I have a new FaVoRiTe! I know this place is a chain, and when you walk in it sort of has the ambiance of a little bit corp-chain-cliche... think "Five-Guys-Goes-Italian"...sort of... but better... it smells yummy (so does five guys tho), big menu on the wall that you somehow don't see when you walk in, line up at the wall like single file in third grade, order at the register and take your number like you're at a eat-in cafeteria your grandmother insists on going to at each visit. EXCEPT: Sauce manages to pull it together in all this! Like I said, it smells yummy when you walk in, yeah you're in line but there's plenty of room, the employees are way more than polite and kind, the prices are absolutely fair and affordable (especially right now they have a summer special for two: 2 glasses of wine, a pizza and appetizer, I believe for $29- I'd want to double check that, I could be wrong, but whatever it is it's a fantastic deal), they bring your food to you matching your displayed number and you don't bust your own table. Real dishes and silverware not paper or plastic.... But I haven't gotten to the best part.! They have the most amazing chicken, Caesar salad salad pizza!! on a thin crust. I just think this dish is to die for.. if you pair this with their basil lemonade... which sounds totally weird, but it is so yummy, and the large size is ginormous enough for two people to share and have leftovers both the drink, and the pizza, we got out of there and under $20. For a post Covid casual dinner just outside the Scottsdale mall on a Saturday night. This cost is unheard of for how yummy it was.. open until 10 PM, busy with patrons but not so busy you're annoyed by the crowd and you don't have to wait.. didn't feel like dealing with servers and tipping, although we tipped the young Miss behind the register anyway because she was so friendly, this is a real find I will absolutely be coming back for the exact same meal as often as possible read more

My parents stopped by for a quick afternoon lunch and really enjoyed the pizza! We ordered one pizza with a salad and ended up ordering another one because it was that good. We got the portobello and artichoke thin crust which was delicious and also a build your own with a bunch of veggies, also delicious. The Caesar salad was perfectly crunch and flavorful. My mom and I loved the croutons. I picked up a cookie too, can never go wrong with chocolate chip. Service was quick and wonderful. Pretty impressed with this place! My experience is not dining in, and yet it was still delicious! My husband and I ordered: - pepperoni with crimini mushrooms - sausage with caramelized onions + ricotta - Italian panini - chocolate chip cookie + ice-cream I ordered both with ranch and the pesto ranch and enjoyed all of it! The sausage pizza with ricotta was a little sweet with the onions and rich, but flavorful. The crust was the right amount of crispy and chewy. I was very surprised by the panini... lots of flavor! 1. Ordered a gluten-free caesar salad pizza with turkey, very disappointed when I saw a regular chicken salad in a box and a pizza box with just gluten free crust and cheese, no sauce. 2. I was expected out the store in 20 minutes, took a total of 50 minutes in the store due to the kitchen making a mistake. 3. I also explained to the staff I was allergic to gluten, when stating a gluten free crust. The kitchen cooked a regular gluten filled pizza...? Which was the cause for my wait. The service here is amazing! Uh mazing! And I say that because this is not a formal dining establishment which it is surrounded by. The patrons have to be your casual lunch crowd, curbside diners and maybe some informal dinner folks. Yet they still treat you consistently with friendly top tier attention-and they really don't have to!. The employees always look clean and professional and they acknowledge and greet you as soon as you enter. If you are accustomed to so much less than this most places you go, you'll see why the service stands out. Food is always great and fresh. Price and value for what your order is reasonable. I would not go back to this Sauce location. I ordered a pizza, and it was very underwhelming. The crust and sauce were nothing special, the only thing that saved it was the caramelized onions on top. I would have been happier with a frozen pizza - at least that way I wouldn't have spent as much money. They didn't give my husband the bread that was supposed to come with his meal. I've been to other Sauce locations that are much better. If this one is in Scottsdale Fashion, it needs to step its game up. I would rather spend my money at almost any of the places right next to it! Not only was the food mediocre, the bathroom was really dirty. I ordered a Peroni Nastro Azzurro lager and a small peproni Pizza - and my server Tiffany insured that it was loaded! Everying came out really fast and piping hot fresh! I judge a pizza by the crust and the compoents on top. The crust I'd rate at 7-8 out of ten where ten is a fine crust found in Italy, and other fast food chains not to mention names but you know the standard fare rate about 2-4. They refused to serve our family member a glass of wine that had just turned 21 this week for a vertical ID who was excited to legally buy a glass. Unfortunately this place is extremely lackluster. It's pretty ironic the name of the restaurant is named sauce since they don't seem to put any on their pizza. Pizza was extremely dry and flavorless. We got the chicken pesto pizza and chicken Caesar salad. The chicken is so low quality it tastes like canned tuna and is so dry it's practically jerky. Would've enjoyed dominoes more. The only reason this place is still up and running is the convenience of the location. The only redeeming factor was the ranch. Maybe they should rename themselves ranch instead of sauce. read more

This is a regular spot for us in Tucson and we were excited to have something quick ans familiar nearby to grab a fast lunch while we were out.
