1/16/2026: Best Schlotzsky's bread, ever! Service was terrific, and the restaurant was clean. I was impressed! I tore into my sandwich too fast to get a good photo, but I am serious when I say, YUUUUUM! We originally needed a shady spot to park in since I had my pup with me. It was chilly that day, but I was afraid she would get hot if the car sat in the sun. They have a shady spot and it is right by the entrance. Went today for the first time on 61st St. and ordered the signature sandwich. It was terrible, slimey with grease or whatever sauce they put on it. Not the first time I've tried to patronize this establishment during posted open hours to see employees inside the business and the doors locked. Arrived at 8:02 PM. Hours 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM. This location does not even want your business. This is a place where the employees hope no one shows up. We arrive at 7:40 pm only to find a note on the door saying they are reopening at 8 pm. So we spend 15 minutes inputting our order online only to receive a message saying they are not taking online orders. There are two employees inside and when we got one to come to the door they were very rude. Why even have a business if this is the deal? Just close the place down and be done with it. read more

Sandwich's felt microwaved and not served with the right ingredients. Order was ready on time but sub par.

Tried twice in 2 weeks to order food. Both times around 7:30pm, both times doors locked. That will be my last attempt. This owner clearly doesn't want any business, so why bother. read more

My first time at Schlotzky's will be my last time...The male employee here failed to greet me at all (I'm 65yrs old) and he acted as if l was wasting his time... I came in into this establishment with my wife... This was the worst service ever. The restaurant is filthy. I accidentally ordered a half of a sandwich. When it came out I noticed it and asked to buy the other half of the sandwich. He said we don't sell them that way. They literally just sold me a half. I then asked for a whole sandwich to purchase. He told me to keep my money. He wouldn't place the other order. I have never ordered from a less competent business in my entire life. I placed an order online at 4 o'clock, for a 6 PM delivery. It is now 647 and we have gone through countless DoorDash drivers because our order is still not ready. Food was okay. But this location did not even have a full menu available. Only 2 employees working. They couldn't keep up. Messed up orders. Literally nothing positive to say about this place. As good as their pictures look on their menu, this place was awful. We ordered 2 pizzas 2 64 ounce sodas and a Greek Salad. Both pizzas were dry. Mine was over also overcooked. The Greek salad wasn't a Greek salad, it was a garden salad with chicken on it. And the sodas....... They didn't have 64 ounce cups apparently, so they sent four 32 ounce cups...... with no ice. I repeat, no ice. And for the cherry on top, no straws. To add insult to injury, I ordered a white cheese pizza with pepperoni and jalapeños. The pizza was sent with red sauce and no pepperoni. The sandwiches were made incorrectly and did not have enough meat or other toppings either. The sandwiches were okay, but skimpy. They forgot the chips & one of the drinks and of course this was delivered to the hotel we were staying at so that was a whole other issue. I can not say the food was good or bad, it was merely adequate. The missing drink and chips were just icing on the cake at that point. Definitely NOT a deli nor was this deli quality, Subway would be a similar sandwich at half the price. read more

This is the best Schlotzsky's I have ever ate at as far as I'm concerned it's the greatest flatbread pizza on the island if you don't stop and eat at Schlotzsky's you're missing out I eat there once a week it's wonderful in the staff the girls are polite and sweet courteous the place is clean and the owner he's just great so nice always greets you always has positive things to say to you it's just an awesome awesome place read more

Avoid this location at all costs. We stopped in on 11/17/2023 and order sandwiches and chips. Everything was fine with our order, but my brother ordered 1 med sandwich combo and was charged over $20.00 when we looked at the receipt they charged everything separate and charged over $4.00 for a single bag of chips. They two women working in the restaurant said they did not over charge us then said they could not give any kind of refund. When we asked for a manager she called someone on the phone and said it would be just a minute, then it was going to be 5 minutes, then 10 minutes, then the next day. I'm guessing the pay from this location is so low that the women needed to split the $6.00 they stole from my brother. I would never go back to this location again. read more

We had never been to Schlotzky's. The very friendly greeting from the manager when we entered was really nice. He helped my husband with his order and we both enjoyed the sandwiches, they were amazing and fresh!!! The place was so clean and everyone was wearing masks!!! WE WILL BE BACK!! TY :) read more

Overcharged and no one on site that knew anything other than how to put meat on bread. Told to come back tomorrow to speak to manager. Reviewed on Schlotzsky's website and received a call from Guest Services, who was as unhelpful as the employee's in the star. Kept telling me the store had "declined a refund" when in actuality, no one in the store knew how to do a refund. Guest Services could do nothing except credit some amount to my Rewards Account, even though I don't have one (and never will now). Told me over and over it had been forwarded to "upper management" and they saw no problem with the transaction or the ineptitude of the employees, but would not say if "upper management" was the store manager, the area manager, or the franchise holder. Don't bother wasting your money in the store, don't bother wasting your time on the website, they both reach the same "too bad, so sad" conclusion. read more

Just meh. Not actually a deli just a few mediocre sandwiches and basic prepared pizza/calmness. The service was okay. No one was rude, no one was pleasant. The food was underwhelming. Even with fast food expectations we were disappointed. We ordered a roast Beef sandwich. It was severely overdone. Very lettuce forward and apparently only mustard is not enough to stop them putting their nasty "special sauce" The chicken Greek salad came with only 1 small piece of chicken, no feta and no olives. Not sure where they got the name since it wasn't chicken or Greek, just salad. The kids grilled cheese was cheddar on a bun that had been squashed so long and hard on the grill that a 6 year old could not bite through the edges of the sandwich. The "fresh fruit" cup that came with it was dole mixed fruit that they pulled not from the refrigerator but from a box (same place she pulled the apple juice box from) sooooo.. not fresh a d not cool but at least fruit. ​ read more

I was very disappointed at this Shlotzsky's location. Nasty nasty nasty! I saw cashier handle money from a purchase and then after he was done proceeded to make sandwiches with his bare hands! My sandwiches! Him and another employee. I had never had this kind of experience at this food chain and this is now this is the worst. I then said over counter to both kid/man, where are your gloves? And they ignored me! Manager comes out from back and i tell her what happened. She turns to them asks about gloves, then turns to me and says "he says he is only handling wrapped sandwiches". I said, no they are not! I saw them use their bare hands to place lettuce, tomato, etc...on sandwich. So she turns to them again and says "you will have to remake sandwiches and wear gloves, she saw you". Really!?!? Wth?!?! ugh!!! I asked for refund and she said "we don't give refunds on food. Where do I start? Quality of the the products. 2/10. -Edible. But I'll eat just about anything when I'm super hungry... Accuracy/management. 1/10. -We ordered the jalapeno roll. It was on our check.... nope! -Ordered pizza.... out of crust -Ordered roast beef.... out of beef -And we got charged for our initial order.... after replacing the beef sandwich with a chicken/bacon smoked cheese one. And nixing the pizza.... a difference of about 25 bucks all said. So now I have to waste my vacation time to call about it. -The chicken sandwich did not have the chipotle mayo -We also added spicy mustard and onions. They waved onions over it like a magician but very little appeared.... and no mustard.... - I ordered double meat..... they also treated the bacon as the onions.... very little -Last but not least... the delivery service i saw that they used was grubhub... it was door dash.... we hate door dash... have had nothing but issues... the driver was excellent. The company is poo. This was not a door dash issue though..... Also whatever "special sauce" they use.... they must have been out of that too.
