Delicious! We had a wonderful meal. We were a little nervous having our young children at such a nice sit down. Staff was very kind and we had a wonderful meal. Service was wonderful.

So I ordered the Sweet And Spicy "The OG" for takeout. Seriously it was disgusting the presentation. I have ordered before so I was really surprised this is what I received. Attached a photo. The cost was definitely not worth it. Very disappointed

We've visited this spot twice--once for lunch and once for dinner--and found the lunch deals to be the better value. Their $15 salad and pizza combo is a great option for midday dining. For dinner, we were lucky to catch a half-priced bottle of wine night, which made the evening feel like an excellent deal. The standout dish for us is the crab and artichoke dip, which has a queso-like quality that's absolutely delicious. The pizza is fairly average, but the chopped salad is another highlight we'd recommend. Overall, it's a solid choice for a casual meal, especially if you time your visit with one of their specials.

Babbo Italian Eatery has potential. I've visited this location a handful of times. I wanted to love it, but it was just okay. The facility is nice and has a small amount of Italian touches. If you order ahead, you can expect the order to take 30 minutes (during dinner) and it'll be on time. When picking up, don't leave without checking that you have everything. My order was missing a fork. Have you ever tried eating spaghetti without utensils? Not fun. On my most recent visit, I ordered the Spaghetti and Meatballs, which is their Monday night special. The pasta was fine, but the marinara sauce doesn't hit the mark for me. There's nothing wrong with it. It's just alright and, IMHO, the sauce makes or breaks the dish. The meatballs seemed like the grocery store frozen food variety. It also came with a side of focaccia bread (with oil and balsamic vinegar). I suppose for the Monday night special price of $6.99 (plus tax and tip) it'll do in a pinch. If paying full price, I'd have to think twice.

Good food for the price and friendly server. Quick and simple. The only negative I can say is it didn't feel like the cleanest place and there was some small flies. We got the lasagna and pesto pasta. I will add they had a really good happy hour deal that would be worth come in for

We came here after a long day at Great Wolf Lodge on a Thursday night. We were sat at a booth. It's a nice restaurant -- the interior is lovely and the service was quick. They bring you complementary bread with olive oil and balsamic for dipping. I ordered the chipotle chicken, my boyfriend ordered the chicken Alfredo and my daughter had the bolognese. The Alfredo was devoured almost immediately. I enjoyed my dish - it was creamy and the heat from the spice developed over time. Excellent portions as well! I had plenty of leftovers. My daughter's bolognese was exceptional -- the sauce was delicious! I would have tried the lasagna but it takes 30 minutes in the oven. Overall pleasant experience. We will be back.

    Here are the directions

So I picked up the family lasagna special on Christmas Eve. I noted the instructions were Nonni's Italian eatery but bake at home -Amy's Lasagna. Once I took off the top the lasagna was not made in this pan. There was an inch to two inches around each side. I feel like I must have bought Amy's which everyone can purchase in any grocery store in the freezer, when I thought I was buying a homemade product and then the price was jacked up. Very disappointed in this restaurant.

Our roasted brussels sprouts with warm beets & goat cheese was really a delicious salad. Complimentary soft warm bread with a dip of olive oil & balsamic vinegar. No atmosphere to speak of. Service was weird, we got our order ok, but the hostess was loudly speaking to a customer from across the restaurant.

We got the food delivered. I love the tomatoes and balsamic vinegar olive oil dipping with the bread. I could not stop enjoying them but I need room for my pasta. The pasta is tasty and the sausage is great. We will plan to dine in next time and enjoy more variety of food they offer.

