My fish tacos each had a large piece of fish in them. The fish was seasoned and cooked perfectly, was flaky, and delicious. My sweet potato fries were a little overcooked, but still pretty good. Two weeks ago, it was undercooked and cold in the middle. The more well-done pieces I was able to eat, but the little pieces I could not. The following week, we decided to try the newly opened section on the corner inside the old Arooga's. Two bartenders working, the bar was not that busy but one of the bartenders closest to us didn't even acknowledge or let us know that she'd be right with us. It took the other very attentive and excellent bartender at the other end of the bar to notice my eyes looking around for some help when she came over to take care of us. She was great! The petite blonde was absolutely the worst and I wish I knew her name so I could call her out in this review. I used to love this place and my previous review is five stars. It's definitely not the same as it was before so I'm not sure we will be visiting this establishment again.

Service overall was friendly and prompt. Even though it is clearly a bar, it is also calm enough during certain hours that you could do some work or have a low key meeting. I would not try that during peak drinking hours. I am not sure of the exact hours, but it seems like more of a late day or evening spot than a lunch stop. If you are in the area and want a solid cocktail and a snack, High Dive is an easy pick.

The view is awesome and the seating setup really lets you relax and soak it all in, definitely a great warm-weather hangout spot. The bartender was smooth, quick, and knew exactly what he was doing, which always elevates the experience.
