when I tried to give him a tip, he politely declined. THAT is platinum level of customer service. And to top it off, the sushi was delicious...I cannot wait to heat up and try the ramen. Highly suggest, if I could give more stars I would!

I would go to the original Brookline location but this one is a little easier for me to get to. My go-to is the OG miso ramen, It's very rich and hearty, leaving you quite satisfied after eating. If you want a "cleaner" flavor, then shio is a good choice. The portions are rather generous and they don't skimp on the toppings. You actually get a 1/2 egg included, which is becoming rare these days. The karaage (fried chicken) isn't the crispiest I've ever had but it is really flavorful and tender. The marinating and using boneless chicken thighs lends itself to having those two traits. Service is generally friendly and prompt. The area inside is a little dark, and uses artificial lighting to stay somewhat bright, but it's fine. This is a less cramped space than the Brookline location and since it's in a strip mall, there's parking. The area is rather devoid of ramen shops, so this was a much-welcomed addition.

I had heard about this spot for a while but hadn't had the chance to visit--until now, and I'm glad I did. This Japanese-style ramen restaurant offers a diverse selection of ramen along with other menu options. The space is well laid out, with plenty of seating, including bar seating where you can watch and engage in the food preparation experience. The service was prompt and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. If you're in the area and looking for a great ramen spot, I would definitely recommend giving this place a try. First off, the food came out fast (a win when you're starving), and the service was genuinely excellent. Attentive without hovering, friendly without forcing small talk. The place is cute and has plenty of seating. They also do take out! I ordered the Hawaiian poke bowl and WOW. The portion was huge (like "why did I think I could finish this?" huge), the price was super affordable, and the spice + flavor combo hit every craving I didn't even know I had. Balanced, bold, and just the right amount of heat. We also tried two rolls, plus the calamari and edamame, and everything across the board was solid. Fresh, well-made, and clearly cared for. To drink, I had the popping boba passionfruit tea and it was full of flavor without being overly sweet. Refreshing and fun, not syrupy. Overall: great food, generous portions, fair prices, and excellent service. I'll definitely be back and probably ordering the poke bowl again because... why mess with perfection?

When I saw the impressive average star rating of Hao on Yelp, I took it as a sign to give up on the traffic & treat myself to some sushi instead. I arrived just after they opened (around 4:50pm) & I had the restaurant to myself. It was clean, bright, & joyfully decorated. I was immediately struck with how cheerful & kind the server was. I felt like I had sat down in her home - that's how hospitable & familiar she felt. I asked for a bowl of miso soup to start, & it appeared in front of me in less than 3 minutes. It was warm, balanced, & the perfect appetizer. I moved on to some toro nigiri & their "crispy rice" appetizer (which was topped with spicy tuna, tobiko, honey miso, eel sauce, & fried seaweed.) The toro was spectacular. It was tender, fresh, & topped with a balanced little chutney situation that tasted a bit like wasabi. I don't like wasabi. I always opt out, if I can. But this little chutney was delicious! The crispy rice appetizer was spectacular & comforting as well. I could've eaten 2-3 more servings. I concluded my meal with an order of avocado & cucumber maki. It was rolled tightly & well balanced. A perfect, fresh roll. I'm so glad I stopped here! Dining in was a great choice. I felt welcomed & comfortable. Everything came out quickly, the sushi was incredible, & the service makes me want to sit in traffic again just to return. Enthusiastic 5/5 stars.