Calzone from across the table, but trust me that it was as big as a 10yo's head

"Eat Like Italiano at Marcellino"…read more Marcellino Ristorante in Scottsdale is one of those places that's clearly popular for a reason. There was a long wait when we arrived but the staff made it pleasant by bringing out free bruschetta while we waited, which was a nice touch. The ambiance is very Italian--warm, charming, and inviting. They also have outdoor seating, which adds to the whole experience. There was live music that night, and it really set the mood without being overwhelming. I tried two of their non-alcoholic drinks: the rosemary mint lemonade and the hibiscus mango--both refreshing and thoughtfully made. My husband went with a lager beer, which paired well with the food. When we ordered, we were asked if we wanted to try their homemade pasta, and once we heard they have squid ink pasta, my husband didn't hesitate. We ordered it, and wow--it was amazing. The pasta was deeply flavorful, loaded with seafood, and served with lobster meat on the side, which took it to another level. We also ordered the Filetto di Malale--pork tenderloin sautéed with tender asparagus and green peppercorns, finished with a bourbon flambé. It was incredibly tender and packed with flavor. For dessert, we had the flaming panna cotta, which was both fun to watch and deliciously sweet. We were also happy to meet the owner-chef, Marcellino Verzino, which made the experience even more special. Overall, this place is absolutely worth visiting if you're looking for authentic Italian dishes here in Arizona. Definitely a spot we would return to.

I highly recommend trying both, especially if you've never had a Chicago beef. The juicy beef paired with giardiniera is super savory. Damn! I'm craving it again. I think I've said that in another review... but for reals this time! The pizza was perfectly crispy on the bottom with just the right amount of basil to top off each bite. For dinner on our third visit, we ordered the clam linguine and an Italian beef sandwich. My husband says this clam linguine was better than the other versions he's eaten at Little Italy. We made a reservation ahead of time and had a table ready for us on the outdoor patio. We went on a Friday and could instantly tell this place is legit. The ambiance isn't modern it's more home-style but honestly, who cares when the food is this good? The service was excellent and incredibly fast. We were on a bit of a time crunch, and they helped us wrap everything up right on schedule. For drinks, I ordered a Cosmo and oh my one of the best cocktails I've had. The flavor was perfectly balanced and so smooth. For appetizers, we tried Emma's dumplings, beet salad, Brussels sprouts, and burrata. They started us off with house-made bread and homemade butter, I could eat that all day. So good! We were pleasantly surprised by the amazing vegetarian options. The Brussels sprouts, beet salad, and Emma's dumplings were definite winners each dish was flavorful and beautifully presented. For mains, we ordered the penne vodka. I had high expectations, and while it was good, it was more on the average side compared to everything else. And finally the butter cake for dessert absolutely knocked it out of the park. You could literally taste the butter in every bite, Unreal. Pricing is very reasonable, and overall the service and food were beyond exceptional. We'll definitely be back!

I did go on a first date here and maybe not as romantic as I would have liked -- much more of a family vibe -- or in the bar area was all about sports. It was a Saturday night and my date had made a reservation but it looked like we could have easily gotten a table without one. There is a parking lot but couldn't tell if it was easy parking because we took an Uber since we were drinkiing. I started with an espresso martini and I would give it a 4/10 -- I think the espresso used was low quality because it wasn't my favorite. My date got a whiskey old fashioned and he liked it. Service was pretty good -- it was a busy Saturday night. I wanted to order a glass of wine with my meal but the server was gone for some time so my date had to flag her down. I ordered the halibut with crab on top and the server recommended a white wine to pair -- I thought it was an usual suggestion but went with it -- she didn't even suggest which white - so I went with a Sav Blanc and it was actually quite good -- I didn't catch the name. We started with some shrimp cocktail and that was pretty good, sauce was tasty. The halibut was actually quite good and cooked to perfection - the crab on top was really good too -- it came on a bed of linguini which was too much -- I didn't really eat that. My date had the filet special with a lobster sauce -- it looked really rich and the portion was huge! He couldn't even eat it all. Overall I enjoyed my meal, I was quite full when we left, LOL! I didn't catch how much the total cost was but I think it had to have been at least $200 -- so definitely some dough will be dropped! But for a special occasion it is worth it.
