We have been to this location many times and it keeps getting worse and worse. This time, as a party of three, the pasta dish came out in 10 minutes, which was great.. The salads, however, came out after 35 minutes! They weren't even busy. The worst part was when I told the manager that there was mold in the sink of the ladies' restroom, she said she'd tell the general manager. Why not just clean it? Today my husband and I had the best pizza of our lives at the Dana Park "SAUCE"! We ordered the Supreme pizza on thin crust, added extra onions, mushrooms and bacon. It was delicious! I came here with my fiance and son for an early dinner on Sunday. It was not too busy but there were quite a few people in the restaurant. They had their menu on a large chalkboard as you entered which was nice because you could review your options while you wait in line if there is one. Once we got to order, the ladies were helpful at the register. We already knew what we wanted but there were so many options to choose from. They offer salads, pastas, pizza, desserts and plenty of beverages and appetizers. We decided to go with The Pig Pizza and The Lasagna Pizza. Once we got the items, they looked absolutely delicious! Oh!! I forgot to mention we chose this cactus bloom tea (unsweetened) which was very good. We did not order thin crust, we got regular hand tossed pizzas and they were very good. They put a generous amount of the toppings on which was nice. The pig pizza was very flavorful and the meatballs on the lasagna pizza were indescribably delicious! In addition to that it is absolutely tiny and wouldn't fill up a normal size adult for lunch-- Plus they even jam the giant container of dressing in with the salad to take up even more room. I also ordered the bruschetta skewers as a side. I got two cherry tomatoes and two pieces of mozzarella with a slice of basil for 2.50!! As a bonus one of the tomatoes was rotten. Food is good but the last few times we have been disappointed with the service. Last night was the last straw. We were celebrating our grandson's birthday and he ordered a pepperoni pizza. I ordered a panini and my wife ordered a specialty pizza. My wife was served first and my panini came out almost 10 minutes later. No pepperoni pizza. After another 20 minutes I asked someone about our order. He said it was not entered into the computer; I asked to see the receipt and the counter person did not enter the pepperoni pizza. I asked to talk to the manager and explained that we came in to celebrate a birthday and have a fun time. Now my grandson is hungry and my wife and I are pretty upset. He told me that I should have seen the error on the screen. I told him its not my job to check the screen. I wonder why the counter people aren't train to confirm the order, or ask the customer to check the screen, or provide a receipt (no receipt was given to me and I was not asked if I wanted a receipt). The manager never apologized for the mistake but blamed me for the pizza not being ordered. He offered to sell us a pizza at but to wait another 20 minutes; this was not acceptable to me. We left the restaurant upset and angry. There are at least two dozen restaurants in the immediate area so we don't expect to go back to Sauce in the near future. read more

I must warn you my pizza did not include sauce as they have some unique choices on the board instead they used goat cheese and fig on my selection. This is one of my fave Italian places in the area. It's one of the Fox concept restaurants--which all seem to be pretty good from my experience. Cute inside - brick walls, kinda dark, you order at the register and they bring the food to your table. I really love their salads and pizzas. My fave salad is the Vegetable Salad, which is basically a bunch of chopped fresh veggies (corn, cucumbers, carrots, avocado, etc.) served over a bed of mixed greens with tangy dressing and a roll on the side. Even my friend who "hates vegetables" loves this salad! Pizza-wise, they all come on a thin, crispy crust which is nice because you don't feel like you need to be rolled out the door after you eat. I really like the Portobello & Artichoke and the Mozzarella, Fontina, & Basil pizzas but have heard from my carnivorous friends that the ones with meat are also pretty good. Even though you order at the counter, get your drink and seat your self, There is waiter service to come and refill my drink, which was nice because I sat outside and wouldn't have liked to leave my food alone to go inside and refill my glass. My waiter was Awesome and refilled my glass about 4 times......Afterall I was really thirsty from eating that saltine crust. The person who took our order read it back to us to make sure it was correct. It was correct. I preemptively gave a decent tip before our food came out. Our server was very friendly and brought us our food. Everything was great, except the grilled chicken was missing from the pizza. I mentioned this to the server and he said he had to speak with the manager. After some time passed, we were hungry and started eating our chicken-less pizza. He asked if I wanted some grilled chicken on the side, but I asked for a refund instead. We waited for awhile, and was asked if we wanted a cookie instead. No I didn't want a cookie, so he gave me $1.50. Well, I'll definitely come back because it was still tasty, but shouldn't a order be pretty easy to read especially when the main ingredient is grilled chicken? I'm sorry, but taking a food order shouldn't be like a game of telephone. Addendum: I was contacted with an apology so I'm going to change the review from a 3 star to a 4 star. read more

This place is even better than I remember it from 5 years ago. The pizzas are yummy and the Mac and cheese dishes are delicious! Try the tomato basil soup with grilled cheese!
