I've been back 3 days in a row for the garlic knots and Mediterranean salad. Perfect amount of garlic and dressing on the salad. They are located in Metro mall where taste of italy was. I am not one who usually orders a veggie pizza but i saw the special slice today of broccoli and roasted tomatoes, i just had to try. It was delicious. Came with a small side of sauce if u wanted to add to your pizza. I used that bad boy up dipping my pizza crust. Also added a small salad and soda for 2.99 extra. Special pizza slices are 4.95. Not a bad price at all. They have about 5 pies to choose from. 1 or 2 topping or stuffed pizza, cheese..You get the idea. Order slice and they put in oven so crust comes out crispy and cheese melty. Other items where sandwiches and pasta and whole pies. I am definitely going back to order a clam casino pie. Nice place in the inside and staff was just as nice and answered all my questions. Saverios will be on my lunch rotations for the work weeks. read more

Have taken out pizza from here a few times and it's always so good. Maybe once it was a little over cooked where the bottom tasted a little burn but still edible. The closest you'll find to NY pizza in anchorage and I'm from NY. I took off a star for the garlic knots. I believe they use jarred minced garlic and fresh is preferable and they only sell one size pizza pie or you can get slices. Other than that, the staff is friendly and the pizza is good. I can't comment on any other meals. My kids love their pizza and we definitely don't hesitate to come here. read more

We were visiting the area and ordered delivery from Saverio's. We ordered the Margarita Pizza which was delivered by Door Dash. It was still warm when we got it. The sauce was excellent and obviously home made. Just enough sweetness. The crust was thin and perfectly cooked. The Buffalo mozzarella was sliced thin so it melted perfectly. If I ever return to Anchorage I will definitely order another pizza. read more

I ordered lasagna and the online app said it would take 45 minutes or so. I was ok with that. However, they surprised me by delivering it much faster, and it was piping hot. I enjoyed the meal but found the sauce to be a little bland. All in all, a great meal at a great price. read more

This is a little gem. It is hard to match the warm customer service and delicious food at such reasonable prices. I feel like I am getting away with something when I go in for lunch and get a pepperoni roll. Sometimes you just need to indulge in comfort food and cravings and this spot really fills the void. This is quite possibly the best authentic Italian restaurant in Anchorage. It is higher quality than most average pizzerias in Italy itself. The red sauce actually tastes like tomatoes, the ricotta has flavor that most American-store-bought stuff lacks. Perfect amount of spices. I'll have to get a pizza next time around. 6/5 read more

This is some of the tastiest pizza I've ever had. Truly some authentic NY style pizza. Thin, slightly chewy, but flavorful crust. The sauce is the best and not sweet like your typical chain restaurant. It's a family-owned and ran place and you'll even see a daughter or grandkid helping behind the counter. The menu is simple but there's plenty to choose from, from by-the-slice cheese to stuffed pizzas. Do yourself a treat and get some for lunch, because they're not open terribly late. It doesn't look like a lot from the outside as it's a little hole in the wall in a strip mall but the interior is cozy and the pizza is delicious. It's also HUGE. We absolutely loved the pepperoni. The crust was thin without being cracker crunchy. The sauce to cheese and topping ratio was fabulous and it's definitely the place to go if you don't mind quite a lot of grease on your pizza. read more

Ok, everyone who lives or has visited Anchorage knows who rules the pizza world, and yes i enjoy some of their pizza's. But I am an old school guy and we have some new really great old and authenitic Italian places in Anchorage, this is one of them. The owner is Neapolitan, and I love Neapolitans, they are the nicest people in Italy. I have eaten pizzas all ove the world, at the heavy hitters, North Beach, Uno, and the holy grail Da Michele in Naples. This is an honest, family run no flash, pizza joint, it simply has a cozy vibe and the pizza is amazing, by the slice or whole pie. If you order in and have a slace they toss it in the oven to warm it for you. They dont drown in ingrediants like we typically do over here. In Italy its two tops, thats it. I have to say the crust is what makes these great, a nice char and cooked through. read more

So happy to see one of our favorite pizza places stay open through this pandemic! Normally I dash in for a quick lunch time slice and a salad, however this time we were craving it for dinner. At the time, they were only offering pick up and delivery so we called in an order for pickup and it only took about 30 mins for a pizza and garlic knots! The garlic knots were so good: crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with a yummy garlic, parmesan, butter mix drizzled on top. The pizza was also delicious as per usual! We asked for a half pepperoni/mushroom and half canadian bacon/pineapple and it really hit the spot! They take so much pride in their restaurant and make their sauce and dough fresh everyday.
