This is an amazing wine restaurant. The staff understood the assignment. They're nice. They're friendly. They have smiles. They asked to take your order very quickly. They give you your choices of wine and the food is delicious. They are honest with what they serve - drinks and a bit of food. Super friendly staff too. Can't say the wine list is anything special, but for an airport, you can't complain too too much. The food, though, is decidedly not cheap either (nor is anything an the airport), and the cobb salad felt like more protein than salad. We came across this place at St. Louis airport during a stopover. It seemed like a nice child-free zone, more upscale than the other bars with tvs or fast food places. The chance to do a wine flight was appealing plus they had a deal on 3 for $39 bottles. We passed on that. As part of Women's History Month, they featured flights by Women owned vineyards or companies, so I opted for that. I was not too thrilled with the $20+ price of the Mediterranean salad with chicken added, but it's the airport, what can you do? It was very good, I have to say and it's hard to find fresh, healthy option in an airport. Our server was professional but not over-chatty. I will look for these when I travel via plane, but maybe just do the flights instead of the overpriced food. read more

Hanging out in the airport in St. Louis is not my first choice for killing time. Vino Volo though was pleasant. The wine list is interesting. The flatbread was very yummy. Ordered a Macallan 18. Of which I prefaced, is it double oak or Sherry cask finished? Sherry oak he said, that's what I was hoping for . I was told by the bartender I should check the price first." I don't think you would've said that to me if I was in a suit, would you?" I replied. Then he went on about some bullshit that some guy ordered it last week and complained about the price. I have on a free hat I got after purchasing a $200,000 piece of construction equipment, I Look like a roughneck but also I'm wearing a Breitling (16k$) this particular occasion. This guy needs to learn how to read the room. I fly out of here once a month and I probably spent $1000 at this bar this last year each time usually about $100 a time on their top whiskey or scotch offering, won't be back. read more

The St. Louis airport Vino Volo is the best I've ever been to. The food and the service were excellent. Get the Burrata salad and hummus fold over. Don't eat anywhere else in the airport unless you want a generic experience. read more

Gate A at STL airport... tried the Queens Pick flatbread and the white wine flight. LOVED the Woolpack Sauvignon blanc! The service was not great but I thoroughly enjoyed the wine and food. I want to order a bottle of that wine!!! read more

It's essentially wine or water for beverages. I think they thought I was weird for not even having a Pellegrino. I'd had plenty of wine, and unfortunately was not feeling like a glass before flying on 3/6. I had a flatbread for lunch, not even sure what it was called but my colleague was eating one when we connected with her here and it was easier to say "I'll have what she's having." It was pretty tasty with a pesto base, sun dried tomatoes,and topped with cheeses and arugula. It was pretty speedy in being prepared. Not sure of cost as my colleague picked up the bill. They have this restaurant at many airports and a loyalty program scores you points towards tastings & other advantages with annual spend. read more

Sat down with my 4 month old daughter and was trying to get situated so I could go on my connecting flight. I was going to order an avocado toast once I got my daughter situated. The only employee comes over and asks "is there something you need?" In a super snarky tone, so I responded with sarcasm "no, I'm just going to sit here." She tells me to leave unless I pay for something, so I say "I'll have the avocado toast" and she decided to say "are you sure? it's pretty expensive." Don't go here, very rude customer service, unkind to mothers, no postage of signs stating paying customers only. Right across from the Hudson gift shop by Gate E18. It's been almost 40 minutes and I'm still waiting on 1 piece of avocado toast while there was only one other person who already has their drink and meal. read more
