I am extremely upset about what happened at this Save Mart today. Another customer(the middle aged man) nearly hit my cart and then became openly aggressive and verbally abusive toward me. I was told to "fuck off" and subjected to additional hostile comments. I immediately reported this to an employee and then spoke directly with the manager. Shockingly, nothing was done. The individuals were not spoken to, corrected, or addressed in any way. The store completely failed to intervene. No customer should be verbally harassed and then ignored by management when they ask for help. I left feeling angry, unsafe, and dismissed. Save Mart's lack of response was unacceptable, and this experience has seriously changed how I view this store. In the pictures below you can see a sad, middle aged couple. What happened to the customer service here. We have always shopped here (20+ years) and these past years (after they changed management), they can care less about their customers. All I hear from my mom is how rude their employees are (the full time staff). If my mom is not tech savy with her phone and having a hard time with the digitial coupons, offer to help. If she asked someone to help her while she is already in line...and the guy sent her to Customer Service to redeem her lottery, don't resend her back in line AGAIN. Shame on your staff and new management needs to take our feedback seriously. read more

My coworker and I stopped by to grab food for our potluck and arrived a little early. We were greeted by a team member named Sally, who was by far one of the most attentive and kind employees we've encountered at Save Mart in a long time. She let us know exactly when the food would be ready and assured us she'd do her best to have it done on time. When we came back, she already had everything prepared and neatly bagged for us. The worst experience ever! The cashier Matt was extremely rude to our military veteran and our children. Our 21 year went to buy water, ice and drinks for us and he cursed at them for buying alcoholic drinks and belittled our veteran. So rude and disrespectful. They were doing nothing wrong but buying drinks and he decided to belittle them. I don't know what kind of service Savemart is handing out but this was uncalled for. read more

Like all stores, they may change over time, depending on the manager. Current management is very good and their store is always clean. There are times when they could use more stock on the shelves, but that's not the fault of the store itself. When SaveMart was recently acquired by a new company, they all started to go downhill. The closing of their SMART trucking system has delayed deliveries to every store, causing customers to lose confidence in the store. That said, it's still the people who make it a good place to shop. Great experience! Shortly after walking in, a worker greeted. Very clean and organized. Easy to find what you need. I ended up getting shredded chicken for lunch and saw the breakfast hot pockets. Had to get those for something different on the breakfast menu next week! Checkout after that and the worker was very kind. Paid and he handed over the receipt with well wishes! I have to rave about the cake decorators here. I know they have templates to follow for ideas but the decorators go above and beyond in making it their own. It was so cute! And even the decorator taking our order was kind and sweet to my son asking him what flavor he wanted, what colors he loved. Just amazing customer service and artistic skill! read more

The dude and I came to Save Mart around the early March where everyone was raiding the shelves of stores. The dude and I were on the prowl for regular items which we walked by and stumbled on several empty shelves which you rarely see at Savemart due to Save mart being more expensive than other stores. However, I usually don't shop at Save Mart only a few times as I feel like Save Mart has the best variety ice cream selections. Which the flavors are more unique and upscale. They have self check and I do love how the staff bags your items when you check out with a Cashier. The staff is always friendly and the store is always clean and organized. I enjoy coming to Save Marts they have a good wine selection and alcohol section as well. Overall, I do like to stop by and see what ice cream flavors are available and new wines to try. I went to savemart at willow n herndon early to shop. Im pretty chill i usually don't write a review but today im at the parking lot writing one. I've shopped at this store for over a decade but today there was a chuncky white older man at the register who had a social skill of I'm not sure what. He was grumpy not personable i asked him a question and he raised his voice at me. Then he had a young man with Curley hair with same personality who was assisting him. who was acting like he did not want to be there... what ever happened to customer service at least smile and pretend you like your job or yourself don't spread your negative vibe... I've docked a star due to the deli counter, there's always 2-3 employees working and no matter how empty/busy the store is, it is almost impossible to get anyone's attention. The store is kind of an old school one but that doesn't mean it is not well taken care of. I found exactly what I wanted and was in and out in no time. Their prices are a bit on the high side, but let me tell you why I'm giving them a one star review...each and every time I've come to these stores no matter where it's located in the valley, their dairy products suck! first off, most of the stuff (Milk) they sell has a one week expiration average or has already expired !!!! take the picture as an example from today they sell expired milk?! Everything else has a "best by" one week from today and just completely unacceptable. and they only sell their brand Sunnyside products which also sucks. shouldn't go to a store and find staple items in this condition! They used my bags and packed them well. The employee Daniel helped my all the way to the truck and I really appreciated the help for my last stop of the day before an hour drive home. A huge chain groceries that supplies huge range of items that you could normally find at any main groceries. This groceries is really useful for western and mexican cooking, and most household goods - such as detergent and body care, but certainly doesn't carry all the essentials for ethnic foods i.e - south east asian, indian, Armenian and etc. The location is very strategic , enclosed within the willow station, close proximity to CVS, trader joes and food outlets in this shopping centre. They do have a huge range of dairy products, meats and seafood. I have purchased poultry, milk, and meat from here and all seems to be in good condition. However I am slightly skeptical about the freshness of their seafood. The prices in comparison to other stores seem a steeper. I compared their arrowhead 3 gallon water, it was price $4 here in comparison to $3 at target. Nevertheless, if you are a budget shopper you might find deals here too at times, but compare closely. In addition to confirm my claim, I compared the Ghirradelli brownies mix which was priced $3.99 in comparison to $2 at walmart neighborhood stores. There are plenty of parking. The negatives to this store includes their waiting time at check out, lack of self check out aisle for 10 or less items and artificial customer service. The time it takes for a customer to check out is key, if this store doesn't attempt to improve it, it might loose out the market share and in the future loose more business. I know I won't be frequenting here in a rush schedule, because they are too slow. On the same note, their service seems very unfriendly. I don't mind for a place to charge anything at a premium price as long as there is premium service, however save mart really fails at that, their service is very lacking and their workers seems miserable and old. read more

Decided to stop after church, but generally not the Savemart I utilize. The bakery people did not want to help me so I moved on. When I took my things to register 4 he was very accommodating on a slow Sat night. The problem was the bagger. She was discussing something with another employee and was very loud & upset. I didn't get involved, but it was not appropriate and when the checker asked her to get the soda out of the bottom of my cart she ignored him. My neighborhood grocery store. I shop at Save Mart and Trader Joes often. This store is never busy. I've never seen more than 4 customers in one line at a time. Whenever there is that many people in line they are good at getting another line opened. Very friendly and helpful staff. Every dept goes above and beyond to help when you're in their dept. I don't think they're as clean and as nice as Whole Foods or Von's but they have great customer service! They're always asking to escort you out with your groceries and I love the demo guys! There's a big sign as your enter which says 'masks required' - store policy. But no one is enforcing it and half or more shoppers aren't wearing them. It's also very crowded most times and most days. I'll be switching to another store - not a Save Mart and one located in Fresno wear the City mandates masks. It's just too risky. read more

I am a senior and could not get out to find my specific gluten free baking item. I called this store and Jordan the manager answered the phone. He immediately offered to look for an item I could use and even read the ingredients to make sure I didn't get something I was allergic to.
