    Four dip plate
    Rod A.

What a little gem. Stopped for a quick lunch and left so full and ready for a nap. We shared a falafel wrap and a four dip plate. Falafel was moist and delicious. Cooked perfectly and comes cut in half. Perfect for sharing. The dips were amazing. The dips included a tomato based dip, green hummus, traditional hummus, and baba ganoush. The green hummus was the best, followed by the tomato based dip. We devoured everything. House made hummus made the meal. The owner came out at the end of the meal to ask how things were. Great touch. Very friendly. We will definitely be back!

A worthwhile short trek from Golden Gate Park. Savor provides fantastic vegetarian food (even my meat-loving lunch partner was impressed), and a comfortable setting. Service is quite laid back. We shared the quinoa fattoush salad, I had the very tasty vegan melt, and my lunch partner had the artichoke shwarma. Every bite was delicious.

Yum! The food was delicious, we got there around 6 on a Friday and it was pretty empty but as soon as it hit 7 it started getting crowded (with it seemed like a lot of regulars). It was tapas so portions were pretty small and not super cheap (it's sf so what do you expect). But we still enjoyed and would come back! We asked the owner some questions about the food and he gave us a nice thorough explanation!

Savor was such a joy to visit on my recent trip to SF. I'm always on the lookout for new vegan eats and Savor hit the spot with its healthy and flavorful Mediterranean menu. The place was a little smaller than I had thought it'd be from the pictures, and it seems there is no patio dining in the winter months. However, it was clean and cozy on the inside. The owner greeted me warmly and helped me pick out some dishes to try. Both were fantastic and very charmingly plated too. I honestly couldn't say which one I liked more. They came with a hearty lentil soup. If I were local I'd definitely be a regular here! A special thank you to the owner for the vegan croissant for my service pup :) He loved it, and so did I!

Wow I was very happy to find this place. I am often looking for a good lunch place near UCSF Parnassus and most often go over to 9th and eat at Tartine. But this place was a wonderful surprise. We enjoyed a delicious soup and two tasty vegan entrees (one was the wild mushroom knaffe and the other was potato and sage torte). We topped it off with Baklava and Dubai Chocolate torte for dessert. The service was warm and hospitable and they even sent us home with some extra soup! The corner location made it easy to drop off my passenger (mom) who uses a walker and I even found parking nearby. But it is also walkable from UCSF and right on the muni line too. 10/10 would return.

One of the best meals i've had, the food was incredible!! The service was incredible as well!! My fiancé and I were originally only going to order two dishes but the waiter suggested we get a third so we don't leave hungry and we definitely weren't hungry after leaving! We got Yemeni chai w/ oatmilk to drink and it was the best chai i've had in my life I swear! It was warm and comforting. I also appreciate that everything is 100% vegan and that we got to enjoy a meal without worrying about possible cross contamination or having to edit each item heavily!

Great food great service, everything is good and you can't go wrong. Some outside seating. Music on some Sunday evenings - feels so Parisian!

This Mediterranean Gem has such fresh, flavorful food. The lentil soup was outstanding. The chef inspires his own dishes he creates in his mind. Comfortable place and prices are reasonable. Cheers to delicious!

I was standing outside of the "store" and a woman opened the door to tell me that they didn't open until 5. I told her that we had a reservation at 5 and that I understood. No way was she going to let me in early to get off the street (in a fairly rough area). Entryway smelled of urine. When the rest of my party arrived, they were closer to 5 but we still had to wait until exactly 5:00 to get in. When we finally got in, the fake, pawn shop front was pretty cute. We got the ceremonious tour and speal and were lead into the back where the bar is. They sat us upstairs in back and let us know that we had 1 hour before we would need to leave for a large party coming in. Limited menu for both drinks and apps. No entrees, couldn't even get a Cabernet. The "large party" coming in to kick us out never materialized. Overall feel was that they didn't want us as customers. Not impressed. I can spend my money in better places.

