Came on a Monday night to sit on the patio. Quick service and was seated right away. This location is mostly street parking but not super hard to find. I got the veggie crepe and a paper plane cocktail and it was delicious. My friend got the flatbread and also enjoyed it. The cocktails and wine are always good. Would come back.

Classy little wine bar tucked into a cute neighborhood. Extensive wine list and really great options for food to pair with it. The staff is very knowledgeable an can answer any questions you might have. Their patio upstairs is heated and offers views of the park acrossed the street. Always love a date or girls night here!

Great little neighborhood spot with a spacious patio. They have a great deal on wines during the week for $7 with food. Staff was very friendly and even offered us blankets while we sat outside.

I came here recently with some friends to enjoy the Martini Monday specials. Sasha's is always busy and it's a classic place to enjoy a drink. Service was wonderful with food & drinks coming out quickly. I had the espresso martini, the coffee flavor was nicely balanced with the foam on top. I also ordered the Oven Roasted Chicken Salad Sandwich. A toasted croissant, fresh vegetables, and crunchy chips on the side made this a great meal. Sasha's on Demun offers a cozy experience with great food and drinks.

This is my favorite location of Sasha's - it has an awesome patio, first and second floor/rooftop seating that is just, a total vibe. When it's nice outside there is a small wait if you don't have reservations but not too bad. The service is always excellent. The food is very close in comparison to the Sasha's on Shaw; of course our favorite sweet wine to accompany. This location is relatively central in Clayton Delmar area but on a tight street, street parking might be hard to find. Overall, such an excellent option for a date night, girls night outs, just drinks, etc.

My friend and I went here the other night and it was a fabulous experience! It was my first time, but my friend had been before. She helped me order and I loved everything we tried. Towards the end, we had the Nutella, strawberry, banana crepe and it was amazing! The prices are decent. Overall, the service was great and the vibes are immaculate. I recommend checking this place out for a fun night out on the town!

Second time here. Never been able to sit outside. But atmosphere is great inside. The first time we came was just for wine and an appetizer (the bruschetta) before a reservation at Louie (that review is posted under the Shaw location). This time I had the Riesling to help support tornado recovery and the Pesto Flatbread. The service was very good. Our server was professional and attentive. No complaints!

Came for the second time with some friends. I get why it's a popular spot! The wine selection is huge and the vibe is always nice. Great for date night or girls night to catch up. I always get the nonalcoholic rose and it's so good. We sat outside this time with no wait which was great, but it was super hot. Still a nice atmosphere though! We started with the cheeseboard which was more on the basic side than I expected, but we still ate the whole thing. Also got a pizza, the brie sandwich, and another sandwich between all of us and everything tasted great and exactly how it was described in the menu. The service this time wasn't the best. Our waiter brought the wrong food to our table and I ended up having to hand it to the table next to us myself after asking if it was theirs. He barely checked in on us and would only take a couple plates away even when the table was full of empty dishes. Not a huge deal but just felt kind of not taken care of. The other staff were so nice though I think they were managers and they were way more attentive. Cheesecake was pretty neautral and I wouldn't get it again. Nothing was wrong, but nothing was extra about it. Maybe a little too soft. But the potato croquette bites that come as a side make me obsessed. So good!! It's definitely on the pricier side, but I still like it overall. I'll be back and next time I want to try the crepes again!

Last weekend, I enjoyed dining at this charming wine bar that completely captivated me with its delightful ambiance. As soon as I stepped inside, I could feel the vibrant energy that set the perfect backdrop for a memorable evening. My friend and I decided to indulge in two bottles of red wine, eager to sample the distinct flavors from different vineyards; it was a fantastic way to elevate our experience. For my meal, I chose the crab cakes, and while they were divine, the portions were more of a tantalizing appetizer than a filling dish. On the other hand, my friend went for the luxurious Wagyu burger, which looked irresistible and surely satisfied her cravings. I highly recommend this spot if you want a lively wine bar with great drinks and a warm atmosphere. There's free street parking and a small lot next to the venue, but it's worth arriving early, as this place tends to get bustling with patrons eager to soak in the vibe!

I went to Sasha's for my birthday dinner, and it was a wonderful first trip! For me it's definitely a special occasions type of place, but worth the splurge. I had a glass of sparkling rose (can't remember the exact name) and we shared a Charcuterie Plate and the Grilled Veggie flatbread pizza, which was filling for dinner but not overly stuffed. The location in Demun is super cute although street parking can be a bit tricky, especially when it's busy. Inside was a bit loud, so I'd definitely try to grab a spot on their rooftop patio for an amazing ambiance! Our server was very friendly and quick as well. With the limited parking and the seating options, it's perfect for an intimate girls night, date night, or special occasion!

You can't beat a night out at Sasha's, whether you're just grabbing wine or grabbing some food. Their intimidate restaurant and patio is the perfect date spot. We came here after going to the art fair in Clayton and it was packed but that didn't impact the service we had, and the food was delicious! We got the goat cheese app to share, my friend got the flat bread, I got the dip and my boyfriend got the crepe. We all enjoyed every bite! I will definitely be back for another great night!

