All I know is I love this place for the service for the vibe for the karaoke for letting me sing into a microphone my favorite songs for karaoke... Iss not bad. Glad they have a pool table near me so I don't have to drive to WeHo. Not glad they have the same type stuff here aka a strip show, aka burlesque. Easy enough to just not watch and sit in the back but I don't even like being exposed to that weird crap at all. Pool I think is a dollar or two idk I didn't play. They had the Clippers on. Can't get into baseball but I enjoyed my time nonetheless, just needed to get out of the house. Bartenders are chill and normal. Its a big dive bar basically just like it looks from the outside. Huge shout out to the wonderful angel Joni and the kind woman behind the bar. Someone had smashed my car on Sepulveda and I came to ask if I could leave my car parked in their lot overnight. When Joni saw me at the door, she took over and took care of me and my husband who had come to take me home. We had never been inside before and it was very wholesome, and every TV had something different on so there was something (sports and more) for everyone, A few pool tables, very neighborhood feeling. On a Tuesday night. It was packed! My friend got there first and had to wait to secure a table for my boyfriend and I. Drinks are at a crazy good price. It seems like a very regular crowd with the karaoke, singers, being exceptionally good quality, and the bartender is being exceptionally friendly.. there is a burger vendor in front who cooks burgers on his grill made to order with six different sauces and exceptionally fresh buns. He even delivers them inside.. prices are excellent with a variety of great draft beers in small and large pithchers at half of what you would pay at any other beer joint. First time coming here. I found it because I heard they had karaoke on Tuesdays. I also wanted a dive bar, I hadn't been to a dive bar in years. So I show up early to get my name on the karaoke rotation as soon as it starts only to find out they have a burlesque show first. I ask what's a burlesque show, I'm pretty sheltered I guess. I'm informed that it involves b double o bs and butts. I shrug. Cool, I'll stay. Did not disappoint. So then karaoke starts. The place is packed. The crowd is supportive and friendly and sings along. People are playing pool, easy to find conversation. Kick ass dive bar I'm thinking. But wait, it gets better. So about 11:30 a guy is singing Red Solo Cup, perfect dive bar drunken party song. The ground starts shaking and it feels like an earthquake. I notice people by the pool tables scattering and coming towards me. I'm thinking there's no way they're this scared of a little earthquake in a dive bar in Los Angeles. Haha, nope. It was a full on bar room brawl and it was coming straight at me! There were tables tipping over, chairs flying, glasses and bottles breaking, fists flying, pool sticks breaking, it was AWESOME! They ended in a pile of bodies at my feet with one dude trying to pummel this other dude but the crowd grabbed him and broke it up before serious injury could occur. Perfect timing. But wait, there's more! So they kicked out everyone involved and this one lady got mad she was getting kicked out and grabbed a pitcher to start round two but she got subdued really quickly. We randomly came on a Burlesque night and was blown away by the crowd for a weekday night and the energy in the room. My friend and I were mostly there to play pool though and it is definitely run by sharks. I wish the system was different so you could just play with your friend but unfortunately you have to wait 20 minutes to play a game against a regular where they will absolutely obliterate you! No fun. I would recommend this place still though but be sure to sharpen up your pool skills before you come haha. read more

Great place with good snacks and great drinks. The only downside is that they still offer Bud Light woke joke beer. The bar used to have more interesting patrons, some of whom have disappeared making the joint duller. One regular was James Bond 007 who came and went periodically and carried an array of electronic spy devices. I haven't been around because this has been a bad year for me and my family. I spent 40 days in the hospital after two emergency surgeries which left me with a 50% chance of survival. Then two other surgeries later on. My daughter lost her job while undertaking a 007 special mission and has been ill and hospitalized a lot of the time since. 007 left before all of this but left behind some of his own collateral damage. I recently got a message from 007 saying he worked out a deal with Goldfinger to sell the top secret EMachine. Goldfinger was to get 60% and Felix, (of the CIA), to get 40%. Wouldn't you know, Goldfinger kept all 100% and finally beat 007. Felix is now selling bags of oranges at the freeway onramp. Maybe I'll stop by and sing "Goldfinger" on the karaoke. Randomly walked into this place on a Friday night and it was super busy. Was greeted from the bartender named Sara and she had just the sweetest most charming personality even under all the pressures of everyone yelling and playing pool and having fun she was like the heart of the place and she was fantastic. Came around 1pm on a Saturday. Drinks are super cheap!! 3 draft IPAs and 2 sours for $35. They had FREE darts and FREE food (chicken wings, fries, onion rings, fried pickle). 2 pool tables for 75cents play and a bunch of sticks! Equipment in really good condition. Seeing as The Scarlet Lady is my home bar for my dart team, I figured I should update my review. Service has definitely improved and I hope it's not just because I'm a regular but that because my first experience was just an off night for the bartender. Drinks are stiff and affordable however, the craft beer selection is nonexistent. It's a dive bar, by looks and by feel. And, having been a thrower in the dart scene for years, it's my kind of place. I come by to practice and for organized matches as it's one of the closest to home. There are two boards in pretty bad condition - but not only do I bring my own in, I also bring in a white board for scoring. I don't much care for chalk as it affects my grip when holding and throwing darts. There are two pool tables and a both a golf and bowling, arcade video game. They're really popular and I notice that it brings people together, many times, strangers as it's cheap, easy fun. Lots of TVs for sports viewing - and Happy Hour prices are very reasonable. Parking can sometimes be tight unless you park in back which is sort of sketchy at night. read more