We arrived during happy hour and nearly sampled the entire happy hour menu. Of the outstanding dishes, two stood above the others, the short rib skewer and the original hummus plate. The hummus plate was a taste of absolute mastery and the sauce for the short rib skewer was nothing shy of perfection. If not for the hummus being so good, the pita would simply exist to help you sop up that sauce. On top of the excellent food, the service was extraordinary. Prompt and attentive and exuding kindness; from the head chef to the runners, those that work there are devoted to providing an experience of fine and comfortable dining. I also want to say a special thanks to the head chef for making my young son's evening. Not only did you see our needs but you took it upon yourself to see to those needs met before we even asked. When bringing your child out to a fine restaurant like Barcha, one feels worried that the atmosphere will not be welcoming to the sensitivity of your young child. You made certain that this wasn't the case for us. I've said enough--Barcha is what makes five stars shine.

I like that there's a casual vibe to this restaurant and it's not super uppity like other Michelin star restaurants. I don't know if it was our server, but everyone at my table had a really hard time hearing him so it was a little confusing at first how things work. I like the concept of being able to order from the menu and other bites that are circulated around the restaurant "dim sum style." I wish I knew what was offered dim sum style before we ordered. I'm glad that we went with another couple because that means we were able to try share dishes and more things. If it was just my husband and I we wouldn't have been able to try as many things. Fav dishes were smoked trout and chip, potato fry bread with burrata, cheddar pancake and peanut milk. I think the surprise of the night was a peanut milk. When reading reviews I heard a lot of people talk about the peanut milk, but I couldn't wrap my head around why something as simple peanut milk was mentioned so many times. I'm glad I was proven wrong. That peanut milk was so amazing. It was very balanced, nice and creamy, but not too heavy. It was the perfect way to end the night. I would definitely come back and try the other things and revisit my favorites Overall 4.5/5

And just like that... Another Michelin experience has been enjoyed…read more San Francisco is filled with so many enjoyable Michelin starred restaurants, that it's become my moral imperative to enjoy all of them. State bird provisions is definitely its own unique experience. This American style is unique to most Michelin experiences that are usually an extensive tasting menu, and State bird is a small menu experience with an extensive dim sum experience. Once seated, the small menu is presented, and you select from the miniature clipboard the items that you would like and the quantity. This is where you'll want to cautiously order because the dim sum experience immediately follows suit. Food is served at a very rapid pace, and that is the one area that I did not enjoy. I want that experience where I can actually enjoy the food and not feel rushed, in this entire experience felt incredibly rushed. We sat at the chefs counter, which is a personal preference, and I found it odd that there was zero interaction between the counter and the chefs, vice versa. That's rather unusual because even in a sushi restaurant when you sit at the counter, it's for the experience in the interaction that you get with the sushi chef. Each dish was delicious, and if everything wasn't rapid fire, it would've been nice to go back and have more of some dishes less of others. The trick is that you only know what items you'll be enjoying from your small menu, and the dim sum is all a complete surprise. So you have no idea what you will be presented with, nor what's coming next. We were given 12 different options. The only dish that I did not like, and we did try almost all of them, was a pseudo cherry dessert that was presented in the middle of the dim sum assortment. It wasn't sweet, it wasn't necessarily tart. It was just an odd combo and each dish should set you up for the following, and in fact this one really curbed my appetite, and I was left feeling like the meal should've been concluded when in fact, we were only halfway through it. The menu will change since everything prepared is seasonal, and the weight staff did mention that the dim sum items for the most part also change. They have a few that they keep in their regular rotation, so you'll always be surprised by the offerings, like the smoked trout and potato chips. Absolutely delicious! Diners tip: reservations are a must, and attire seems to be fairly casual. If you haven't had a Michelin experience and you're looking for a meal that offers a variety of different of tapas, state bird is your place! Parking was pretty easy, which is always appreciated being in San Francisco, and the wait staff is super friendly and accommodating. Go hungry!