There's something about a place in Clayton insisting: don't call me a wine bar, I'm a wine dive…read more Okay. We see you. You're a wine bar. Nothing divey about a hip cocktail or hip deviled eggs -- these are sophisticated modern twists, the exact move wine bars make and dives don't. A chalkboard of specials and weathered seating gesture at the aesthetic; the rest of the room knows. Kendall Roy of restaurants -- comes from privilege, wants badly to be of the people. It's a bit, and mostly the kitchen and bar back it up. Nevertheless, we arrived to a full room, hour wait for a table, but we fortunately arrived to snag the last first come patio table. The bar was also full, by the way, which felt neighborhood like, people clearly like this place during happy hour. The old fashioned makes the case: Old Grand-Dad Bonded, pickled rye, cognac, butterscotch bitters. Two whiskeys and a bitter you won't find at an actual dive. Rich, a little sweet. The harissa deviled eggs keep going -- fried shallots, roasted red peppers, cilantro, marinated tomato jam. You know, just like the old dive with the $1 PBR.Deviled eggs for people that don't like deviled eggs. However, we love deviled eggs...foreshadowing. The short ribs are the headline -- fall-apart tender over whipped potatoes substantial enough to stand up to the meat, gravy spot on. Eats like a perfectly executed roast dinner. The brie burger is the sneaky second hit, genuinely decadent, bacon with the cheese melting into the beef. The service was good and pleasant and that felt more like dive-friendly, where you might expect a wine "bar" to be snooty or full of themselves. 4.4 Stars Picking Nits: hip deviled eggs that reach past what they can hold. Tomato jelly on top is a lot going on, in the wrong way, and the egg disappears under it. These are trying to be hip deviled eggs more than they're trying to be good deviled eggs. Every ambitious kitchen has one plate that tries too hard; this appears to be one. A 5 needs those eggs landing, in the same way the entrees excelled. Regardless, we'll be back.

The seating host and servers we met during this experience were very nice. I ordered the mushroom coffee: forest & meadow mushroom medicinal powder, served with a shot of espresso. I received a large, hot mug of beverage with artistic crema decor. Could not discern mushroom flavor save the grit at the bottom of the cup, but I can now say I've tried it. My eggs and salad dish came out next, along with an order of their toasted sourdough bread, butter and jam I ordered (their specialty). Unfortunately, the toast was cold, as was the liquidy fruit jam. Butter was ice cold out of the frig too since it has been forgotten and needed to be retrieved. The small green salad was fresh and tasty, but the two scrambled eggs were cold and rubbery. It was hard to know who was out server because aside from the seating hostess, four more people arrived, one after the other, at varying times to get the meal and forgotten items to our small party of three. I was left feeling that more training and organized timing of meals is needed at this establishment.

Food and drinks were great. No complaints there…read more Our party of 4 was on time but the kitchen was slow. The bill came 1 hour 35 mins after we were seated. After we paid (and tipped 30%), we were abruptly told by the hostess to leave the table and move outside to finish the drinks we had just ordered. We awkwardly gathered our belongings without protest and were rushed outside unassisted, with the other patrons staring at us. As we exited, we heard the server reappear and graciously apologize to the waiting party, offering them champagne. The table outside was set when we arrived but then actively cleared by the busser after we sat down. No one came back to check in. We felt unwelcome and quickly left. It was unnecessarily uncomfortable and put a damper on what was supposed to be a celebratory meal. This was a service failure. I understand the need to turn tables over quickly, but we should have been given at least 5 minutes notice, especially when the kitchen is running behind. Alternatively, the drinks could have been taken off the bill and we could have left outright. Even help moving or any involvement from our server or the manager would have been appreciated, but they were not present. Having had many great experiences at Vicia, I expected more from the take root hospitality group. We'll give Vicia another chance, but I'll be cautious about trying one of their sister restaurants again With the impending closure, this one may have already given up.

After a whole lot of research, knowing I wanted scallops for a main, I chose The Crossing. Our meal started with a complimentary offering of their bleu cheese soufflé with crisps and bread service--both delicious. I enjoyed a glass of their current "by the glass" Chardonnay, and my boyfriend got a Yeungling (poured table-side). I got my scallops, as planned, which certainly did not disappoint. Cooked perfectly, fresh and delicious. The wilted romaine seemed odd at first but totally rounded out the potato mash at the base, with the absolute flavor-bomb of the shiitakes. Highly recommend this dish any day! My boyfriend opted for the NY Strip; we both agreed it was one of the best steaks we'd ever had; seasoned perfectly and cooked masterfully. There was a slight mishap whereby a food runner gave him a tasting portion of the strip (likely meant for another table); we first didn't realize and were very disappointed with the size. However, without a word from us, the chef came out and personally explained, apologized, and corrected--I didn't snap a photo of the full portion when it came out, but it was perfect and much more what we expected. That brings me to the service, which was spectacular. Several staff members gave us a personal touch and they all seemed to be genuinely happy to be there. The space is beautiful and intimate. It was moderately busy and still quiet. The atmosphere feels upscale, but not pretentious or unapproachable. This place was on my radar for a long time, and I sure wish I'd gone long ago. If you're thinking about it, just go!! I can't wait to come back and try the chefs tasting menu--thank you for a wonderful dinner!
